This unit is awesome and the price is good, Just wish it would talk to link ware live instead of link ware pc. Also wondering how the test results compare from the DSX-8000? I would think this would let my smaller contractors have a more affordable tester. I started 1 campus tech with netalley and we like it, also it auto tests and send a auto email back. This is close to the same price + touch screen and 10g capable. We are buying this unit for the second tech.
So basically this is Cable IQ with color lcd. It doesn't have live testing. So its only one shot test. You cant wiggle cable ant see if there is problem in connector.
Good catch, the ability to wiggle the cable and/or bend the cable at different angles and see if doing so makes the cable fail HAS saved my ass before.
@@Salad360 I was cable guy for more than 6 years. And a LOT I wuold say 30% UTP STP cable problems are in RJ45 plugs. So if network tester doesn't have live cable data - for me it's a deal breaker.

Yes they all have different twist per inch to avoid minimize crosstalk between pairs
