I'm very envious, my favourite country in the world and, scarily, it's now 35 years since I spent most of the summer in Tokyo. And you absolutely hit the nail on the head when you made that offhand comment about it being a "high-trust society". If you get the chance you must try to go to a Sumo tournament (Basho), which I failed to do but, having regularly watched it on TV, it really is the ultimate Japanese experience.
@@JagEnsor I think it might be our favourite country too! We spent 7 weeks there and I’m sure we will return at some point. We didn’t get a chance to visit a sumo tournament but I hear they are crazy events! Definitely on the list for next time ☺️
