I guess you could call it Huge-ston!
That's an Emile level of pun wow dude
Connor Smith Thanks. I try. ;)
There are a couple Raising Cane's around Lexington, Kentucky, and I really love eating there. Glad someone else likes it too!
Ergh, every time you do that "Let's meet back tomorrow, shall we?" with a crowd, it totally throws me off. There's all this build up, and you cut it perfectly at the peak of my excitement, you cut away and it feels like I've been punched in the gut and I don't get the payoff I hoped for. It's not made up for by getting it later. The excitement is gone by then. Totally kills me every time.
The meetups seem really... awkward
Holy crap, I thought I was the only one..
The concept is kinda weird so I guess that's what makes it so awkward.
eywright That's what happens when you gather a bunch of people who aren't used to being on camera and get them to do something on the spot :P
Have you been to one?
eywright No, I just figured that might be the case.
There's a few Raising Cane's here in Nebraska! Everyone adores it from what I can tell. There were a few kids at my old high school who apparently sped above the speed limit to be able to get there and back for lunch.
Raising Cane's? You really gotta try their chicken fingers!!
Stephen I love you
Agree we love you and Mal
I remember when i went to Houston years ago. It was so big like you said. We traveled to a few stores and it took a good amount of time. I believe we were like 20 mins from the Astro's baseball stadium which was nice cause it had air condition lol.
I thought raising Cane sounded familiar when my aunt told me about it last year.
I heard it here first.
Well, approximately nine years later, and that guy is still proving his professor wrong, and even came up here to the north.
There's actually a Raising Cane's in Charleston, South Carolina. And funny enough, my reaction (as well as probably everyone who eats there) was the same that they are basically Zaxby's, but only offer chicken fingers.
I live in Cincinnati and we have raising canes they're great
And I'm just sotting in Hawaii wishing I was there. Small meetups are the greatest.
9:20 "it's just like the game!"
Man I haven't had a good pickle in ages, my mouth watered at the sight of that one.
And then the sandwiches appeared and dang I'm hungry now.
Oh maaaaaaaaaan, you ate Cane's?! Niiiiiiiiiiiice. Glad you got to experience that. There's one in Charleston as well.
This day in history: July 13
1864 - Early retreats from Washington City back to Shenandoah Valley
1870 - King Wilhelm of Prussia sends "Emser Depeche" on Bismarck
1941 - World War II: Montenegrins start popular uprising against the Axis Powers (Trinaestojulski ustanak).
1962 - 500 Indonesian parachutists land on New-Guinea
2014 - Germany defeats Argentina 1-0 in Extra Time to win their 4th World Cup, tied with Italy for 2nd most all time, trailing Brazil, with 5.
1962 was a long time ag- Okay, I'll stop.
Canes is in Ohio too! There are a handful of stores in central Ohio. One is in my town and we get it all the time.
Omg hi Stephenvlog and Mal hope you guys are enjoying your trip and I love your videos keep doing more can't wait for more love you guys
There are a couple raising canes in Alabama
One of my friends lives in Texas and I'd like to visit him at some point!
Hey you went through my town!!!!
I stay in houston it's very big and it stays hot here lol
I've been to the Raising Cane's in Mount Pleasant, and even though I only got to try someone else's, I thought it was very good. I also think there's one in North Charleston.
"3, 2, 1..." *cut*
All cities are huge compared to where I live
Omg canes!
What a neat group for this meetup! Seems like it was fun and umm...please don't McDonalds and drive. O_O...
Also, I'm taking the Journey...marathoning it at Day 660 now...and it's interesting to see you reference a card game because I saw many of the newer vlogs pretty live when I started and compared them to classic vlogs and noticed the shift away from MTG type card games. Kinda nostalgic to see a card game in a post 1000 vlog :).
Aw, you never went to the world's largest pecan. :(
Thanks for considering it, and I hope you two see it eventually!
I'm on the vlog i'm the guy wearing the hat
it was fun meeting Stephen although i will admit that the meet-up was extremely awkward lol
Are you the last guy
No im the black guy with the gray shirt and hat
I live right south of Houston and I eat Raising Canes all the time. Too bad I missed the meetup though.
Welcome to Texas, where you can drive for 10 hours and still be in Texas
Raising Canes is amazing!
wow seth hasnt been on the vlog in like 3 years
Houston should be renamed Hugeston.
👍
To be fair, Houston's population is 2.1million.
houston is huge ... just like the game! * hides in a corner *
the last time you saw seth was new years eve 2012 i believe
Steven did you go through a small town called blanco on your way from San Antonio to Houston?
StephenVlog I've lived in Houston all my 19 year old life and I still haven't seen every part of it. Lol. It is huge! I'm glad you enjoyed it :D.
I was hoping they would mess up the outro
I'm in the vlog! Woo! I'm the only female that isn't Mal or somebody's mom.
I'm so jealous
Hayley? Hm...
She meant in this specific vlog, not in the vlog overall.
I thought it was kind of obvious that I meant at the gathering...
Seth should be on more often he's one cool dude 😏
I liked going to Houston for the Johnson space center, but everything else about it I could care less. One big modern mess!
I was there i was the kid with the long hair with the black shirt
You were here??? Awww I missed it. I would have said Herp Skerp Derp.
It may be just me, but Seth reminds me of Totalbiscuit. I mean the way he looks
I know of two different Raising Canes in Oklahoma, but I haven't lived anywhere there except Oklahoma City and Stillwater, where I go to school now, so there may be more. Personally, I think they're a bit overpriced and not much better than Chic-fil-a or other cheaper places.
Woah new comment
It's really weird to see my hometown in the vlog. But it's also really cool. And yeah, going anywhere takes a while.
Stephen you are not allowed to think that San Antonio is bigger than Houston. Houston is the 4th largest city in the US!
Yea Houston is big but not really a lot to see in the down town area you should have gone to the museum district.
ugh. One time I was at LAX and only had a few bucks. saw they had a mcdonalds. I thought "OH SWEET I can get a full meal." thinking they'd have the dollar meal or something. What a joke. $3 cheeseburger and enough change leftover to get a water from a soda machine
Hey Stephen, have you heard that Robin Williams died? Shocked the hell out of me.
houston is smaller than la in their population, but houston is larger than la geographically. Houston is 599.6 sq mi, and la is 468.7 sq mi. according to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_cities_by_population
I know its not relevant to this video, but Rest in peace Robin WIliams...
I was there, i was the guy in the DBZ shirt, and don't ask why i said YOLO.
I honestly heard "JOLO"
None of the food from McDonalds is worth it... Their hash browns definitely aren't worth anything either.
Gah... Houston... Lovely city, but after this last week I'd have preferred to never hear the name again... So I was flying from my hometown to Indianapolis, but the flight was cancelled, meaning I had to stay the night in Houston to catch the earliest flight to Indy. On the way back? Flight from. Indy to Houston delayed to where I missed the flight back home and I was stuck in Houston AGAIN. I've never been so frustrated with plane travel in my life.
He's Seth freaking Rollins
my favorite part of this vlog was the dad saying "hi"
AAAAAAAAAARGH I would have been on this vlog if I hadn`t had to go on vacation at this precise time ;A; Son of a gun, man. Son of a gun.
Well, I feel your pain, Stephen. From my house to University of Houston main campus is an hour if I don`t hit amazingly major traffic. Houston is big.
You don't know big cities till you live in Jacksonville all your life...
Dude, Jacksonville is tiny compared to _many_ US cities
In continental US its the biggest. I'm guessing you don't here...
Jacksonville is NOT the biggest city in the continental US. Not even CLOSE! I don't think it even has a million people. Unless you're talking strictly land area, in which case I don't know.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_cities_by_area
Umm... well then.
LopsidedPasta Yes, Jacksonville is not the most populated city but it is the biggest city in the US in terms of square miles. Please don't get the two mixed up or else it may look dumb to other people.
UGH I MISSED IT :(((((
Seth really doesn't seem like the kind of guy that Stephen would be friends with. Not saying there's anything wrong with him, but they just don't seem to have compatible personalities.
I'm the kid in the batman shirt.
I’m still sad I couldn’t see you :( haha yes it’s huge
What game did you play with Seth?
I put ketchup on my pickles :)
this is depressing for me.....I was so close but unfortunately i had to work T.T So close yet so far away
I think I became "that one guy with the business cards." Also, Stephen, did you give Seth my card?
I made on a vlog
Ah, Canes. Canes is good, but very overrated. Chick Fila > Canes any day. Also, I have a LOT of comments on this video! xD
