      You want to do 'amr bil maroof wa nahi anil munkar' for the roolers but you are so coward that u gonna do that in hotels and restaurants so that rulers don't get to listen..if want to prevent a ruler from doing a bad thing then have some balls and don't get afraid on getting reported

If a ruler is doing wrong then according to sahih Hadith u have to advise him privately... Speaking publicly about the wrong doings of rulers is nothing but inciting violence and making the state unstable... Look at Libya and syria

    After Islam, I'm still not a snitch, to anyone.
    I would never ever snitch on a Muslim.

      It was narrated from al-Miqdaam ibn Ma‘di Karib from the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that he said: “Verily, I have been given the Book and something like it with it, but soon a man will be lying replete on his couch and he will say: You should adhere to this Qur’an. Whatever you find is permitted in it, take it as permissible, and whatever you find forbidden in it, take it as forbidden. Verily, the (meat of) tame donkeys is not permissible to you, nor is (the meat of) every animal that has fangs.”
      Narrated by Abu Dawood (4604); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.

    Just to be clear, a snitch is someone who is also involved with a crime and decides to report another criminal to the authorities. A civilian who reports someone is not a snitch. At least that’s the understanding in America. 🤲🏾

      @@farooqbinadam define a crime, for example muslim stealing harbi kafir store in darl harb wouldn't consider a crime according to Islamic jurisprudence. Would u report that muslim ? Drug dealing to kafir is not a crime Islamicly as well. Learn fiqh!

      Yes that's true. However if this man means to report someone in religious matters to any Arab country authorities, that would most likely mean decades of prison and severe torture. Even if someone who was really bad in religious matters I would never do that in those countries. Mr Faris definitely do know what these Arab leaders do of atrocities to those they imprison. Especially the scholars and those who speak up against injustice

      better and more righteous to forgive people than try to get "eye for an eye". if the person didn't harm you, but just did another type of sin e.g. zina, we know Habeebullah SAW tried His SAW's utmost best to try and not get a Sahabi (RA) who came to him, handing himself in for doing zina, and Habeebullah SAW basically disregarded it because it's better for him to repent. Allah knows best. This just came to my head when I saw ur comment, so may not be correct, but still had intention of getting reward for at least trying to spread a bit of knowledge
