To get the Point Counter-Point trophy/achievement, counter all Deathstroke's attacks. The best tip I can give is to be smart when to use the counter button. Usually there will be a small window where the game goes into a subtle slow-mo effect - this is when you want to counter his attacks. Doing it too early or too late will lead to you taking damage and needing to restart the boss fight.
It took a coordinated Teen Titans team to take Deathstroke down.
It only took Batman less than 5 minutes to subdue him.

No, man. As much as I love Batman, this wasn't accurate. The REAL Deathstroke is someone who could take him solo, any day. All I will say is Batman vs Deathstroke, Clock Tower, tells you all you need to know

This is how the Deathstroke fight in Arkham Knight should of been, not the shitty tank battle we got instead.
I would've loved a boss with him on the ground. after you take out all the Slade's posts and stuff you fight him one on one on a roof or inside some place.
There were a lot of disappointments in Knight. But Deathstroke was just unforgivable
Tell me about it, and I’m a guy who likes Arkham Knight, but that was one of the most disappointing battles ever, like I was thinking “by the end of this he’s going to call me and be like “meet me here, we’re ending this” leading to a badass 1v1, and when I came to that, I was super excited, then......I saw the “place Batmobile” thing on the streets, I was literally shocked, I couldn’t comprehend it at first, the idea that me, Batman, would be fight Deathstroke, Slade fucking Wilson, in a tank battle??? Let’s just say I was not happy at all.
We can pretty much say that to every single "boss" in that game, but indeed Deathstroke was a wasted opportunity.
This should have been the fight with Deathstroke and Arkham Knight/Red Hood as well.
I like how in the first cutscene where Slade jumps down, he takes out his other sword just to put it away and then take out his staff thing

@@zephyr1327 No, he talks about the first cutscene with him. Batman uses his sword to cut free and then throws it away. Deathstroke pulls another one and then when the fight starts, he puts it back and pulls out a staff.

I think they used deathstroke a bit early in the game, the could've saved him for later in game

Honestly I'm more annoyed that his mask came off too early in the fight.
Deathstroke should've been around the second last assassin to fight while Bane is the last like in the game.
or have a second battle with batman in the blackgate prison using two swords at the same time.
My memory is slightly hazy on this game(Haven't played it in some time. Admittedly annoyed it wasn't included in the Arkham collection despite sorta being canon seeing as Arkham Knight gives nods to it) but I feel as though Deathstroke should've continued to be an inconvenience throughout the game without technically being part of the plot. Basically, each time you'd encounter him he'd increase in difficulty and pull Batman away at extremely inconvenient moments much like he did here when Batman is interrogating Penguin. His interest in actually joining with or going against Bane or the Joker would be non existent, with even the bounty being an after thought. His only goal soon being to rival and challenge the Batman, almost getting a thrill just from each of their fights through the night.
I literally felt like I was watching a movie. Best boss fight in Arkham history just wish it coulda happened a little later in the game.

And the cinematic are the best in the series. So no, it isn't terrible. Very theatrical. The whole game felt like a movie actually. Kind of like the dark Knight. It was obviously inspired by the dark Knight and from the killing joke too.

@@Lucius1246 I think some people are just upset that Black Mask got mistreated in the game. He was the center of the marketing, only for him to be Joker the whole time. The real Black Mask doesn't do too much in this game.
The relationship starting between Joker and Batman is amazingly written in this game though.
This was utterly the most amazing no hit fight against Slade on this game I have ever seen WELL DONE MAN! WELL DONE!
This was one of my most frustrating boss battles I had in the Arkham games but once I figured out how to do it correctly it became one of my favorites of the entire series

This is so frustrating but also impressive. I'm doing the game for the first time in NG+ but it is so hard not being able to see when to counter and when to strike. His patern is so chaotic. Very great to see a fight looking that fast and natural like that! Gg
The fight choreography is superb, if this was in a movie (a bit shorter fight) it would probably be the best fight scene in history.

When I was younger I would always lose to slade because I would quickly press buttons and didn’t realize this game was more about timing and patience not to forget to take things nice and slow brings back memories, despite the bugs and glitches in this game it still a legendary game to be and always will be

I like the Deathstroke movement coupled with the Batman movement in Batman Begins game. Especially in the 3:36-3:39, 5:54-6:02 and 6:12-6:16 minutes. That makes them both not look weak and look like a fierce and satisfying battle, Unlike Batman's battle against Deathstroke in the Batman Arkham Knight game.

this is one of the only fights in a Batman game that made me feel like Batman, this boss fight took skill and timing and pulling it off made me feel like a badass, I don't understand why people hated this game so much

Honestly, one of the best and most stylistic battles in the entire Batman Arkham series
Its actually amazing how this fight is portrayed in the game. The fight looks better if you do it flawlessly, if you fail on other things it looked as if your batman was struggling. Almost as if the more you practice your fighting style the more fluent you become. Kudos to you.

Firefly You are the best boss.
Firefly was a repeative boss, doing the same thing over and over again.
So Slade takes his second sword out after Batman takes his first, but then puts it away only to go for his bo staff.
So you interpret this in two ways:
1)He realised after taking his sword out that his first one didn't work, so decided that he better go for more range. Since Batman could easily block the sword with his cuffs and gloves, while the bo staff would do some damage no matter what because he could be faster with his attacks by hitting with both sides, the sword could only hit with one side. The sword realistically could not penetrate the armor, however he could go instead for impact attacks with the bo which if you see at the beginning at the fight Batman gets knocked back with the bo staff. Now if look at what deathstroke could do with a sword while Batman was upside down, he basically gave Batman a hand (in getting back on his feet).
Essentially deathstroke could "spam" the square or x button until Batman made a mistake.
Of course he didn't know the little known fact that Batman doesn't lose, why? Because he's *BATMAN*
2)the other reason was that since Batman took his sword he thought Batman would keep it for them to have duel, but since he didn't he switched for the bo and was dying from embarrassment inside.

One of the best boss fights in the entire series of Batman games, not even just the Arkham series. The choreography is on point and it looks good. It’s prefect because it shows the skills of both of the characters, Batman and Deathstroke are both amazing fighters and they portrayed that really good here. Really underrated boss fight if you ask me, the game wasn’t bad either.

Epik Hell Sword he's easy if you know what to do instead of just improvising. But if you understand the pattern it's pretty damn easy even on hard mode

It took me like 15 tries to get a flawless victory against him without hints. Really challenging but rewarding when I finally did it.

The only annoying thing is whenever Slade is against the wall, Bats has to chuck him back to the center of the room. It’s a pace breaker.
Other than that, this is probably the best boss in the whole series when it comes to pure combat, while Mr. Freeze in City is the best in terms of Stealth. And it makes sense, Deathstroke is probably Batman’s closest match when it comes to their skill sets. Bane’s a brute, not a martial artist. Ra’s al Ghul helped teach Bruce how to fight, so he has more experience, so technically superior. And Red Hood used to work for Batman and basically has the opposite thing as Ra’s, where this time Bruce is more experienced. So in terms of Martial Arts training, combat strategy, and gadgets, not to mention their own unique ways of learning all of the above, Slade truly is Batman’s match.
