An interesting fact is that the Yamaha FC3a (not 4a), gives the same response as the Nord SP-2. I've tried this (as I've just got a Nord Stage 4), and kept a FC3a pedal from a previous Yamaha keyboard. Tried when I got the Stage 4 just to see if it worked well, and it worked perfectly with the latest Nord firmware, and selecting Nord SP-2.
No it does not. Having the FC3A depressed you can see in the pedal menu that the board still thinks it is slightly pressed. Also the dynamic range is available when the pedal is almost completely pressed.
Hi! I have the Nord Stage 4 and I want the sostenuto functionality of the middle pedal like on a Grand. Do you know if I have to buy the Nord Triple Pedal 2, or if the Nord Triple Pedal 1 would be compatible for that function?
NS4 newbie over here! I just can’t find any instruction to how I can just use a single pedal as the damper pedal when I just use the piano section. Could you help me please?
Cash grab by Nord, not giving access to the piano sustain samples (hiss and clunk) unless you buy the really expensive pedal. All the piano samples I own that have that feature can be easily triggered by a regular sustain pedal.
Is the triple pedal that came with the Nord Piano 5 the 2nd or 1st triple pedal? I have one but i traded my Piano 5 in for a Stage 4 today. The retailer told me to keep the triple pedal cus it won't change the trade-in price. How can I tell if my triple pedal is 1 or 2? Thanks
I have the Triple Pedal 2 and, I love it ! It took 6 months on a wait list to get it !
Kawai GFP-3 is the exact same pedal as the Nord Triple Pedal 2. It cost approx 55%.
Can confirm
Does it work with nord?
@@josipbosnjak6808 Yes. I am using it since a year. Works perfect.
Yes. I have the NS4 88 and the GFP-3 pedal. It works. You get all of the functionality of the NTP 2 for almost half the price.
Please, more about the synth engine

Oh cool! I’ll have to try that as I have one of those kicking around somewhere!

What are those headphones you're using?
I have 2 Yamaha FC-4A (3 of them) and it won't work with my NP5! ugh
Have you tried messing around with the settings in the Pedal Menu? I think the sustain type settings are on page 1 of that menu.
