I was a child in the 1970s. I got to experience some of this Jamaica. By 1976, the violence was becoming a problem. Home guards patrolled the streets of Kingston and there were curfews. By the 1980 election, there was no doubt that garrison politics had turned Jamaica into a violent place. It was sad to watch the decline. It made me angry that my all age school had to close down a year after I left it due to the violence in its surrounding areas.
How..which part. Wi government on both sides curropt. Crime rate high everywhere you go. Curropt police. Pollution and we economy a drop everyday and not getting any better. We sell out we land to chiney man and white man to make quick cash. A quarter of our country don't have running water and electricity and does the curropt government do anything to help..nope. only making money for themselves and putting our country in more crime and debt.
Those days look more sweeter and less violent than today😌

its like the place stagnated after this cause I was born in 89 and this is how the place looked till just recently. SMH
