Years ago I shared this band and every song of them with a gf I had. When we broke up and I moved to another place, they released You're Not Here With Me. I felt as if I was part of that story, the voice who craves for another chance on a rainy day. Now I'm too tired to argue and I know I should let her go.

she sounds really good, Im not a drummer by any means but she seemed a little stiff, a drummers insight would be nice I just wording if being mechanical with it may help or by using movement for instance the drummer from king krule George bass.
@@jareddeltaco6185 I'm a drummer of 30 years and have done it professionally as well as studied with world class people and world class schools. I can tell you she's fantastic. As far as technique and posture, yes she's a bit stiff, but that doesn't affect her musicality. She's not playing highly technical music so it's not much of a detriment. I'm sure she'll continue to grow, but what matters is she's rock solid and musical. On point!

This set was a dream. No Vacation has been consistently putting out exceptionally good music. Intermission was one of the BEST releases last year and they truly represent dream pop at its finest. Can't wait to hear what they put out in the future. (btw Sabrina sounds so much like Lauren from SALES.)

this live session made me feel sooo many things. there is such a strong sense of melancholy, nostalgia in the form of a dream-like haze in their music. it doesn't hurt but it does? its' ability to take you to another place, back into the past or even moment yet to happen, is uncanny.
Everyone in this band is beautiful.
Only real ones come back to this amazing performance
No vacation is under appreciated for just how stupid great they, good catchy riffs, groovy bass, great drum filling, the right amount of synthy keyboard, beautiful vocals, and to top it off some really damn good song writing and lyrics

I love this video. Slowly realizing the ways I feel in life when I listen to this band. The lyrics to the songs speak for me.I could most likely say I am depressed or have depression but the easiest way to cope is realization of what & why. Getting hit with the answer as to why helps alot. Plus the live versions are awesome. Cuz I stay with the album version playing. Thanks

No Vacation have consistently put out good music in these past years and although I love all of their projects, something about Yam Yam and specially the "staring at a distance" part of that track just touches me deeply. I've heard the song maybe a million times and that part always transcends me. I've always looked at their lyrics as poetry smoothly wrapped in a dream pop cover. What a band!
