Thank you Jose! There is no curtain hanging over the sun loving vandas. I think what you saw was a conner of the sunscreen cloth I have over the pergola where my mounted cattleyas live. From where I was standing a corner of the sunscreen was visible in some frames.🌞💖
Congratulations on 1000.💚 You have beautiful blooms as always I saw myself on your video when you were at krull smith at fruit and spice park would of love to say Hi but I don't know what you look like and didn't notice you filming please film yourself once so we can meet you. Thanks
Hello Grisel, I would love to meet you. It's crazy that we almost bumped into each other and didn't know it. 😄 I will put up an avatar with my face so you will recognize me next time. Thank you for the congratulations, as you know 1000 subscribers is a milestone!😊💕💕💕
Hi. Yesterday my orchids were fine, today I am watering and noticed lots of yellow leaves and phals with black spots too. My sister has the same issue. It has been cool but I would think not cold enough to have that reaction.
Lovely blooms. We had a temp dip about a week ago and I noticed that my leaves aren’t looking too good, so I fed my orchids some Epsom salts this morning. Congratulations on reaching your 1K mark and I hope your channel will continue to grow.
Thank you so much!!! I also use Epsom salt sometimes, and I notice that my orchids look so much better. We learn as we go, all the while enjoying our orchids. 🌞💖💖
I have Den. phals and they've been fine but B. nodosa and a Cahuzacara have lost leaves and p-bulbs this winter which is the first time I've seen that on them, and I'm talking about coming from the bottom up, not from the tip down so everyone be careful of putting on too much water this winter! If you come in to winter with good, plump p-bulbs hold off and let those p-bulbs wrinkle and do their jobs, trust me you'll be sorry if you water too much. I've dropped my water and ferts in half on almost all mounts-only orchids and still having problems, going to keep this level on Phals and Bulbos but I'm going to half again on Catts and Onc. for good measure and maybe raise it a bit if things look too direly parched but honestly if they had access to regular rainfall here I would have needed to go waay harder with what feels like neglect.
Thank you Jo for sharing your experiences about this problem. I have also noticed that a few of my mounted Brassavola hybrids are losing their leaves and pseudobulbs. I cut my waterings way down this winter but with the irregular rains it's still hard to control how much water they get. Growing orchids outside involves taking chances with the weather. Best of luck and happy growing!💖
Lovely video, thanks for sharing.

You should change the name of the channel to Orchid Master Grower. Beautiful specimens.
