Congrats on having the Singapore Tourism Board recognising your talent and international reach to sponsor your trip. They are lucky to have you introducing the lion city. Look forward to seeing what you guys produce :)
Oh noooo brother! I’m so sorry that you had horrible heat stroke! Kowaii ne! I’m just so happy that you recovered. I have an onegai please…… yes to carrying some type of drink that has electrolytes in it-like Pocari Sweat, from now on. Thank you for taking us on the long walk to Osu. I can’t believe that there’s such a huge temple in the middle of the shotengai. I especially can’t believe that they play Bingo there in Nagoya. 🤭 Aside from loving Pachinko, I also love Bingo. LOL! Thank you for all of your hard work at filming for us! I hope you didn’t get rained on, trying to get back to your hotel. Sending you lots of love!
Nagoya looks lovely ❤ Have you considered those icy neck coolers everywhere in Japan?Once they harden not sure if they need to be in hot water to turn liquid again. I have 2 nights in Singapore next month&think you influenced my Dr as for first time he went to hawker markets You can take boat ride with Satoshi at Marina Bay Thanks&Sydney has several Indonesian restaurants amongst others Cheers 🍻
I love when big cities have trees planted all around and the beautiful parks. And that temple was so cool, it did look like a arcade or theater. Have a safe trip back to Singapore. Congratulations on getting the sponsor.😊
@Shinichi's World congratulations and super happy for you! Come after mid Nov, the Christmas lights up should be up by then and the weather should definitely be nicer than your earlier trips ☺️
So sorry to hear about your experience with heat stroke Shinichi. I had heat stroke about 30 years ago and I had to go to the hospital in the evening. I was playing beach volleyball all day with friends and drinking beer and wine coolers. It nearly killed me; so yeah people. Hydrate w/ water, GatorAde, fresh fruit juice, etc. Combination of all is good. But not too much! Plenty of breaks from being in the sun too. Nice walkabout Shinichi! Thanks and stay safe!
I had my first experience with “almost” heat stroke (exhaustion) last month and it was NOT something I wish to repeat. I am glad to see you were being proactive with hydration. I thought I had been but it wasn’t enough. Be careful! ❤
🌺 Aloha Shinichi, It’s so nice to take us along your walk. I really like the park and the science building. Singapore is very nice with your help, we get to understand it more when you’re explaining to us along your walk. Mahalo and a hui hou! 🤙🏽 Don’t forget to hydrate with water…
I love used clothes, it's like finding a treasure. since you've had dehydration in past before you go out you need to prehydate, that includes 24 hours prior to being out in hot weather
I've been to that kakigori place you passed by in Fushimi and it's really good! there's a lovely little garden inside too, so you can enjoy your icy treat with a view!
I love your walking videos! Thanks for sharing them! I also love going to Japan as much as you go to Singapore, even though I've only gone once. I want to fly back to Tokyo in late July - early August, but I'm nervous about the heat because of what I've heard from so many people. My hometown is hotter, but I haven't been there in the summer in a few years and I'm used to cool weather year round. I want to engage in summer festivities and see the fireworks shows, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. Your experience almost fainting sounds scary! Sakura season is great, so maybe I'll do that again, then autumn in 2025. 🙂
I'm actually pleasantly surprised that STB is willing to sponsor you and Satoshi to make videos in Singapore. Any clues on when you will be revisiting again? Side note: Mandarake in Nakano is extremely dangerous for a toy and anime merch collector's wallet. Exercise self control when visiting!

Glad to see another Nagoya video, it's a little underrated I feel, almost nobody ever vlogs about it. It's good to get to know it a bit better ^^

Great news about the sponsorship in Singapore, look forward to seeing it🙂
Seems like Houston, Texas and Tokyo have similar seasons. Tokyo is just a few degrees cooler in both the summer and winter…
Thank you for this lovely walk! Too bad you could not yet go back to Amsterdam, the weather has been so good in september :)
I love used clothing stores! I would love to go to koenji
Strange, the Uniqlo Airism shirts I got with the mesh backs worked really well in Bali, I also like linen but I get loose fit too.

Nowadays I may carry an electrolyte powder stick to flavor water.
no comments about the person sleeping under the bridge :/
Is this near the ghibli theme park?
No. I think a train stop away. We drove there so I'm not too sure.

You should really wear a hat! Sunscreen. And always have a water bottle on you.
