Cost definitely matters when crashing. Consistent latency reduces crashes and I am still a fan of getting that live audio. What cam and vtx you using?
The camera is the runcam nano, which normaly doesnt do to well in low light, and the vtx is the mamba half board Tiny @ 500mw.
Their is sooo much crambed in that little thing that it has 128k blheli-32 mamba, mamba shielding, then the f405 mk3 mamba esc ,shielding, and then the half board vtx and ive cut one of the stack mounting screws to fit the radiomaster expresslrs with a longer ufl antenna, o and a huge cap and buzzer! It flies so prescise , i just love it! So a stack that can sit perfectly in a iflight 5" with 20×20 mounting and a frame that has3 pieces, and its my best flying quad, doesnt make sense!???

analog is the goat...
I just lost a quad onto government land because I lost digital video and it takes so long to come back once its gone. digital is great right up to the point of disconnect, then it takes up to 15 seconds to connect and come back. analog is not as good per Mw but it gives you what it has at any given moment, and that might just be a shadow in the snow-blind but that can save you flying at full speed.
That is a PERFECT example my friend, digital is spectacular, but like you said, when things go wrong, its bad! I tried to go through a gap with my walksnail AOS 3.5 and the antenna case came off, ive nevever had that happen on a true rc or rush ,cheap analog antenna.
I think i started appreciating analog again was with my skyzoneo4x and the ipd adjustment and lens correction, wow, that improved it!

Yea dude, i flew an abandoned military base last week and some of the tunnels were soooo blurry and fuzzy but i could just see the walls enough to blast out the tunnel and instantly recover signal. Analog rules
@properorientation yes mate ,well done dude, i know i replay some of my long distance flights back, (not huge diatance but i wouldnt want to walk it) and same herear ,drop out = problem wheras at least you know when your signal los is goona happen , thanks for your comment😀
Yea i still fly only analog and really have no desire to switch. Digital is good for professional stuff like real estate videos or stuff like that but for me, i just want to speed and do flips

Thanks for your comment , I think if you get a really clean feed on your analog set up, and some nice goggles, and a action cam, I use the #RUNCAMTHUMBPRO, then it's a nice cheaper setup! And this is just my thinking but I am then, not as scared to try new tricks I've learnt on the sim, what do you think?

As others have mentiined the signal just slowly decays ratger than static and black screen drops, try it get a good cam and vtx for 60$ , i love #walksnail, but i jyst cant afford vtx and cams at the moment!

This is the first FPV video let alone any sort of video/montage that I have seen where both the content and the music was remixed by the creator themselves.
It might be my favorite part of the video seeing #RCADDICT when the music title showed up. It made me pause the video and go listen to the original so I could appreciate what you changed. Also nice flying!

I like the Rush SOLO and MAX. Also The TBS 32HV works very well for me. I use TBS small VTX in my small Quads
@dronerob yeah thats pretty much me too, i did a give away a few months back for my tbs unifypro hv that i had used just a few times, because i brought walksnail, i loved the mic on that vtx, and the quality, but im definately with you on the rush solo, its just so simple, 2 buttons "i use the tx betaflightblua script" but dont get me wrong, walksnail is mind blowing, but it also holds me back, at 170£ for pro kit, one crash and the vtx gets knocked "shocked" or the cam gets smashed, wow, analog your talking much much less!
I havnt kept up to date with the cameras, the joshua bardwell silver pheonix 2 was my go to cam, any thought on the latest cameras?
No not too much on cameras. I stick with anything runcam, Trex is my fave. Ya the best part is cheap replacement lol

The guy I was getting my vtx off tried to rip me off I'm pure gutted. He didn't get any cash but it's bummed me out I was looking forward to trying digital.
