True, right?! They should be spending the money they spend now on stupid synthetic ads on these two instead. A lot of money for logos billboards etc could be used more effectively.
So many Bulgarians desperate to travel to Greece for their summer holiday, instead of supporting their local communities. As you can see, there are so many beautiful places in Bulgaria to visit. In fact even though I live abroad, Bulgaria is my favourite destination for holidays.
@@ChadandJamal Sad to see that so many Bulgarians who call themselves "patriots" don't seem to care about the thousands of Bulgarians who will be left without livelihoods this year. I can't wait to go back, and buy delicious healthy fruit and veg directly from producers :) And basically spend money at local family shops and restaurants whenever possible.
Ah, you make me so nostalgic. Last year me and my boyfriend were on Harmany beach, our hotel was 2 min from the see and we went for a walk every evening to the old town Sozopol. The food was so good, fresh and diverse. The see was Cristal clear and so beautiful.

You can safely apply working for the Ministry of Tourism or the UK Honorary Consul in Burgas :D P.S. That mussel salad drove you crazy but whilst in the coast, try the good old fish soup, you will be mesmerised.

Loads of jellies, fish, crab and shrimp this year. Was there last year and there weren't as many. Don't have any pictures of the huts but they were 30 levs per night. Unsure if they have a website but you can search camping smokyina and find their number to call (I don't have it atm as GF booked it).

Thanks for the kind words. We stayed there last week and loved it there! Went last year too and it was wonderful. I did get some footage of the inside of the bungalow so perhaps I'll upload that too but I'll be visiting Smokini again soon. Yep I agree haha she really is a cutie! Thanks again :D

You'll be fine. Bulgaria has done relatively well with the situation and providing you act rationally/keep your distance (there is plenty of space at the beaches this year) you'll be OK!

Because it's fun? I've stayed in fancy hotels to hostels to nice new airbnbs to these little cabins and I by far prefer cabins. Close to nature, right on the beach and a nice camping community. I used to camp a lot growing up and this sort of thing is perfect for me.

I was in Sozopol too this year. Never been there before and I loved it! So many nicebeaches around and the old town is gorgeous :)
