Long story short,....This was the last Steelers football game that my father witnessed during his passing.
My father loved two things on this planet, his family/children, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Luckily, we (all of his children) were at his bedside watching this very game, as he passed on in the third quarter. Honestly, you could not write a better (final) script, for such a great man.

There is a parallel universe where the Patriots don't cheat, the Steelers win that Super Bowl in Ben's rookie year and they just keep winning Super Bowls. If they didn't cheat and win their first Super Bowls they may not have won any. None of the talent that flowed there would have gone there in the absence of the first couple Super Bowls, when they KNEW THE OTHER TEAMS DEFENSIVE PLAYCALLS.

And it was the next week that the Spy gate game with the Patriots was played. The irony was that at the end of that game, Troy Polomalu said, "Its almost like they knew what we were going to do before we did". And he was right. It was a shame that was found to be an even bigger shame. The Steelers were better than the Patriots that year.

I knew from the age of 10 that the Steelers were a much better team and I always routed for the Steelers. That was 58 years s ago. My late husband and I moved to Arizona in 2008 and I got to watch my Pittsburgh Steelers win the Super Bowl against the Arizona Cardinals on February 1, 2009. My late husband was also a diehard Clowns fan so it’s sometimes got pretty ugly at our house but I was nearly always the happy one and he was always the one that was ticked off. You’re not alone.
