I love your channel whenever I get homesick for the places I barely lived and somehow still left my my heart up there - goodness do I miss the Columbia river, I was there on a weekly basis in Wenatchee, I had never seen crystal clear beautiful water like that before. Washington’s rivers made me much less grateful growing up with California’s polluted beaches that I once thought were soooo special 😅😅
At 2:07, and again at 2:24, you used footage of Number 2 Canyon Road in Wenatchee, near the Raquet and Tennis Club, while claiming it was Sunnyslope. Just thought your audience would like to know what they're looking at. I would also like to point out that Sunnyslope is North by Northwest of Wenatchee, not to its West.
Because Sunnyslope is on the northern side of the Wenatchee river valley it's south facing structures see more sunshine, hence the name. However the downside is at the higher elevations the winds can be rather fierce, especially in the Spring and the Fall. All of the more rural neighborhoods in Wenatchee also face the prospect of destructive wildfires. We almost lost our home a couple of years ago. Overall though it's hard to beat the quality of life here, though I suspect that will deteriorate as the number of democrats increase.
