It’s Seth! it’s him! “ Apollo decided to fly to the krill and use his power ( his special power is fast Change touch) to heal Seth and bring him home, Seth turn back to normal but it’s not Seth anymore it destroyed Apollo’s red candle(the Heart) while he’s dying, Apollo saw the tear of sadness from Seth he know the real Seth is still there somewhere, waiting for someone to rescue Solaris trying to save his brother, but it’s no use without the Heart, Apollo completely turned into the stone and shattered after hitting the ground Solaris now full of anger Seth a bit surprised but that’s make him satisfied and start laughing.... and yes, there’s part 2! but it’s not finish yet hope you enjoy ✨ don’t forget to follow me on Instagram @starmybunny.sky for some updates, more story and art! I’VE JUST REALIZED SOMETHING AFTER WATCHING THIS MULTIPLE TIMES All of the Skykids have white star pupils at the beginning (excluding Seth, because, well, he’s a krill). Seth, in the flashbacks, has white star pupils as well, until he becomes distressed over Solaris not liking him back. In that very frame, you can see them become black pupils. Later on, when Seth is taken out of the krill form by Apollo, you can see that his eyes are still black pupils as he rips apart Apollo’s candle and as he laughs at Solaris. (Note that Apollo has white star pupils throughout the entire animatic, likely because he holds no animosity towards Seth, even as he’s dying. It’s really sweet and sad.) Meanwhile, Solaris also has white pupils for the entirety of the animatic, UNTIL he last frame, after Apollo dies; Solaris glares up at Seth with black pupils. So the black and white pupils represent corruption and purity respectively, with black pupils representing negative emotion and white representing positive. It’s very symbolic and it’s a really cool detail to look into. Awesome job and awesome art!
I don't think he actually wanted to do it because when the moment his eyes turn red he has more of a shocked and panicked expression rather than a malicious one. But it could just be me wanting to think that Seth is still good deep down and still loves Solaris :')

I suppose it could make sense. The kril are creatures of darkness, and skykids are creatures of light. If light was given to a kril, or taken away from a sky kid, it could be explained how they could transform between the two.
I’m so late to this but 03:02 to 03:13 hits me hard not just because of the flashback, but because Solaris is shown jumping towards Apollo to be caught by him (he felt scared, poor baby ;-; ), and the fact that scene is immediately followed by Solaris catching Apollo’s stone turned body just. Makes me feel so many things because their roles are reversed hhhhhh ;-;
I LOVE THIS!! I always dreamt of making an animatic where a sky kid is jealous of someone so much that they become “corrupted” like the plants in hidden forest and turn into a krill, which would explain why they hate sky kids so much, it’s because they where once one of them who where treated horribly.
