That last moment when she yells at him that he could have come for her... You can hear the pain in her voice from all that suffering she endured, the anger she feels that he didn't save her, that he didn't even given her a sign that he was okay. Emily VanCamp deserves an Emmy for this powerful scene.
I thought they both had a great perfomance in this scene. Just look at his eyes so much shock and then relief when he realized she's his daughter and she's alive. Great show!
when I find out that David is alive I was thinking that it's a worst idea they can come up with and I wasn't sure when I watched the beginning of this season... But this seance blew me away.... Emily was amazing, and it wasn't feel like a bad idea any more, to see all of the earlier episodes just to see this moment.... I just can't stop watching it. I don't think I rewatch any of revenge seance so many times before.... What a fantastic performance from Emily.... I hope my mistakes don't make it impossible to understand my thoughts, English is not my first language
4 years ago i made a choice between starting to watch OUAT or Revenge (didn't have time for both) and i chose Revenge because of this amazing actress i loved in brothers and sisters.4 years later, countless priceless Emily Van camp facial expression, hundreds of OMG moments,a lot of tears,a lot of "you go girl" moments i am glad i decided to start Revenge. This scene was so worth everything. And EVC is a phenomenal actress!!
i watched both shoes and no offense to Isadora, OUAT does not have the amazingness of Revenge....I quit midway through season 3, and Revenge is just getting wayyyyyyyyy better
dena81 haha didn't want to start a debate^^ I actually catch up on OUAT at some point and watched the first two seasons in two weeks :) OUAT is a great show that really reminds me of my childhood and i love that about it.Revenge and OUAT are really not in the same genre but both are great shows IMO :)
I watched this clip so many times. Haha. But I did like the scene with Daniel. Lol. He's still smitten with her. I think he's more impressed than he is angry with her.
Emily VanCamp is a genius ❤ she's one of the best actresses I've ever seen. I've watched this tv series recently and I can't imagine my life without it. Ems I love you ❤❤❤
Has to ruin everything. Why couldn't you have just looked at your car ( i know that wasn't going to happen) but knowing her she probably would've touched it anyways
The last season was the worst especially because it was mostly boring because of Victoria was again the enemy, she should have still locked up and never been released or escaped Malcolm black threat should have been bigger instead that small, Emily should have killed him in hand to hand combat. While in episode 10 she should have told who she really is, and everyone she destroyed on and off screen including people who weren't here vendetta should have come for her, Margo or how her name was shouldn't have lost her unborn child Charlotte should have been visited by Emily and David while she was in reha. Ashley should have come back and apologize and forgive Emily Emily should reveal that she is pregnant and she wasn't sterilized, Nolan faked it and didn't had the chance to Tell her and forgot it later
True. That's probably going to be the reason he stays with Victoria and shuns Emily next episode (least i hope, he cannot still be so stupid to believe Vic after this).
TTUploads I dont think so she is in coma. How can she have an infleunce while she is in a coma..David is just stupidly in love with Volictoria. But I hope he proves me wrong...
I will just say that that Victoria getting randomly electrocuted ruined it. Came out of nowhere. Guess it was the Universe's way of keeping her from running away from her many many (x infinity) lies.
it's either the actor who plays david clarke is a really crappy actor, incapable of showing emotion, or something is way off with him...all his emotions seem... not fake, but just weird, he sort of looks dumb or sick or something. I had to look it up on google to make sure it's even the same guy that we see in flashbacks. He's so different.
yeah if you compare it to the arrow this guy has way better acting to convey a hurt lost and confused man who's just come back into society. I have a feeling around amanda he may be completely different, since this is a facade to hide what he has actually been up to all these years.
I see your point but I think he plays the dumbstruck role quite well... Plus much like Amanda, he's gone through significant change after all those years. Neither of them are the same person that they were in the flashback. Just wish Victoria hadn't been an attention seeker after this scene.
It's one of the most talented actress I've ever seen! So impressive! Poor Emily, she went through a lot. I can imagine her feelings, her father didn't come for her, he had opportunity to find her, but he didn't and trust this bitch Victoria... but i can't understand, how he didn't recognize her when he saw her for the first time? she was 6, when he got in prison, she still has a common facial features...
Sorry, I was late to reply this. David was under influence of Victoria at that time, she told him that "Amanda" died on the boat of fire and she also told him that he made Nolan responsible to make Amanda as a stripper and Emily Thorne ruined her family. The fact he couldn't recognize his daughter whom he spent around 6-8 years in her life is a total Bs while he can recognize Charlotte even when he just met her since she was a baby. Also, he trusted a woman who abandoned him over a daughter and a business partner whom he trusted.
It was a good scene but I think the reveal deserved more than 46 seconds. It should have been more emotional than that after 12 years (I think) apart and Amanda thinking he was dead, and then David thinking Amanda was dead. I hope they filmed more in this scene and release it on dvd or something.
i love that he finally knows, but I wondered if Victoria had something to do with them pictures, and set Emily up knowing she would get upset, and reveal her true identity
I think Victoria did have something to do with the photos, her electrocution, Emily revealing who she really is, etc. Did you see that evil smile she had when Emily walked in? It's a set up for David and Emily/Amanda. To see if David will choose Emily or her. But Emily has Jack, Nolan and Charlotte (on a good day). So I guess we'll see what happens next.
mibarra122 that's funny because I thought the same about seeing would thing, david choose her over his daughter when I seen the electrocution, and how he helped her.
***** yeah i know but she did turn her back on Victoria. Charlotte has her good points but she just doesn't have anyone to help her anymore. Declan helped her and even Jack wanted to help her but she's so used to the Grayson mindset, its doubtful that she will ever recover and go back to season 1 Charlotte.
mzcompletelycareless yeah i agree. David chose Victoria but I mean she got electrocuted, kind of an emergency. Lol. But again this season is about Victoria going after Emily which is going to backfire I think. I really think David is going to screw over Victoria.
mibarra122 I hope like hell it bakcfires especially after what happen with Victoria setting up Emily in 4x09. Emily or someone will find out what she did, and the devestation when she realize that she really is alone. Lmao
How can he be cuddled up with that witch knowing she locked his child up in a mental institution against her will for being honest about his innocence?
Not even a damn hug. They set this up so well and ended up ruining it by focusing on Victoria at the end! THE most emotionally set up scene in this whole series deserved at least 5 more damn* seconds!
I don't know why... but I hate David Clarke, such an annoying character, I mean even after everything Victoria has put Amanda through, he still wants to be with Vicky, and for that he almost chose her above Amanda.. It was nicer when he was dead, then you could see him as this amazing father and man, who didn't deserve all the crap he got, but EVC was amazing in this scene hands down !!! I never stopped loving Amanda Clarke aka Emily thorne♡♡♡
I agree he was just so still enamored with Victoria that he was blinded. But yes he annoyed me by taking Victoria side when Amanda told the truth. I think also it’s because he was still stuck on the love that him and Victoria had before he was arrested.
I loved this show!! Being a huge fan of the 19th-century novel it was based on ("The Count of Monte Cristo") and of course, the awesome 2002 'The Count of Monte Cristo' movie starring Jim Caviezel, made this modern adaptation even more appealing.
love it love it love it! by far one of teh best serials of the decade alongside the likes of prison break...brilliant storyline with great acting ....hope it stays this good.
THANKS for posting this. I really needed to see this scene again. However, don't be fooled, around 90% of your 24,000 views is me. ;) Until this season, I never knew how much I needed this reunion. Now that it has happen, my feels are everywhere. I need the next episode pronto but the promo worries me. Oh David don't mess this up! By the way, what is the tune playing during the revelation? You know, so I can put it on my iPod and remember.
Someone wanna tell me why the actual fuck Victoria wasn’t worried about Emily telling David everything she did to both him and his little girl?! I just don’t get it one damn bit. I’d fake my death and get the hell outta there if I was Victoria.
The song is a revenge original soundtrack song called "Emptiness 2.0" RUclips "Revenge Soundtrack" and it should come up! The song was used earlier in season 2 in a scene with Amanda, Jack and Emily so I was glad to see they used it again!!!
Tbh: His acting isn't that bad. He may suck at being sad. But most guys don't show emotions. I hope he pretends to care about Victoria. I hope he kills her like he killed Conrad. He said, that he won't go anywhere without *Emily/Amanda* and now Victoria is setting her up in the next episode. I hope Jack wakes up and realize the girl he screwed is trying to kill his Emily/Amanda. Wonder who will save her between (Jack, Ben or Nolan or her dad) or maybe Victoria was the one who set her up, but also would atonement for her sins. She'll rescue Emily/Amanda for David's sake.
I cry everytime she says " you could've come for me,but you didnt."
"Victoria get the hell out!" Is the sexiest line ever on Revenge
4 years in the making. This scene right here has proven how much of a great actress Emily VanCamp is :)
Really great acting and writing. Emily VanCamp is a great narrator as well as actor.
She is talented like actress she is good at acting I love her

David said he isn't marry you Amanda so get it through your head. And he said you are doing this all to me and wishes you would stop.
That last moment when she yells at him that he could have come for her... You can hear the pain in her voice from all that suffering she endured, the anger she feels that he didn't save her, that he didn't even given her a sign that he was okay. Ladies and gentlemen, Emily VanCamp
My exact thoughts!!!
Emily is an amazing actress! I love this scene
This scene still gives me chills. Emily killed it!
I was so happy that they finally reunited! I thought they were gonna drag this reunion until the season finale.
This is my FAVORITE scene of the entire series. It's over and I still watch this clip and get chills.
I thought they both had a great perfomance in this scene. Just look at his eyes so much shock and then relief when he realized she's his daughter and she's alive. Great show!
This moment, especially with the music, literally gives me chills even upon rewatching.
when I find out that David is alive I was thinking that it's a worst idea they can come up with and I wasn't sure when I watched the beginning of this season... But this seance blew me away.... amazing job by Emily Vancamp!! she had me in tears!! love her
Emmy worthy.
I've rewatched this scene so many times but it still makes me teary eyed, lol. Probably one of my favourite tv show moments ever.
I really like the background music used in this scene. It gets the tears streaming.
Emily's acting is incredible omg!!!
Damn I keep rewatching this scene! Emily VanCamp is spectacular!
One of the most expected Moments of the Season. Simply moving deep.
Ever since Everwood I've loved this actress. So glad she got her own show even if it ends after this season.
I watched this clip so many times. Haha. But I did like the scene with Daniel. Lol. He's still smitten with her. I think he's more impressed than he is angry with her.
the way she says you could have come for me but you didn't.... :'(
Emily VanCamp is a genius ❤ she's one of the best actresses I've ever seen. I've watched this tv series recently and I can't imagine my life without it. Ems I love you ❤❤❤
I CANT STOP WATCHING THIS OMG
GIVE EMILY AN OSCAR RIGHT NOW
just to let you know. I think i broke your replay button.
Best scene in the series... amazing performance! I cry everytime.
I always cry like a baby on this scene.
Original A so do I 😭😭😭
Ugh and then Victoria had to go and ruin everything.
Typical of Victoria.
JackLivesTogether lol she could't help it
lol
Has to ruin everything. Why couldn't you have just looked at your car ( i know that wasn't going to happen) but knowing her she probably would've touched it anyways

Malcolm black threat should have been bigger instead that small, Emily should have killed him in hand to hand combat.
While in episode 10 she should have told who she really is, and everyone she destroyed on and off screen including people who weren't here vendetta should have come for her,
Margo or how her name was shouldn't have lost her unborn child
Charlotte should have been visited by Emily and David while she was in reha.
Ashley should have come back and apologize and forgive Emily
Emily should reveal that she is pregnant and she wasn't sterilized, Nolan faked it and didn't had the chance to Tell her and forgot it later
And now Victoria has a leverage against David because David is so stupid by telling her that he killed Conrad.
Emily did such good acting in this scene, so emotional
ahhhhh this scene makes me cry everytime!! emily rarely shows real emotion and here she's finally letting herself be vulnerable.
Can't stop crying love the end
Haven't watch the show in so long and I thought I won't have felt this as hard but now I'm crying again
I will just say that that Victoria getting randomly electrocuted ruined it. Came out of nowhere. Guess it was the Universe's way of keeping her from running away from her many many (x infinity) lies.
I may or may not have been sobbing when I was watching the ep
Omg I want this show to come back why did it have to end
A story like this one really can't be dragged out for more than a few season's. Great show.
Its the way she looks at him after he sees her tattoo its literally like seeing her as a child in the face
Anybody else think it's hysterical that once he knows it's her Vicky is just like "welp time to go...bye bitch"
Lmao I didnt knight until now lol thats funny
Still makes me cry

I see your point but I think he plays the dumbstruck role quite well... Plus much like Amanda, he's gone through significant change after all those years. Neither of them are the same person that they were in the flashback.
Just wish Victoria hadn't been an attention seeker after this scene.
I hear you. He seems like he had a partial Lobotomy done at some point.
Emily VanCamp- Beautiful acting :)

victoria even ruins the reunion by getting shocked, everything has to be about her. so excited to see how she's going to explain this to David.
I love her omg she's literally such an amazing actress
Gets me everytime!!!! Did anyone else feel empowered every take down emily had???
This was worth EVERYTHING that has happened in Revenge. Victoria deserves every bad thing to happen to her.
The acting, oh my... How I love this show!
Those 4 years were all worth it for this scene, so worth the wait.
Goosebumps, every time
David Clark was the worst thing happened to season 4
EMILY VAN CAMP IS SO FUCKING TALENTED
Gosh this scene I could watch over and over.. freaking vicky ruined it..
Omg same...duno how many times ive watched it...but the ending with victoria killed it! -_-
It was a good scene but I think the reveal deserved more than 46 seconds. It should have been more emotional than that after 12 years (I think) apart and Amanda thinking he was dead, and then David thinking Amanda was dead. I hope they filmed more in this scene and release it on dvd or something.
best episode ever i knew that once he saw the infinity tattoo on her wrist he would find out is amanda
I don't know why but I'm crying
ikr

what's is the name melody in the end ? It's so beautiful
The song is a revenge original soundtrack song called "Emptiness 2.0" RUclips "Revenge Soundtrack" and it should come up! The song was used earlier in season 2 in a scene with Amanda, Jack and Emily so I was glad to see they used it again!!!
Russell Phillip You just helped me end my long hard search for that song, thank you so much~ v.v
Russell Phillip THANKS YOU SO MUCH
Ugh, hardcore crying over here..
Poor Nolan though
i want the name of the sound playing in background
