Sir, we also that keep the Sabbath honor the resurrection by baptism. If the day was not important how come iit is the only commandment that starts with Remember?

When it comes to obedience to God, we have no idea what a blessing it is. I used to work at the bank, and it wasn't even the branch it was in operations and when we started we were working from Monday to Friday, then suddenly things changed and we had to work Saturday and Sunday about 3 weeks a month. I think I was in some strange slumber when it began or I took it lightly, didn't realize how much it would affect me and my daughter. I joined the church when my daughter was a few months. To cut a long story short, I noticed that my life was changing. First of all I LOVE MUSIC and man I love being in the house of God on sabbath. I said to myself, well I will just do my work and avoid anything else such as ordering lunch with colleagues or engaging in unfruitful conversations or rather idle talk. I will read the bible and the lesson during my lunch while eating my lunchbox. I did that but once I forgot it's the sabbath and I ordered. Slowly I would forget what day it is and realize later. I felt sick, missing church, hearing the word of God. I was miserable. I started being mean because I was extremely taxed and unhappy. I started praying to God asking for a new job. I prayed for 2 years and on the 3rd year I was already exhausted and said to God, ''If you don't help me find work that won't keep me from YOU on sabbath then I AM GOING TO QUIT THIS JOB AND YOU ARE GOING TO TAKE CARE OF MY DAUGHTER AND I.'' I only prayed this once and forgot about it. I prayed my normal prayers and nothing about work but my ordinary prayers were different. Every time I asked God to help me and guide me with the decisions of my life God answered and said ''Close that door first.'' He did not need to explain what He meant I understood and I don't know how but I was not afraid or worried. The day I resigned I did not leave my flat thinking about resigning, it never even crossed my mind. When I got to work I went into the company portal and resigned and stated in big caps WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT! It was so sudden my manager called me thinking I'd made a mistake and I told her no, no mistake I want my life back I can't do this anymore. That was 2017 and 4 years later I HAVE NEVER LACKED A THING AND IT SEEMED GOD WAS HAPPY THAT I'D OBEYED AND TRUSTED HIM BECAUSE ALL WE HAVE NEEDED HIS HAND FAITHFULLY PROVIDES. TO THIS DAY THAT IS ONE BRAVE THING I HAVE EVER DONE THAT MAKES ME SO PROUD OF MYSELF AND TRUSTING OF GOD. THATIS BY FAR THE BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE. MY COLLEAGUES ENVY ME, THEY STILL CALL ME AND TELL ME THEY WISH THEY WERE AS BRAVE AND COMPLAIN AND I JUST LISTEN BECAUSE THAT WAS NOT ME. THAT WAS GOD'S GRACE ALL THOSE YEARS I WAS PRAYING AND GOD SEEMED QUIET HE WAS PREPARING FOR THAT DECISION. LAST YEAR I WAS IN CHINA, ALL EXPENSES PAID, GOD'S PROVISION. THE THINGS GOD HAS DONE FOR ME SINCE THAT DECISION OH MY GOODNESS I DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN. THE DEVIL TRIED TO FIGHT ME, I HAVE BEEN THROUGH A LOT BUT GOD NEVER EVER LET ME DOWN. AS WE SPEAK I HAVE HEED THE CALL, I HAVE A SITE IN THE COUNTRY AND THIS COMING YEAR GOD WILLING I AM BUILDING MY HOUSE, IN THE COUNTRY WHERE I WILL HAVE LAND TO GROW MY OWN FOOD. It is good for SDA's and all Christians to be faithful to God in all the things that He has taught them. Do we see that we have learned more than others? Yes, but that is something to be thankful for and share with others, not lord over them. I recognize when I have been lacking and need to spend more time snuggling and appreciating my wife and talking with and investing in our children.

God has been faithful... I have been standing up for Sabbath at my company. I was ready to lose my job. But my company was not ready to lose me and praise God I work from Sundays to Thursdays since.

Thalia Rigg I Think everything we do for money is called labour then it is breaking the holy Sabbath .Unless we do volunteering to help needy people without getting paid then it is doing good deed for others. This is my only humble opinion sis.God bless
Honestly, I believe if you are working in the hospital, nursing homes, or home health care, anything that of assistance to the elderly or sick is not breaking God's comments. But it's good to ask pastor for better understanding because we could be wrong. I hope he answer you because I would like to know the answer to that too, Blessings 💕

i'm going to go with no. Jesus healed and cared for people on the Sabbath. He also said it was right to do good on the Sabbath. Pastor Doug said the same thing in this broadcast. Pastor Doug, I thank God always for the Amazing Facts ministry. It has been a blessing following up on what God has revealed to you and the team there in regards to the everlasting Gospel message that needs to be delivered to the world including the Sabbath truth. I am Spencer Noal from Vanuatu. You might forget people you met in Fiji when you came along with your wife in 2015. I would like to share about this Sabbath truth that has impacted my life. I studied to become an aircraft pilot in Fiji in the years of 2014 to 2015. Thank God I now have my commercial pilots license. But my story begins with something like this. God blessed me with a scholarship from the Vanuatu government. They would help to fund my studies in Fiji. The first day I set foot in Fiji and arrived at the flying school, I notified the Director of the school that I was a Seventh-day Adventist. She was a lady from the states. She responded immediately by saying that " I have alot of students here who are seventh day Adventists but are still willing to do their flight training on Saturdays" . I responded that " I am different and prefer not to fly on Saturday's. And if you don't respect me in regards to my religious convictions then I will have to book my flight back to Vanuatu. My religion (Sabbath) is what makes me who I am today." She looked at me and was quite surprised at what I said. My second condition is this " I will have to leave the school premises 3pm every Friday afternoon to go prepare for Sabbath". She enquired about the Sabbath keeping and I told her Sabbath begins Friday evening and ends Saturday sundown. To cut the long story short, she agreed to my conditions and after that I could positively say that it has been nothing else but peace and blessings upon blessings. Every Friday afternoon at 3pm I was the only one who was allowed to leave the school premises and everyone basically know that it was because Sabbath was arriving. This was my routine for the rest of my time in Fiji. God is good my friends. Just a short testimony on this. I sat for all my Commercial pilots theory exams and passed them at every FIRST sitting and NEVER re-sat for any of those exams. As I recalled back I now realized one thing "There is no failure on the part of God when His dear children try, by the grace of God, to obey his commandments including the Sabbath command". I came back to Vanuatu and went for an interview with one local air operator (in 2018) for the position of captain on the Britain Norman Islander (BN2). I was successful but had to turn down that opportunity because they wanted me to fly on Sabbaths as well. I applied for the same position with another air operator here. I was successful again but had to turn down that opportunity again because of the Sabbath truth. Some say I was foolish in turning down some life time opportunities. But what matters to me now is God's eternal principles. While on that note I would like to emphasize on one important principal relating to defending or standing up for God and His principles. And that is " the first time you and I defend or stand up for the truth, the second time it will be easier to stand up for the truth. And vice versa". Now am jobless in Vanuatu but that atmosphere of joblessness is being compensated by marvelous blessings that I have never dreamt will one day be coming my way. Friends, if you are at the cross road of deciding whether or not to obey God's commandments including keeping His Holy Sabbath, then do the right thing by choosing his way - keep His law including the Sabbath. You will always be on the safe side of things. Of course Satan will not be happy with your decision. But by the grace of God and the power of His Holy Spirit you can conquer any thing of the darkness of this world and live life to the fullest with Jesus our Saviour. God bless you all.

Hi Pastor Doug, thank you for the seminar classes as it inspires me to continue in the word of GOD. I have a question, in the Bible Exodus 12:16 And in the first day there shall be an Holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an Holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you. Is this apply only during Passover? To celebrate and keep Holy and assemble Saturday and Sunday or is it for the rest of the year? I was going to church on Sundays when I was part of the Catholic religion but when I got to know the Lord and became a born again Christian then I started to keep the sabbath which is the Saturday but also the Sunday. So I basically attend assembly both days but I do start the sabbath on the eve or Friday until the eve of Saturday. Could it be that that is why some preachers assembly Sundays and not Saturdays? On my second fasting. And prayer I asked GOD Almighty Father to reveal to me which day to assembly and I was led to this chapter of the Bible and this verse. The way you Dug said Thursday to Friday was ambiguous. Having checked Wikipedia I think this is how it should have been said. "Thursday the 4th October was followed by Friday the 15th"
Jesus blessed and Washed the Feet because they have a very long Journey ahead of them, lasting up to 1260 AD...towards the 7000 islands...our Journey to Comeout of Babylon is around 762 years!.
What you talking about ? Doesn't make sense to me. Jesus washed the feet of the disciples as an example to us to humble ourselves as he did. Where did you get the 1260 years from? Did it come from Daniel and the prophecy of the woman that fled into the wilderness for a times and a time and half a time or 1260 years, if it is then you are incorrect about the date because that prophecy ended in 1798 AD, not in 1260 AD, lasted from 538 Ad to 1798 Ad.. And where does the 7000 islands come from? And where do you get that to come out of Babylon is 762 years?

If God's commandment is to keep the Sabbath, then is it really right for us to keep worshiping him in churches on Sunday? I am confused as to this and I need some one to answer me. Can you do a revelation series where you guys explain Revelation verse by verse or chapter by chapter. There is a blessing for those who keep the words of this book, but in order to keep the words of the book, one needs to understand the words of the book. This book is very cryptic or symbolic and one cannot take this book at face value, one needs to understand this book verse by verse or chapter by chapter. Please do this. God bless you Doug.
Doug, What's the problem with telling the truth about who changed the Sabbath. Which by the way was a prophecy given in the Bible which you say you preach. Which is true?
Sorry you must have mis understood him because he does teach who changed the Sabbath, and he teachers that it was the Roman Catholic church who changed the sabbath for Saturday to sun day. He may not teach that the RCC changed it to appease the Pagans they were trying to get to join their church, because the Pagans already worshiped on the venerable day of the sun, but I do teach that, and it was introduced into the other sun day churches by the RCC.
Even beavers keep the Sabbath...I seen a study a video study a man recorded the beavers playing and working every day...except the Sabbath. I can't remember how long the study went for but it proved that those beavers did rest on Saturday the Sabbath

Yes but what you eat tells you who you are listening to , man or God and who you listens dictate what you eat clean or unclean foods. You know God had a good reason why He told us not to eat certain foods because He knows what foods are good for you and what foods will make you sick. He didn't tell us this just to show his power over us.

I have a few words of encouragement in the midst of what's going on. It might sound wierd, but it is for real and I thought that it would be important to say it. Its long because I've tried to and any faqs! Hopefully this will answer some of those nagging questions - Why can't evil be forgiven and let off, how is the whole "Jesus dying" thing really relevant to anything? To you? if you still have any questions let me know x Do you ever struggle? Or doubt that God Loves You After what you've done? Do you wonder if He even exists for that matter? Read this: Every one of us have lied, stolen (even tiny things count as stealing), spoken badly to our parents and had embarrassing and detestable thoughts in our thought life. The Bible calls this "sin", the breaking of God's laws. You might think, so what? Everyone lies and thinks bad things about others! Its human! You're right. That's exactly what the Bible says, we're "born into sin" and that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23 What is that "glory", morally speaking? Well, the opposite of human nature and desires. Not lying, not stealing, and having a perfect thought life is God's standard for us. But if its God's standard and we were made in "God's image", Why don't we meet it? Well, Remember Adam and Eve and when they sinned. Before sin they were perfect in thought word and DEED completely, but after the first sin occured due to Satan's tempting in the Garden, it destroyed that part of us that was morally perfect and in perfect harmony with God's morals, standard, and love. So while we kept certain things, the ability to be thinking individuals with unique personalities, the moral part (affecting how our thoughts, actions and personalities operate) was damaged. To the point where we are "opposed" to God, hence His nature and standards being the opposite of what we see as reasonable or possible. The Bible even makes it clear that "apart from God you can do nothing" - John 15:5. Without Him, it will 100% feel "opposite", unreasonable and alien to us. Only WITH Him can we gain victory in these things. Why doesn't God just let sin off and leave it? The Bible describes God as a "righteous judge", many wonder why God doesn't just let sin off and leave it, but He can't. Why? That's like a if a judge let off a murderer who broke the state law. Everyone would attack that judge and call Him corrupt, saying that he had not done right and should be fired for failing to punish the murderer for his evil. AND to completely love and be good as God is, means you need to, in turn, hate all forms of evil. You can't truly love good unless you hate the existence of evil. This means that God needed, as a righteous judge to punish sin with the ultimate penalty of death - expressing His hatred of evil - and separation from His presence forever. Hence Hell. "The soul that sins shall die (in Hell and suffer damnation)" - Ezekiel 18:20 But God, who is also love, did not want to see His creation tortured and cut off from Him. He cares so much for is that He couldn't bear to see us fall into Satans hands and suffer death, even though we broke the law and deserve to bear the guilt, pain and be cut off from perfection forever through damnation. Because of justice, God could not leave sin and evil unpunished, BUT because of LOVE, God provided someone else to take that punishment on our behalf, satisfying both justice (by punishing the evil committed), and love (by sparing OUR lives) despite our sin. God sent His own SON - think about that. His *Son*, the one whom He loved infinitely (the same way He loves us). God allowed Him to take the pain we deserved, He took ALL of Gods wrath for every single sin you and I have committed. He was punished brutally and completely as if He was the picture of mankind's sin itself so that we do not have to be punished. Back in the courtroom scenario: He paid the "fine" at His own expense (His life had to be morally perfect on this Earth, then He had to be killed as a sinless sacrifice on our behalf). So when He returns to remove all evil from the face of the Earth, we can be spared and free because Christ has already BEEN punished on our behalf. He then rose again on the third day, conquering not only life and sin and temptation, but DEATH. "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live (immortally and eternally in Heaven when I return)" - John 11:25,26 ALL we have to do is accept it by faith. Faith alone in Christ alone. Religion = rules to be saved The gospel = Christ saved us already we just have to believe it by faith. If you lack faith (as I did before), pray. He will make it strong it time. Trust Him as you would trust those close to you. He knows you even better than that. He created you and knows you inside out. ...WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? What does it actually mean for us? It means we can be completely free from the penalty of damnation. Not only that but we can be restored to Him and recreated into His moral image AGAIN as long as we accept Jesus having paid the price for us and accept Him as our Lord, the one who is in the front seat of our lives. He has a plan for your life, He's created you for a purpose. Just remember that. A purpose that includes being recreated into His image, one you can only accomplish through Him and reliance on His power and by following HIS way of life. What does this new way of life entail? It entails love, true love and service and aid to others, to "love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength" and "love your neighbour as you love yourself" Matthew 22:37, 39. Sharing the message of Christ's death, resurrection and soon return on this Earth to give justice OR mercy depending on what the person chose. Sound "opposite" again? God knows it sounds opposite, which is why, as The Bible states, this is NOT something we can do alone. It's not in our nature. We need a new nature in the front seat, and the first step is to repent (turn from and reject our sin, pursuing the opposite direction and drawing close to God) Christ will give us an actual DESIRE to do these things. Through the Holy Spirit, sent by Him to us after the ascension. He speaks to us through thoughts of love and truth and conviction, verses, ideas, prayers and He guides us so that we gain a desire to follow God and be able to do these "opposite" things through Him. "With man it is impossible, but with God, NOTHING is impossible!" - Matthew 19:26 What is the way FOR though? Firstly its to save you from sin - the only way to gain victory over sin and not have it as your master is through having Christ as your master and following His aid to resist the devil's temptations. Christ lived down here for 33 years suffering EVERY FORM of temptation that you have ever faced - "who in every respect [has] been tempted as we are, yet without sin" Hebrews 4:15. Therefore He is able to help us through our struggles. When the devil knows people have left his camp, he always tries harder with more temptations and evil attacks. BUT - His way is also there to guard and teach you daily in the midst of this (and despite this) sinful, selfish world. The path He wants you to walk is a path of committment and love - its not about rules and regulations to save us - what Christ did GAVE us salvation. All we need is faith. The rest, the "fruits of good works (the will to obey and follow Him)", are what come through true, maturing faith. It's all about faith and the relationship God wants with you just like before sin arrived. God preferred His own Son to be tortured And *killed* to give a chance to us (who broke His law of perfection) so that we can live as His children again. He wants us to love and trust and worship Him. What if I still find myself sinning after I have accepted Christ? That's why Christ died, For our sin. His death doesn't fix us in a snap like that, but it does protect us from the damnation that our past, present and future sins would bring without Jesus. It's a process - a lifelong process - of God bringing you back to Him, away from the destructive pleasures of sin (greed, selfish temptations, trampling on people to gain). This process takes a *lifetime*, as it does for all, but NEVER give up, when you fall, know Christ paid for that sin you committed already - just acknowledge your sin and ask for forgiveness - and you can get back up again because He already bore your guilt and shame. Regardless of the darkness you are in or the extent or frequency of the sins you have committed or will commit, regardless of how doubtful you may feel, know that Jesus UNDERSTANDS completely and He is faithful. "those who come to Me, I will by no means cast out" - John 6:37 ...HOW DO I LEARN MORE? Don't know where to start? Note down the Gospel of "John", or "Luke" (if you want a more detailed account of it all). Remember that He will "NEVER - and that means never - leave you, NOR forsake you" - Deuteronomy 31:6 Regardless of what goes on down here, God knows, Jesus has been down here and felt all the emotions you are feeling. You can go to Him with them and be assured that He loves you and is for you. Even in the storm, God is still there, walking on the water alongside you! Keep your heart open to Him and remember that if we pray for Christ to enter our lives, He will. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only begotten Son, that whomever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life". - John 3:16 Thanks for reading if you did. REST: In the late 1960s people were living to be age 70 and proud of it. We had a Psych prof at Cal Lu ( then College) who was sure that any more than 4 hours' sleep was a terrible, SINFUL waste of time. He died at age 35, half of age 70, leaving a young wife and some young sons. Half his rest:: half his lifespan.

Unless the house is built by God we labor in vain.
The Bible also says that Jesus was gone from the tomb before they came to the tomb which to me says he might of raised at the end of the Saturday sabath before the beginning of the first day Sunday. Easter Friday is not biblical and the Bible says there was two sabaths at that time, a high day feast of unleavened bread and then a Saturday sabath. In Luke 23 vs 53 to Luke 24 vs 3. The feast go by the days following a new moon which has nothing to do with the catholic tradition. The day of first fruits talks about Jesus being the first fruits of many not meaning a day he rose but the beginning a something new. You talk about not following tradition yet you follow Easter which is not biblical and is tradition.
God sent his only son to die for us. Why would we willfully choose evil over Good. We can stumble if we keep close to God he will take our hand before we fall. Holy Holy Holy is the lord Jesus Christ. Love. Him because he love us. He is our Father let us love and respect Him. Amen!!!!

When it comes to obedience to God, we have no idea what a blessing it is. I used to work at the bank, and it wasn't even the branch it was in operations and when we started we were working from Monday to Friday, then suddenly things changed and we had to work Saturday and Sunday about 3 weeks a month. I think I was in some strange slumber when it began or I took it lightly, didn't realize how much it would affect me and my daughter. I joined the church when my daughter was a few months. To cut a long story short, I noticed that my life was changing. First of all I LOVE MUSIC and man I love being in the house of God on sabbath. I said to myself, well I will just do my work and avoid anything else such as ordering lunch with colleagues or engaging in unfruitful conversations or rather idle talk. I will read the bible and the lesson during my lunch while eating my lunchbox. I did that but once I forgot it's the sabbath and I ordered. Slowly I would forget what day it is and realize later. I felt sick, missing church, hearing the word of God. I was miserable. I started being mean because I was extremely taxed and unhappy. I started praying to God asking for a new job. I prayed for 2 years and on the 3rd year I was already exhausted and said to God, ''If you don't help me find work that won't keep me from YOU on sabbath then I AM GOING TO QUIT THIS JOB AND YOU ARE GOING TO TAKE CARE OF MY DAUGHTER AND I.'' I only prayed this once and forgot about it. I prayed my normal prayers and nothing about work but my ordinary prayers were different. Every time I asked God to help me and guide me with the decisions of my life God answered and said ''Close that door first.'' He did not need to explain what He meant I understood and I don't know how but I was not afraid or worried. The day I resigned I did not leave my flat thinking about resigning, it never even crossed my mind. When I got to work I went into the company portal and resigned and stated in big caps WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT! It was so sudden my manager called me thinking I'd made a mistake and I told her no, no mistake I want my life back I can't do this anymore. That was 2017 and 4 years later I HAVE NEVER LACKED A THING AND IT SEEMED GOD WAS HAPPY THAT I'D OBEYED AND TRUSTED HIM BECAUSE ALL WE HAVE NEEDED HIS HAND FAITHFULLY PROVIDES. TO THIS DAY THAT IS ONE BRAVE THING I HAVE EVER DONE THAT MAKES ME SO PROUD OF MYSELF AND TRUSTING OF GOD. THATIS BY FAR THE BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE. MY COLLEAGUES ENVY ME, THEY STILL CALL ME AND TELL ME THEY WISH THEY WERE AS BRAVE AND COMPLAIN AND I JUST LISTEN BECAUSE THAT WAS NOT ME. THAT WAS GOD'S GRACE ALL THOSE YEARS I WAS PRAYING AND GOD SEEMED QUIET HE WAS PREPARING FOR THAT DECISION. LAST YEAR I WAS IN CHINA, ALL EXPENSES PAID, GOD'S PROVISION. THE THINGS GOD HAS DONE FOR ME SINCE THAT DECISION OH MY GOODNESS I DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN. THE DEVIL TRIED TO FIGHT ME, I HAVE BEEN THROUGH A LOT BUT GOD NEVER EVER LET ME DOWN. AS WE SPEAK I HAVE HEED THE CALL, I HAVE A SITE IN THE COUNTRY AND THIS COMING YEAR GOD WILLING I AM BUILDING MY HOUSE, IN THE COUNTRY WHERE I WILL HAVE LAND TO GROW MY OWN FOOD. I asked a Messianic rabbi about Sabbath keeping and Sunday. He said, Keep the Sabbath Holy and go ahead and go to a Sunday service if you choose.
It is good for SDA's and all Christians to be faithful to God in all the things that He has taught them. Do we see that we have learned more than others? Yes, but that is something to be thankful for and share with others, not lord over them. I recognize when I have been lacking and need to spend more time snuggling and appreciating my wife and talking with and investing in our children.

I thank God always for the Amazing Facts ministry. It has been a blessing following up on what God has revealed to you and the team there in regards to the everlasting Gospel message that needs to be delivered to the world including the Sabbath truth. I am Spencer Noal from Vanuatu. You might forget people you met in Fiji when you came along with your wife in 2015. I would like to share about this Sabbath truth that has impacted my life. I studied to become an aircraft pilot in Fiji in the years of 2014 to 2015. Thank God I now have my commercial pilots license. But my story begins with something like this. God blessed me with a scholarship from the Vanuatu government. They would help to fund my studies in Fiji. The first day I set foot in Fiji and arrived at the flying school, I notified the Director of the school that I was a Seventh-day Adventist. She was a lady from the states. She responded immediately by saying that " I have alot of students here who are seventh day Adventists but are still willing to do their flight training on Saturdays" . I responded that " I am different and prefer not to fly on Saturday's. And if you don't respect me in regards to my religious convictions then I will have to book my flight back to Vanuatu. My religion (Sabbath) is what makes me who I am today." She looked at me and was quite surprised at what I said. My second condition is this " I will have to leave the school premises 3pm every Friday afternoon to go prepare for Sabbath". She enquired about the Sabbath keeping and I told her Sabbath begins Friday evening and ends Saturday sundown. To cut the long story short, she agreed to my conditions and after that I could positively say that it has been nothing else but peace and blessings upon blessings. Every Friday afternoon at 3pm I was the only one who was allowed to leave the school premises and everyone basically know that it was because Sabbath was arriving. This was my routine for the rest of my time in Fiji. God is good my friends. Just a short testimony on this. I sat for all my Commercial pilots theory exams and passed them at every FIRST sitting and NEVER re-sat for any of those exams. As I recalled back I now realized one thing "There is no failure on the part of God when His dear children try, by the grace of God, to obey his commandments including the Sabbath command". I came back to Vanuatu and went for an interview with one local air operator (in 2018) for the position of captain on the Britain Norman Islander (BN2). I was successful but had to turn down that opportunity because they wanted me to fly on Sabbaths as well. I applied for the same position with another air operator here. I was successful again but had to turn down that opportunity again because of the Sabbath truth. Some say I was foolish in turning down some life time opportunities. But what matters to me now is God's eternal principles. While on that note I would like to emphasize on one important principal relating to defending or standing up for God and His principles. And that is " the first time you and I defend or stand up for the truth, the second time it will be easier to stand up for the truth. And vice versa". Now am jobless in Vanuatu but that atmosphere of joblessness is being compensated by marvelous blessings that I have never dreamt will one day be coming my way. Friends, if you are at the cross road of deciding whether or not to obey God's commandments including keeping His Holy Sabbath, then do the right thing by choosing his way - keep His law including the Sabbath. You will always be on the safe side of things. Of course Satan will not be happy with your decision. But by the grace of God and the power of His Holy Spirit you can conquer any thing of the darkness of this world and live life to the fullest with Jesus our Saviour. God bless you all.

Be brave dear one! Maybe put on ad in the newspaper or a bumper sticker on your car... pray and God will unite you with fellow believers. Go door to door to pass out Great Controversy or whatever the Lord impresses you to do. Seek and ye shall find! The Lord wants us to fellowship with fellow believers to strengthen and encourage one another. May the Lord Bless YOU! I will pray for you!

Hi Pastor Doug, thank you for the seminar classes as it inspires me to continue in the word of GOD.
I have a question, in the Bible Exodus 12:16
And in the first day there shall be an Holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an Holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.
Is this apply only during Passover? To celebrate and keep Holy and assemble Saturday and Sunday or is it for the rest of the year? I was going to church on Sundays when I was part of the Catholic religion but when I got to know the Lord and became a born again Christian then I started to keep the sabbath which is the Saturday but also the Sunday. So I basically attend assembly both days but I do start the sabbath on the eve or Friday until the eve of Saturday.
Could it be that that is why some preachers assembly Sundays and not Saturdays?
On my second fasting. And prayer I asked GOD Almighty Father to reveal to me which day to assembly and I was led to this chapter of the Bible and this verse.

What's the problem with telling the truth about who changed the Sabbath. Which by the way was a prophecy given in the Bible which you say you preach. Which is true?
Sorry you must have mis understood him because he does teach who changed the Sabbath, and he teachers that it was the Roman Catholic church who changed the sabbath for Saturday to sun day. He may not teach that the RCC changed it to appease the Pagans they were trying to get to join their church, because the Pagans already worshiped on the venerable day of the sun, but I do teach that, and it was introduced into the other sun day churches by the RCC.

You know God had a good reason why He told us not to eat certain foods because He knows what foods are good for you and what foods will make you sick. He didn't tell us this just to show his power over us.

breaking the least of these commandments...could this also mean that even if we break one commandment (least)? I only thought of this because I feel all the ten commandments are important.
That's the whole point. They are all important and shouldn't be taken lightly.

I have a few words of encouragement in the midst of what's going on. It might sound wierd, but it is for real and I thought that it would be important to say it.
Its long because I've tried to and any faqs!
Hopefully this will answer some of those nagging questions -

Do you ever struggle? Or doubt that God Loves You After what you've done? Do you wonder if He even exists for that matter? Read this:
Every one of us have lied, stolen (even tiny things count as stealing), spoken badly to our parents and had embarrassing and detestable thoughts in our thought life. The Bible calls this "sin", the breaking of God's laws. You might think, so what? Everyone lies and thinks bad things about others! Its human!
You're right. That's exactly what the Bible says, we're "born into sin" and that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23
What is that "glory", morally speaking?
Well, the opposite of human nature and desires.
Not lying, not stealing, and having a perfect thought life is God's standard for us.
But if its God's standard and we were made in "God's image", Why don't we meet it?
Well, Remember Adam and Eve and when they sinned. Before sin they were perfect in thought word and DEED completely, but after the first sin occured due to Satan's tempting in the Garden, it destroyed that part of us that was morally perfect and in perfect harmony with God's morals, standard, and love. So while we kept certain things, the ability to be thinking individuals with unique personalities, the moral part (affecting how our thoughts, actions and personalities operate) was damaged. To the point where we are "opposed" to God, hence His nature and standards being the opposite of what we see as reasonable or possible. The Bible even makes it clear that "apart from God you can do nothing" - John 15:5. Without Him, it will 100% feel "opposite", unreasonable and alien to us. Only WITH Him can we gain victory in these things.
Why doesn't God just let sin off and leave it?
The Bible describes God as a "righteous judge", many wonder why God doesn't just let sin off and leave it, but He can't. Why? That's like a if a judge let off a
murderer who broke the state law. Everyone would attack that judge and call Him corrupt, saying that he had not done right and should be fired for failing to punish the murderer for his evil. AND to completely love and be good as God is, means you need to, in turn, hate all forms of evil. You can't truly love good unless you hate the existence of evil.
This means that God needed, as a righteous judge to punish sin with the ultimate penalty of death - expressing His hatred of evil - and separation from His presence forever. Hence Hell.
"The soul that sins shall die (in Hell and suffer damnation)" - Ezekiel 18:20
But God, who is also love, did not want to see His creation tortured and cut off from Him. He cares so much for is that He couldn't bear to see us fall into Satans hands and suffer death, even though we broke the law and deserve to bear the guilt, pain and be cut off from perfection forever through damnation.
Because of justice, God could not leave sin and evil unpunished, BUT because of LOVE, God provided someone else to take that punishment on our behalf, satisfying both justice (by punishing the evil committed), and love (by sparing OUR lives) despite our sin.
God sent His own SON - think about that. His *Son*, the one whom He loved infinitely (the same way He loves us).
God allowed Him to take the pain we deserved, He took ALL of Gods wrath for every single sin you and I have committed. He was punished brutally and completely as if He was the picture of mankind's sin itself so that we do not have to be punished.
Back in the courtroom scenario: He paid the "fine" at His own expense (His life had to be morally perfect on this Earth, then He had to be killed as a sinless sacrifice on our behalf).
So when He returns to remove all evil from the face of the Earth, we can be spared and free because Christ has already BEEN punished on our behalf. He then rose again on the third day, conquering not only life and sin and temptation, but DEATH.
"I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live (immortally and eternally in Heaven when I return)" - John 11:25,26
ALL we have to do is accept it by faith. Faith alone in Christ alone.
Religion = rules to be saved
The gospel = Christ saved us already we just have to believe it by faith. If you lack faith (as I did before), pray. He will make it strong it time. Trust Him as you would trust those close to you. He knows you even better than that. He created you and knows you inside out.
...WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
What does it actually mean for us?
It means we can be completely free from the penalty of damnation.
Not only that but we can be restored to Him and recreated into His moral image AGAIN as long as we accept Jesus having paid the price for us and accept Him as our Lord, the one who is in the front seat of our lives. He has a plan for your life, He's created you for a purpose. Just remember that. A purpose that includes being recreated into His image, one you can only accomplish through Him and reliance on His power and by following HIS way of life.
What does this new way of life entail?
It entails love, true love and service and aid to others, to "love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength" and "love your neighbour as you love yourself" Matthew 22:37, 39.
Sharing the message of Christ's death, resurrection and soon return on this Earth to give justice OR mercy depending on what the person chose.
Sound "opposite" again?
God knows it sounds opposite, which is why, as The Bible states, this is NOT something we can do alone. It's not in our nature.
We need a new nature in the front seat, and the first step is to repent (turn from and reject our sin, pursuing the opposite direction and drawing close to God)
Christ will give us an actual DESIRE to do these things. Through the Holy Spirit, sent by Him to us after the ascension. He speaks to us through thoughts of love and truth and conviction, verses, ideas, prayers and He guides us so that we gain a desire to follow God and be able to do these "opposite" things through Him.
"With man it is impossible, but with God, NOTHING is impossible!" - Matthew 19:26
What is the way FOR though?
Firstly its to save you from sin - the only way to gain victory over sin and not have it as your master is through having Christ as your master and following His aid to resist the devil's temptations.
Christ lived down here for 33 years suffering EVERY FORM of temptation that you have ever faced - "who in every respect [has] been tempted as we are, yet without sin" Hebrews 4:15.
Therefore He is able to help us through our struggles. When the devil knows people have left his camp, he always tries harder with more temptations and evil attacks. BUT - His way is also there to guard and teach you daily in the midst of this (and despite this) sinful, selfish world.
The path He wants you to walk is a path of committment and love - its not about rules and regulations to save us - what Christ did GAVE us salvation.
All we need is faith.
The rest, the "fruits of good works (the will to obey and follow Him)", are what come through true, maturing faith. It's all about faith and the relationship God wants with you just like before sin arrived.
God preferred His own Son to be tortured And *killed* to give a chance to us (who broke His law of perfection) so that we can live as His children again. He wants us to love and trust and worship Him.
What if I still find myself sinning after I have accepted Christ?
That's why Christ died, For our sin. His death doesn't fix us in a snap like that, but it does protect us from the damnation that our past, present and future sins would bring without Jesus.
It's a process - a lifelong process - of God bringing you back to Him, away from the destructive pleasures of sin (greed, selfish temptations, trampling on people to gain). This process takes a *lifetime*, as it does for all, but NEVER give up, when you fall, know Christ paid for that sin you committed already - just acknowledge your sin and ask for forgiveness - and you can get back up again because He already bore your guilt and shame.
Regardless of the darkness you are in or the extent or frequency of the sins you have committed or will commit, regardless of how doubtful you may feel, know that Jesus UNDERSTANDS completely and He is faithful.
"those who come to Me, I will by no means cast out" - John 6:37

Note down the Gospel of "John", or "Luke" (if you want a more detailed account of it all).
Remember that He will "NEVER - and that means never - leave you, NOR forsake you" - Deuteronomy 31:6
Regardless of what goes on down here, God knows, Jesus has been down here and felt all the emotions you are feeling.
You can go to Him with them and be assured that He loves you and is for you.
Even in the storm, God is still there, walking on the water alongside you!
Keep your heart open to Him and remember that if we pray for Christ to enter our lives, He will.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only begotten Son, that whomever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life". - John 3:16

REST: In the late 1960s people were living to be age 70 and proud of it. We had a Psych prof at Cal Lu ( then College) who was sure that any more than 4 hours' sleep was a terrible, SINFUL waste of time. He died at age 35, half of age 70, leaving a young wife and some young sons. Half his rest:: half his lifespan.

Point 2,the evening and the morning being the 1st day,God instituted a lunar calendar,a 28 day cycle...this is for the full moon as well as a womans cycle...it is not a coincidance that the PASSOVER is always the 1st full moon of spring.
Believe there is a Father and a Son Jesus.
Seek our Father and his understanding.
Ask that his Wisdom lead us in his path of Righteousness.
Pray that our flight will not take place in winter or on the sabbath.
Ask the Father if his teachings were spoken through Jesus.
Knock bless you Father for blessing us with your Son and name Jesus.
All the law and the profits hang on these two commands, Pray and Ask.
You see the light but you do not see the word, if anyone chooses to do Gods will he will find out whether Jesus teachings came from God or whether he spoke on his own. It’s your choice.
Unless the house is built by God we labor in vain.
The Bible also says that Jesus was gone from the tomb before they came to the tomb which to me says he might of raised at the end of the Saturday sabath before the beginning of the first day Sunday. Easter Friday is not biblical and the Bible says there was two sabaths at that time, a high day feast of unleavened bread and then a Saturday sabath. In Luke 23 vs 53 to Luke 24 vs 3. The feast go by the days following a new moon which has nothing to do with the catholic tradition. The day of first fruits talks about Jesus being the first fruits of many not meaning a day he rose but the beginning a something new. You talk about not following tradition yet you follow Easter which is not biblical and is tradition.
God sent his only son to die for us. Why would we willfully choose evil over Good. We can stumble if we keep close to God he will take our hand before we fall. Holy Holy Holy is the lord Jesus Christ. Love. Him because he love us. He is our Father let us love and respect Him. Amen!!!!
