I love how these games are being uploaded in HD after Underrated dropped. please repost more games from this era in HD it’s tough watching games with the SD frames nowadays 😅
Andrew and Jason never got the love they deserved but Lovedale was the heart of the team. He was draymond of the group
bro when he got that rebound at the end over those two zag players like how can people not see how much heart this team had. It wasn't just curry. And then the intelligence to kick it out to curry. That play was all heart. Richardson having the selflessness to always look ahead for curry but also maintain the composure whenever theyd fall behind or need a big layup from time to time. Such an underrated quality of a great point guard. Honestly, I always tear up when I watch this davidson team for some reason. The curry three to tie after they were down 11 and it was starting to look bad just did it for me. So much grit. They would always fight back despite playing more loaded teams.
The greatest shooter of all time
Gonzaga fan but... appreciate what Davidson and Curry did in this game... unreal that Curry played another year at Davidson after this ... didn't make the tournament. A future NBA MVP didn't get drafted after dropping 40 on Gonzaga in an upset? Before this game, the NBA drastically overvalued height over shooting the titular ball through the titular basket. Now there are players like Chet Holmgren and Victor Wembanyama that only do everything... and in the NBA you can get an instant replay review that can vindicate you for a clean block called as a foul... anyway rambling and reminiscing but that's what revisiting classic games like this is about.
yeah this was probably the greatest ncaa run by any team in history. It wasn't because they went particularly far rather it was HOW it was done. To me this and the butler team rank at the top. Pretty much every game it would look like it was done but then theyd always find a way to claw and fight back into the game. It wasn't only curry. Curry was a big part ofcourse but you could see the heart in guys like lovedale and richardson and their other supporting players. The way theyd make the big rebound when it was needed or richardson attacking the hoop and controlling the pace of the game and the team. It was like those underdog movies in real time- very rare to see. At the end, when lovedale got that rebound over those two gonzaga players and kicked it out to curry for three I teared up. It was an incredible moment.
Goat, point guard
The underrated❤
Throwback classic 🔥🔥
The guards in this game were nice to watch, Gonzaga's pg #2 was a hooper as well
Jeremy Pargo IS a hooper. He's 37 years old and playing for the G-League Ignite.
This was the last time gonzaga didn't advance to the second round
and it took curry: a 1st ballot HOFer, best shooter of all-time, to get hot to beat em. curry was playing w scrubs though
I Love watch the ncaa
Please upload Memphis vs Mississippi state
Who’s this Steph Curry cat eh?
@ March madness do you have 2008 NCAA tournament frist round game Arkansas vs Indiana and umbc vs Georgetown game list
I don’t understand why it seems as though Gonzaga made it to every tournament and still hasn’t won a title
Winning 6 straight against non conference teams (usually) will always be harder to achieve for a program that plays in the west coast conference….. zaga will never realistically win a natty until they join the pac 12. But if ur asking me, they’ll never win the big dance regardless. Hate to say it.
@@isaiahevans4930 why are they consistently ranked ahead of bigger schools then?
@@jacobcrist7982 because they’ve stacked up ALOT of wins in the past few years.
Yo when they have that big o NCAA logo in the middle
Can you also upload WKU vs Drake 2008
The Chef!!!!
He could’ve even gon high in this draft also, guess he wanted to try in the tournament again
Nah he wasnt viewed as a “real” point guard. He wouldve been a late lottery pick at best, probably in the 12-20 range.
He came back to prove himself as a passer and he did
Folks forget up to this point, Steph was an undersized SG who could shoot. He didn’t have to play PG, Davidson’s PG was #2 in college in assists. His Junior year gets lost, but that season made him a Lottery pick because he moved to PG full time and showed he could frfr play the position.
The last time Gonzaga lost in the Round of 64.
Whatever happened to #32 from Gonzaga.
Heard he's the head coach at a school now. Got a standing ovation at Kennel yesterday. He was amazing in this game... just not Stephen Curry.
SC30 THE REAL MVP & GOAT💪👊💪
