We weren't able to give our boards entirely in 10th, and our marks took a hit
11th got thrown out of the window with online schooling
12th we had split board exams first and last time in history, again marks took a hit
And then again droppers decided to drop in September and had their exams in Jan

I have also done my 12th during covid in 2022 and got 70.4% . I decided to take a drop and firstly first session held in january. Literally got 4-5 months to study, and in second attempt my percetile dont went right, now my father everyday angers on me for not scoring 75%in 12th

There are lots of students in past how got very less than 75%in boards who rocked in jee because both are different battle jee is about problem solving skill and boards focus mainly on writing of answer ..... i am to understand this type of limitation students who got less marks should also have chance to start their career from good college .
The upsc (cse) which biggest exam of India who give opportunities to become ias have not such type of limitation so why jee do this ......
Only students can understand how many problems they face in their 11th and 12th classes.......

That line that we were in 10th standard is totally true...plus we were in 11th standard when corona was still in peak...
IIT doesn't matter much even though i am a dropper.
The thing that i hated is i killed my old curious self who wanted to learn and create a new world. Unfortunately jee killed that persona of mine. I was very depressed when i took a drop and i cleared cutoff for advance.
Now even if i dont get to iit or nit , i will overcome and learn from that failure. As that depression when i took a drop made me stronger mentally.

Sir I'm a dropper, I'm from covid batch and got below 60% in boards, I had covid during boards. It's really hard for me to get into any college since, even tho i cleared almost all entrances which I gave. By god's grace I got cleared for advance this year, I really hope they remove 75% criteria and don't put any criteria, ATLEAST FOR DROPPERS BECAUSE IT'S SO UNFAIR.

sir Actually I had given my 12th board exam in 2022 and i got 69 percent. That year CBSE said that any student can apply for improvement in 2022 for one subject and also he/she can apply for improvement in 2023 for any number of subject.
So I applied for improvement in 2022 for one subject and i got 70 percent then again I applied for improvement in 3 subjects in 2023 but their result is not announced till date but i filled my board result and first improvement result of 2022 in JEE main which was 70 percent. Right now i have not my second improvement result of 2023.
So which result should I have to upload in JEE advance form??

Sir, 75% walon ke saath mere according iss sense mein unfair hoga ki wo log boards ki taiyaari bohot shiddat se kiye hain.
Humlog JEE ki itni hard preparation krte hain, uske beech 75% score krne ka bhi mind mein lekar chalte hain. Toh agar 75% hatega toh iss sense mein unfair hoga ki unhone itna pressure liya aur koi faayda nahi hua.
Aur kuch ke saath aisa bhi ho skta hai ki unlogon ka JEE par effect hua ho iss 75% criteria ki wajah se.

I think Nta ko IIT madras se kuch sikna chaiye jo bs program ke through maximum baccho ko quality education provide kara raha hai ye dekhe bina ki bacche ne 12th me kitha score kiya hai ya phir jee clear kiya hai. Hats off to IIT madras ❤

Then give your best in exams like IISER APTITUDE TEST, NEST, BITS etc, get selected into one of the best colleges and give slap on the face who have done this to you. BE PROUD OF YOURSELF FOR SECURING 92 PERCENTILE IN JEE MAINS, you have secured MORE MARKS THAN MANY 90% SCORERS IN BOARDS, This implies they are NOT BETTER THAN YOU. what is ur expected %? u will get better than it as the checking is lenient...u can start self study as a dropper...n enroll in coaching later after result....coz if u by any chance dont get 75% it will be a waste...n u can start looking for other options
