We purchased 15 of the same Jeld-Wen replacement sash kits shown in the video for our house 2 months ago. 10 of the 15 of them came with the wrong liners (not for sash replacement). Finally got Jeld-Wen to send us new liners, but those were wrong too. The second set were sash replacement liners, but they were missing all of the springs and stops. It has been two months and probably over 30 phone calls and we still don't have the correct liners and functioning windows. Jeld-Wen used to be a good company to work with, but NOT ANY LONGER. Find another window manufacturer.
I called their customer service to talk to someone for technical questions but they have some receptionist trying to answer the questions. I said can you please transfer me to someone who is a technical expert and understands windows. The receptionist was like no, tell me what you need help with. I just hung up. Other companies have dedicated experts that are there to answer your questions. What a horrible experience with Jeld-Wen. Horrible company.
When measuring width on a wood window with vinyl jamb liners, where do I measure? All the way behind the jamb liner to the wood frame or just between the liners?

There should be a brisk business in these for four year old Jeld-Wen windows.
This seems like a great solution, until you get a quote for one that is more expensive than just getting a new insert window.
Why the terrible music in all these window videos?
Probably an ASTM Standard
