  • Now that you've created your first virtual machine, let's learn how to create containers in Proxmox!
As we saw before, virtual machines have a complete environment - a full OS, applications that are running on that OS, and they're separated from the other VMs that are running on the same hypervisor. Whereas, a container, or more specifically an LXC container, is a Linux environment that shares a common kernel.

Thank you for the clear instructions. I have installed Proxmox on a 2013 Mac Mini and the creation of LXC containers works amazing!

Great series! It cuts hours off the learning of a new product and makes a world of difference in getting a lab up and running quickly. Can't wait for more of these. Think I will also have to get the full course as well.

Thank you for sharing this! One of my coworkers put me onto Proxmox for a home lab. I installed it last night and found the templates list empty. You pointed me right to the solution!

Thank you for these very interesting videos. I'm lost on shared storage. For example, I want the nextcloud container to share a folder with the photoprism container. Or a container with deluge with plex. I can't setup an nfs server and have it communicate with clients

Is there a possibility in the future that you will create a containerization/kubernetes course? I will be your first student. I miss your teaching style since the first time I learn CCNA
