Watched your videos in 2013 on my CCNA journey. Fast forward, here I am a network engineer looking to set up a home server, trying to differentiate Docker from Proxmox containers and boom, your video pops up and explains it perfectly. Intuitive and informative as always.

is there possibly a plugin for proxmox that emulates the effects of docker so we do not need it?
I do not like using proprietary software much -.-

Great explanation! You forgot to mention that you can run Docker containers, inside LXC containers :-) (easier to manage with something like Portainer). In fact, in one of my Proxmox homelab environments, I've got multiple Docker containers (Plex, tautulli, Heimdall, Homeassistant, Calibre-server/web, watchtower, etc.,), all managed with Portainer (also inside a Docker container), ALL running inside several LXC (Ubuntu) containers.

I would love it if you went back and did a "relearning" the fundamentals series. Going through things like VMs, basic Networking, differences in operating systems, containers vs vms, DNS and cloud computing

HOW CAN WE SETUP IN Docker a mail server (incoming + outgoing with tls ssl security) with the option to enable or disable for low spec VPS servers, antivirus and anti spam ?

I'm very new to this, but I was under the impression that Docker could have multiple applications on it. Perhaps a database application, and another application that uses that database. I guess that would make it a container?
