- Ghost of Tsushima released on Steam today, and it came with the ability for PS4, PS5 and PC to play together. It took some doing to figure out how to make it work, likely because as the game itself admits, it's a feature in BETA, but a PlayStation player Inviting a PC player who has their PSN Invites list open usually works fine. (I couldn't seem to invite PS4/PS5 from PC even when both of us appeared Online.)
These are a few clips from the Legends co-op mode, which reuses the base game's mechanics and adds a few more, in addition to its own progression system. Legends is themed after horror storytelling, with a character from Jin's journey in the base Ghost of Tsushima game narrating embellished tales around what the Ghost really was. Stealth is emphasized in Legends, and especially on higher difficulties, finding ways to finish missions with minimal time spent in combat is typically very strong.
You could honestly think of it as a whole second game you get with Ghost of Tsushima for free, which at the time when it first launched on PS4 really blew people away. It's not monetized in any way, there's no real missable live-service FOMO or the like, it's just a great game with increasing challenges, some varied modes, a creative PvPvE mode reminiscent of Destiny's Gambit, and even a Raid if you want one. While Legends is designed to be co-op, you can solo a ton of it, which I did back on PS4.

Hello! So what about trophy on PC, its sync with your ps4 or you can get all trophy from start. Can you even get the trophy or not?
You can get all Trophies from the start.
Ghost of Tsushima on PC is considered a separate PSN game from Ghost of Tsushima on PS4/PS5.
So while I have 100% PS4 Trophies, and 60% PS5 Trophies, my Ghost of Tsushima PC trophy list is like 2%. If you're the type of player who loves to chase trophies or pad out how many Platinums you have, getting the game on PC again is a good way to do that. :P

Loved this game on PS4, got it the day it came out, really happy for all my PC gamers who'll get the chance to enjoy it now. It's been a long time coming. I wish Sony hadn't done a Sony move and prevented people who can't legally make a PSN account from buying the game, but it just means those players will turn to piracy since Sony refuses to take their money anyway.
@@LeoKRogue I bought GoT for my brother last year since he has a ps4 and it quickly became his favorite game of all time, I couldn't wait to get it on pc. The very fact that Sony sells both consoles and physical copies of the game in the official sony stores in my city but it doesn't allow me to get it on steam is baffling

legends is a joy. trying to do that mission with the twins' hearts stealthly was really fun. i wanted to do the one with elemental kami too, but cant do that one solo without getting spotted.
Mhm! I still have my solo stealth video of Severed Hearts up. In Legends, some missions are more about quick-defusal of combat states rather than pure-stealth, but thankfully we do have tools and abilities to get that done.
@@LeoKRogue one-two punches using the bow, or the assassin skill that gives a second vanish after a sucessfull kill, and of course critical assassinations.
I really wish this wasn't region-locked away from my country. Damn it, Sony.
All I'll say is if they're not willing to accept your money, they have no moral right to complain if you decide to access this through other means.

Show Sony how much money they're denying themselves by hoisting the Jolly Roger. I'm not linking a PSN account for Legends, so they're not even getting what they want from me. Only way I'd do it is if they released Bloodborne on PC and require PSN linking for it. But Sony hates making money so that won't happen.

I'm dumb dont know how to setup for the crossplay. From the PC menu there's a show invite button but I can't do anything. No search user id or anything. I only have send steam invite which is working properly. But for playing with PS5, do you have to be friends on PSN first? And then they will be showing up on the list so I can I actually send invite or vice versa.
You do have to be friends on PSN, yes. Steam invites are only for other PC players.

Yeah, terrible move on Sony's part, and means I don't get to share one of my favorite games with those players barring some extra effort on their part that shouldn't be necessary.
For me the game runs pretty well most of the time, and this computer has one or two super outdated components so I was surprised.
Noh, this is not Assassin's creed shadows discussion vid. It would be interesting to listen to the thoughts of a person deeply versed in the mechanics of assassins. Ubisoft promises a real nextgen with the ability to cut bushes with a katana and the ability to crawl Hide in the short grass. The system of changing seasons is very interesting.The fact that in winter you cannot dive into a pond to hide or, for example, while sneaking on the roof you can land an icicle and it will attract the attention of a guard...
There are some cool details they shared, I like the ideas. I'll talk about it sometime, but I do want to mention right now that seeing real gameplay is the most important thing. Until we get that, I'm not really in a huge rush to profit off a discussion video based on a cinematic and a list of text notes, y'know? With that said, I do have some things I want to say that I noticed, and I think people will find interesting.

When i join that my friend send invited, its say error code 1?
Sometimes my friends and I have to invite in the other direction, it's still a bit buggy.
The Crossplay doesnt work for me (on Pc) and my Friend (on Ps5) everytime i accept his invite my game just closes
Are you both fully updated? When you're in Legends on PC, can you see your PlayStation overlay just fine? Try inviting in the opposite direction as well. It's been buggy for me at times too, but your entire game closing is definitely not normal.

Sometimes, we end up having to change who the invite is coming from.
Is it posible to get the ps4 saves to PC?
I haven't checked yet. Not in any official capacity, I don't think, but I have heard murmuring that there may be modded NG+ save files reprocessed to work for the PC version and stuff.

Invite other players through PSN and it works fine. Or just Matchmake with random players online, but make sure "Crossplay Beta: Enabled" is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
And how it's working on PC so far?
After making sure to get a driver update the port is honestly amazing. A lot of my close friends are also blown away at how nice it runs for the most part. Some really appreciated graphics options too.

I played GOT when it first came out on PS4, since then I've been waiting on a PC port and a chance to play the multiplayer mode since I'm not okay with giving Sony money to use my internet connection, and when I got that automatic refund on Steam when Sony decided that it's cool being allergic to money, I was pretty bummed. Guess I'll just stick to singleplayer with a shareware version of the game ;) Great content as always mane.
Yeah, it's pretty inconsiderate how they just don't have any solution in place for customers in those regions beyond just "You can't buy it." Insane.
If you still have a way to check it out, it's a fun game, that hasn't changed at least.
@@LeoKRogue Oh I do but the only thing that baffles me is that they couldn't have just put a warning in game for accessing MP outside of supported regions. Like I wouldn't mind paying for the game on Steam but without the MP aspect, at least I would get patches and other Steam features.
The real fun( pain ) begins in higher difficultly.......and soloing is actually quite fun tho...
I recently solo'd this mission on Gold while I was 15-20 Ki underpowered and it was pretty satisfying, yeah. Really enjoying the game.
@@LeoKRogue kinda far fetched tho but you can also try to solo a survival map.......it is difficult and challenging...but the adrenaline and fun is nonstop tho ( although assassin class may be a bit difficult but it is possible

Seems like you don't need it. I don't have PS+ right now and I can play with others. You do need a PSN account in general though.

You can, yeah. It just has to be through in-game voice chat, as opposed to PSN party voice-chat, I believe. Or, you can all join a Discord call if your non-PC players are on PS5.

Well, I have the game in my wishlist in Steam, but as of now I haven't the money to buy the game. What exactly is it that you mean?

You all either have to use the in-game voice chat purely, so, no PSN party, or all join on Discord.
