The advancement points are there to get a higher class. Like for example lower points may get you a rogue class, but higher points get you a higher rogue class like assassin. Basically, the longer you survive the higher chance you have of obtaining a higher class. Another example would be tank for lower points but higher points get you a paladin.
That will most likely be explained in the next episode
I enjoyed how you broke down the episode after watching it. Here is my summary take. The advancement points are used to go from a regular job to an advanced job. So from warrior to berserker, knight to swordsmaster, magician to grand magician, etc. In a since defeating Igris allowed him to acquire a job (though not selected yet) and the points will allow him to pick a better job. Jin-woo thought he was a fighter and Kang (Tae-shik) thought he was an assassin, but Jin-woo was jobless (classless) as far as "The System" is concerned. Since the daily quest was mentioned, it will come into play. Even if he makes it out of the dungeon, Jin-woo will not have time to finish it. It was 11:00 pm when Jin-ah was studying. Plus, Jin-woo hinted at going to the penalty zone to possibly level up in episode 8. I missed the symbolism in the episode, but the missing food could also represent Jin-sung being turned down already and Jin-ho securing Jin-woo (having food on his plate). But Jong-in, Jin-woo, and Jin-ho are all having their own battle. Jong-in is battling against the past loss by preparing to go back to Jeju Island. Jin-woo is battling in the present to obtain a job (class). And Jin-ho is battling for his future against his brother to create a guild. These three stories are running in parallel. The skill Jin-woo obtained by defeating Igris is similar to the skill he obtain by defeating Kang. In other words, just like the stealth skill, you already seen what it does at some point during the fight. I believe he didn't check Ruler's Hand because he was going over all the drops, and the concern of getting a teleport stone he can't put in his inventory after the fight was over took precedence. Jin-woo dropping the teleport stone again is frustrating, but he has the tenacity to retrieve it and make it out if necessary. And once out of the dungeon, he'll have excess to full recovery and the shop again to heal any injuries.

👉👉👉Here is a info that the fans miss or forget .....after finally defeating Igris the Blood Red Commander, Jin Woo is judged on his performance in his Job Change Quest that this entire dungeon was centered around, and even if something weird didn’t happen he would have gotten a good class, but because of an interesting circumstance where Jin Woo actually forgot to do his daily quests that day, he was actually sent to the Penalty Dungeon for a full 24 hours, where he was able to use items, refresh himself and even buy a few weapons that came in handy during the battle. The good thing is, this time that Jin Woo spent inside of the penalty dungeon also counted towards the time that he spent inside of the Job Change Quest, and given that he’s handed extra points and a better job for every minute he stayed inside, it’s no surprise that when it’s time for Sung Jin Woo to unlock his first job, he’s given the highest grade ......i wont say what class he choose 😅 wait for the next episode and the the legendary ARISE scene

to give you some scene context the reason he was able to stop the sword with his hand is because the armor gauntlet for his right hand has an ability that negates damage to that hand, they don’t show it in the anime but they do in the manwha oh and the final blow was from him continuously using fatal strike which kept boosting his damage over and over again
The scout mission is anime only. The danger level of Jeju is so high that it's weird that Choi (red hair spectacles) wants to go scout with his guild. But oh well, let's see what the anime does with it
I was about to say. I don't remember Choi Jong-In going to Juju this early in the story.
remember the anime is drawing from the Novel story not the manwha. It is only taking the art style from the manwha

Will Power buff: Jinwoo Takes 50% LESS damage when he drops below 30% hp
High Knight's Chestplate: makes him take 20% LESS damage taken
High Knight's (Right) Gauntlet: Makes him Immune to all damage to that HAND specifically + 3% LESS physical Damage taken ( Was shown in the anime but it was in the novel and manwha)
Kasaka Venom gland: 20% LESS damage taken (the poison he drank when fighting cerberus )
He had all of that and Igris gave my man Jinwoo the 7 piece combo no biscuit no bev in mid-air and followed it up with the broly face run... bruh
