Excellent video. I just got my Nova Go today from Amazon and I wanted to give everyone out there who are considering buying this guitar a BIG HEADS UP. I have been watching RUclips videos here from everyone doing Enya Nova Go videos to research the product as well as see what is included in the box. There are some significant changes in what is included in the package now. First off the box I received was a single brown cardboard box and not a glossy shiny white and pastel colored box inside of a cardboard box like I have seen in every box opening video here on RUclips. 2nd there was no plastic bag protecting the gig bag, and they completely changed the gig bag from a semi-hard imitation leather or vinyl material to a softer padded canvas material bag with no plush velvet style lining inside. Also the strap is now rolled up like a belt and placed inside a black cardboard box since the gig bag no longer has the strap attached and instead sports 2 backpack style straps for the bag to be worn like a back pack. Also all the accessories are no longer found in the gig bag pocket, they are in a plastic zip lock type bag and is placed on top of the gig bag when you first open the shipping box. So there have been changes recently which took me by surprise when I received the guitar. I was expecting to everything to be exactly like how it has been in all the RUclips videos.

Plus I am a total beginner on the guitar so nobody outside of my neighbors will be hearing me play. I just wanted to let everyone out there to know that Enya has made some changes in case they are as surprised as I was.
Just got mine, and was totally GOBsmacked by the huge sound and tone of it. Tonight, the 2nd night I had it, the front side strap bolster broke off. I was so bummed because I need a strap when I play. Other than that is it flat out amazing! I LOVE this little thing! I will attach another bolster to hook the strap on to. Mine stayed in tune well also.
I have the $900 Enya x4-Pro Carbon Fiber, and my initial impression is that it is the best acoustic I have ever played. Highly recommend! Compares well against my Martin, and my previous favorite Alvarez. I've played (though not owned) several other high end guitars
Could you tell me please if the paint on your Enya scratches easily? Not that I want you to scratch it…lol. Just wondering how durable the finish is please? Thanks!
Sorry that I just saw this! The guitar isn’t painted. The color is in the carbon fiber body. I’ve never been careful with it and it looks just great. I hope this helps.
Laura, I totally agree on carbon fiber (basically graphite) being virtually indistructible. I've been wanting to try a Rain Song carbon fiber acoustic forever but my local Guitar Center never stocked them. As with your review, I've heard lots raves for this little axe. Amaz has them on special right now and so I ordered one for a gift. One of the reviewers made a funny statement, 'The perfect guitar to take along on a canoe to play as well as using as an ore.' I ordered in flat black but I do like the your blue one. Great demo and review, .. Thanks!
idk if this is a late comment but how does it sound for other’s? im aware the soundhole is in an odd position so the beauty of the tone hits the player more than the viewer
The manufacturer calls it carbon fiber. Feels like plastic though, doesn’t it? Either way for the price, tuning stability, and ease of travel, I don’t really care if it’s plastic or carbon fiber. 🤷♀️

Have you heard if there is going to be an electric version of this Enya carbon fiber in the USA? I heard it wasn't going to be available here in the states. Where can I purchase if available Thank you Laura.

The electric version is supposed to come out about mid-year 2022. It's also got some neat "intelligent" features and app integration. It's expected to be about $200-$250 more expensive.
@@mikebelz9226 I wouldn’t switch the strings, but I was worried about the sound hole. I think I’ll wait and see if they come out with a left handed version. Thanks.

The irony of using the name nova for a travel guitar is that in Spanish “No va” means does not go. Lol.
Why doesn’t it have the push button on the top of the guitar anymore? It is the reverb and delay control.

I've got two of these. Stop calling the carbon fiber -- they're plastic.

"It feels like you're playing a real guitar." Ummm.... it IS a real guitar. It just has a carbon fiber face instead of tonewood face.

I’m looking into getting the Nova Go, but… I play left handed. Do you think having the sound hole on the bottom will dull the sound too much?
I believe the nut is molded into the fretboard, the string slots wont fit. The sound hole pointed down will be muted by your lap.
