- This Video is not intended to hurt anyone, its just information, by the way, these scenes are not mine, I used them to reference all the Mental Disorders, I know Spongebob is not the best cartoon for referencing Mental Disorders, so take this with a grain of salt

Doctors have diagnosed so many people with “depression” that the word had lost its meaning
The reason for this is because most Americans have depression to some extent.
actually, yea you are right, in my video, it wasn't really depression being about sadness, but more like boredom
CheeseOnMemes oh gotcha, and thank you.
@@mrshadrack8554 np
It’s the saddest thing that nobody really thinks much on the psychology of things. The world would be a much better place if we all did.
@@diamondbright7327 honestly reading this comment is making me think of those kids who would roleplay as “depressed people with anxiety” and some insane mental disorder makes me sad honestly cause those people who have those actual issues probably feel like their being mocked
the better representation for OCD would be that episode where squid ward keeps running back to the krusty krab while spongebob keeps saying "have you finished those errands"
yea
@mar ikr
Yes! Obsessive affirmation seeking and rituals all in one scene!
Reminds me of wishy washy...
That would also be a good one.
0:29 honestly this is the most accurate portrayal of depression ive seen
It really is
how i’ve been feeling during school lately tbh
Ikr?
"I don't really feel like playing the clarinet today" or whatever he says is SO real,
I've lost all motivation to do the things I enjoy WAY to many times
Anyone else feel that Squidward is the epitome of depression
yea, u have a point
danganronpa fans really have no other image to use huh
2:01 can we appreciate the fact that Spongebob shows organs at all details with no hesitation?
True- but the reason people do show it with hesitation cause people can be pretty squeamish to that type of content
the anorexia one is so accurate
@Sunflower Plants vs zombies is an eating disorder
Squidwards tentacle is yellow when it does a closeup of the conch
Jaiden animations had anorexia
(HAD)
Depression’s accurate, too.
My body: Can I have something to eat?
My mind: *Um, no. Try again, sis!*
Stress, Anxiety, and Depression is accurate af 😩
thx
0:18 i have anxiety and this is Very relatable
To be fair he had every reason to be anxious
1:51 A good reason not to eat at the chum bucket
aww sry
@@Nor-Gar Hope your still doing okay ;( How is it now buddy?
I'm still good :)
The ocd one is so accurate-
A great one for schizophrenia would’ve been Mrs Puff in the padded room “made of SPONGE!”
OCD should’ve been Squid’s Day Off
finally someone who doesnt think ocd is just 'i want to keep everything clean'. i dont have ocd but i get mad when people generalize it as just keeping organized and clean. its so much worse than that.
thank you for doing proper research.
:D np friend
Yeah, I know one of the things I do that drives one crazy is checking the door is locked several times before I leave.
Best way I know how to describe is like a mental block you just cant get around. The cleaning would be one of hundreds of variety, probably.
Cleaning is actually another I do have to be fair, but for me it only gets triggered if I come in contact with one of several things.
i *might* have mild pure obsessive ocd but whatever it is, it can be terrible. imagine having obsessive thoughts of embarrassment and, worst of all, doing terrible things.
It’s a big difference from perfectionism.
I’m a perfectionist (sometimes), but I don’t have OCD.
Sadly, I have OCD (diagnosed) and for me it's not cleaning at all
As a musician the depression one hit harder than I thought it would.
The depression one could not be anymore accurate
It surprised me that they show a decaying corpse in spongebob 1:56
The mania one is completely accurate... so many bad things going on around you, but you're just happy and carefree as can be... I have ADHD and bipolar, so I can relate. 😔
I didn’t know cannibalism was a mental health disorder. Not even my health teacher told me that.
the scene where plankton is roasting 3 generations in a row could have been hypomania
The way the conch shell said no at 1:41 🤣
OCD triggers portrayed by Spongebob
"Even if it takes... FOREVER!"(*Shock*)
0:10 and 0:20 represents many high school and college seniors
Cannibalism isn't disorder it's an diet
technically
@@CheesiusCaesar69Well anyways thanks for my first hearted comment
Np
I know you said to take this with a grain of salt, so I'm more saying this to educate the viewers, because most have a twisted perception of OCD.
The "need for cleanliness and perfection" demonstrated in 1:12 is a symptom that's actually more of a resemblance to Autism Spectrum Disorder.
A good representation of OCD would be if Spongebob thought "If I don't remove that loose thread, my entire family will die."
(Also, Stress and Cannibalism are not actual mental disorders. Even Amnesia is more of a neurological condition than mental.)
The depression one is me. Keep getting more and more sad.
Crazy Anxiety, phobias.
I love Spongebob so much.
Memes or no memes this is very educational
An alternative representation of depression would be the scene from Are You Happy Now where Squidward says “I can’t seem to get happy.” and throws a rope.
The OCD one is so accurate
the depression one is so accurate
cannibalism isn’t a mental disorder, we’re just hungry.
there was an entire episode where spongebob has schizophrenia once
schizobob
i am currently overcoming an ed and this helped me thank you
The anxiety one is so accurate, like when your nervous or worried for no apparent reason whatsoever
0:24 that is so me, I have from Insomnia!
Squidward: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!
0:24 as an insomniac a can say this is horrifyingly accurate
The depression one should have the I can’t seem to get happy
OCD was fair enough I suppose. Sneaking around, bargaining with yourself, trying to ignore the urges
cannibalism isn't a bug it's a feature it opens options for nutrition
That's a good video
Btw depression is an accurate thing
The two disorders I’m on: ANXIETY 😥 & PANIC DISORDER
My teacher made us watch this to learn each mental disorder.
seriously!?
Yup congrats for portraying awareness on mental disorders well
I hope that teacher got fuckin fired for having depression. No one is perfect but if people want a job out there in real life shouldn't choose something for students to either learn or make fun of.
@@aliezahjuarez1212what?
The depression one was just _way too real._
You should’ve put Inspongeiac as Insomnia so that’s way more accurate…
Any scene with spongebob can be ADHD really, cuz it comes in so many ways lol
I’d relate more to the extremely hyperactive moments like anytime spongebob jumps a ton, cuz I do that sometimes.
squidwards is the symbols depression
1:12 as someone with ocd I can confirm this is accurate
As somebody who couldn't sleep last night, I can confirm I wanted to eat
I wonder if this show has a good representation of Dissociative identity disorder, as someone who suffers from it, itd be interesting to see how a childhood cartoon I lived on could show it.
The OCD is so true. I have OCD and it’s accurate to this. 1:12
As someone with OCD, I can confirm how true this is
As someone who had insomnia in college, that clip spoke out to me. I used to have so much trouble sleeping at night that I would go to the kitchen at 4am to make myself spaghetti and watch tv until the sun came up.
For OCD, you should’ve put the scene where Spongebob was sorting out pencils at Boating School
Okay, A common misconception about OCD is that it is about things being perfect, or clean, but in reality it is a disorder that causes a person to have excessive, unwanted, intrusive thoughts that make them feel the need to “neutralize” them in order to continue on with their life. An example would be, a person would have intrusive thoughts about germs or getting sick, and in order to make the thought go away, they would excessively sanitize all the surfaces in their house until they feel satisfied. Neutralizing behaviors do not make the intrusive thoughts go away in the long run, and people with OCD need to do intensive exposure therapy. (Exposing them to the intrusive thought to prove to themselves that there is no threat) in order to recover from the disorder.

A+ intro
Underrated
thx :D
I've been think myself
I have
Stress
Phobia
Anxiety
Depression
Edit: and Panic disorder
The OCD one was too real 😅
1:16 as a autistic, ADHD, and OCD guy this is kinda accurate although I only have a small percentage of OCD but however I do have “bad” ADHD tho :)
insomnia is accurate :D
I have ocd and this is so true!
I have Phobias and Anxiety,its accurate :0
0:25 literally me lol
Actually that was not caniblism because squidward is an octipus but that lady was a fish
Me: has everything
Schizophrenia should have been the one with the old man at the nursing home saying too loud.
mania so accurate 💀💀💀
Squidward’s depression gets to me!
unrelated to the topic of the video but with that magic conch episode, the zoom shown in this video has an obvious animation error where its spongebobs hand even though squidward was holding the conch. genuinely have no idea how the spongebob team didnt catch that.
Stress and Anxiety for me :'v Ah, and phobia for insects.
The anxiety one hit hard
(I have anxiety) ☹
0:29 me in math class
I suffer from *furry* :(
lmfao I remember that video
I have severe depression ive related to squidward since i was 5
That's rough buddy
Should have used the Cuddle E Hugs episode for Schizophrenia too
yea
I have Insomnia, ADHD, and Minor Autism which I don’t think makes me weird. It just means I am different
SpongeBob I thought had ADHD
The Stress one was accurate!!!
1:49 what episode name is that from?
i forgot
I have OCD . . .
I know I shouldn't be laughing at the anorexia one but...
Me before reading desc : What the heck is wrong with you?!
Me after reading desc : oh. Never mind.
How is stress a disorder? Every has stress.
0:30 would be insanity
Mhm. Amnesia is now a mental disorder 👍
Fun fact: SpongeBob has a disorder himself
i have ocd and this is true
No matter who you voted for, we can all agree this video pretty much describes Election Night cov erage
I have a question does maladaptive daydreaming count as a disorder-
yes, according to the internet
I have that and it’s good against boredom
Don’t forget that insomnia too
wow 17k views .o.
Well, they got the depression one right, hehehe (sigh) 😔
When you realize ADHD exists:
Where is me main boi Dementia?
idk
I have insomnia and the insomnia one is acurate
Thanks to Reigarw Comparisons once again for helping me with some of this list.
Here is his channel: ruclips.net/user/reigarw
do not worry, go check out part 2: ruclips.net/video/x94NxXMgAE8/видео.html
in there, at the end, there is ADHD
No bipolar disorder?
it's in part 2: ruclips.net/video/x94NxXMgAE8/видео.html
I’d just like to point out you forgot stuff like ptsd and adhd and autism and cannibalism is a crime not a mental disorder.
