- Thanks to TheOnlyPsycho for creating the video to give me this idea
I own nothing.
Reasons for Each State:
Delaware: First State
Pennsylvania: Steel industry
New Jersey: Atlantic City
Georgia: Known for peanuts
Connecticut: Powdered wigs in colonial days (it could work for like all 13 colonies though)
Massachusetts: MIT and Harvard are there, everyone thinks they're smart
Maryland: Has lots of crabs
South Carolina: Myrtle Beach
New Hampshire: Big emphasis on mining
Virginia: Tons of fighting throughout history in the state
New York: Niagara Falls
North Carolina: Krispy Kreme was founded there
Rhode Island: Smallest state by land size
Vermont: Makes a lot of maple syrup
Kentucky: Horse riding in the state/ Kentucky Derby
Tennessee: This one could work for a lot of southern states but they love banjos
Ohio: Cedar Point and their rollercoasters
Louisiana: Crime in New Orleans
Indiana: Big on racing/ Indianapolis 500
Mississippi: Statistically the state with the dumbest people in America
Illinois: They love to associate themselves with Lincoln
Alabama: Southerners being southerners
Maine: Huge lobster industry
Missouri: I couldn't think of anything so I went with farming, which they have a lot of
Arkansas: Known for their diamonds
Michigan: Love their cars and known for their automotive industry
Florida: Storms literally almost everyday there
Texas: Rodeos, the clip itself explains it, Texas being Texas
Iowa: Also big on farming
Wisconsin: A huge producer of cheese
California: High prices (could basically work for almost every US state)
Minnesota: Freezing cold up there
Oregon: Nike was founded there
Kansas: Tornadoes there all the time
West Virginia: Huge mountains and a long bridge
Nevada: Tons of atomic bombs dropped there in the 1950s
Nebraska: Farming big there also
Colorado: Huge mountains, and as a result lots of avalanches
North/South Dakota: Nothing out there, nobody
Montana: Also huge mountains, the ice doesn't really work but I couldn't find any other mountain clips
Washington: Washington (fish version that is)
Idaho: Huge producer of potatoes
Wyoming: Also no one out there
Utah: Very popular location for skiing
Oklahoma: Lots of tornadoes there also
New Mexico: State with the highest poverty rate
Arizona: Reference to the old west days (could work for New Mexico too)
Alaska: Freezing cold up there as well
Hawaii: Everyone loves to surf over there - Игры
I love how most of the states are just random clips that pertain to a particular stereotype of the state, but Texas is actually part of SpongeBob lore.
I know because Sandy is from Texas
Finally someone who puts the states in order of statehood and not alphabetically
What is that supposed to mean
@@lockjaw7437What is your freaking IQ bro
@@lockjaw7437It simply means that the list is the order the states became… you know… states, because they were once territories, if English is your first language, you should reconsider going back to school
@@ManuelGrado-ts7bz I’m sorry I didn’t mean to sound hostile I just out of genuine curiosity
@@lockjaw7437 no sorry from me i just thought you were a 4 year old American who knew nothing :(
Finally, someone who doesn’t put a busy ass city for New York and call it a day
and doesn't use gambling clips for nevada
What tf else you gonna portray New York as?
@@TMHLBPFan water
Having lived in CNY, that was not accurate. I'd use the town cheesehead brown pants ended up in by mistake
@@CorruptedFamine CNY?
0:10 As a New Jerseyan I found this one to be very accurate because in Atlantic City, every time I walk through a casino, I see people gambling.
My grandmother be doing the same thing gambling money is not a good thing at all
I'm from AC so this is so accurate
I live in New Jersey also
That's what you're supposed to do in a casino
@@DonsStudios not everyone does that
The Maryland one is incredibly accurate, crabs are what we are known for.
My sister went to college in Maryland and when my family visited her we always got yummy crab cakes!
And Old Bay
5:05 as a man from Wisconsin, I can say that the cheese is not super bad, but that cheese in the show is.
I like how you have the states in order of when they joined the Union rather than in alphabetical order like most people do.
and actually provided reasoning for the clips used
The Tie Your Shoe song is the most nostalgic 😁
I’ve learned that the people making SpongeBob hates the south. But as someone from the Alabama and Tennessee state line they are accurate.
0:39 as a masshole i can confirm that i graduated from harvard and mit at the age of 2.1925 years old
Smarta##
@@DominicAmazing777 mAsshole for a reason 😁
Were you held back a year?
4:17 As a Floridian, I can 100% confirm.
What’s the craziest Florida man post you’ve ever seen?
@@LunaiCarmen Probably the one about the woman who tried to make a holiday called ‘Sugar Daddy Appreciation Day’.
@@LunaiCarmen Buuuuut if we’re talking actual Florida MAN… probably the guy who threw an Alligator through a Wendy’s drive through window. 😂
I'm surprised Arkansas isn't just a joke about Patrick's rock. Thank you.
if ohio was that clip because of cedar point i applaud you
I thought it was kings island
5:29 - As a Californian, I found this part accurate, but I don't want to move to another state.
Fr it’s worth it
I think Texas and Alaska are the only states actually mentioned by name in the show (Alaska because of the bull worm). California is mentioned by the narrator when talking about patchys house but that doesn't really count
Yes, Ohio is famous for its roller coasters. I’m glad to be in Ohioan, even though I live in Connecticut now
3:07 THAT'S NOT HOW MY STATE IS😢😢
what it means is that louisiana has high crime rates
You're right. It's worse.
I thought Michigan was gonna be the scene in Snowball Effect when the glacier moves into Bikini Bottom 😂
As a Michigander, I can 100% agree that this is true
I'm not even kidding, either
The drivers here are CRAZY
umm, every state suffers from this.
@@nobto-j8g no need to state the obvious lol
For those who don’t get the Nevada one basically the US did thousands of nuclear tests and nuked Nevada many many times.
Thx for mentioning it.
0:08 Conveyor Belt
My favorite state
Utah could’ve been when SpongeBob drank coffee and started screaming
As a Washingtonian myself, remember that George Washington is only the Namesake of our state (Aswell as Washington DC) and George Washington was born in Virginia (im just telling you)
I am also a Washingtonian. I would have gone with the Sea Needle clip. :)
Another Washingtonian here. That was the lamest excuse for a "____ explained" by SpongeBob clip that I've ever seen 😂😂 that had nothing to do with us!
Washington State was originally going to be called "Columbia", but some guy from Kentucky named Richard Stanton thought that people would confuse it for the district of columbia. Ergo, the state has been called Washington ever since.
I'm Washingtonian too!
As a Floridian, that is basically true. Thanks Patrick.
Pretty much Florida Man shooting at the sky during a hurricane trying 2 make it go away, lol. Florida’s so entertaining😂🤙
@@LordTylerBluGunderson Hey,it’s Florida. We’re ALWAYS entertaining.
8:43 as an Idahoan, I gotta agree. And the formula Krabs is trying to protect is for Idaho's famous Huckleberry Sauce.
As a Louisiana resident I was waiting on my state. I was not disappointed 💯💯🔥🔥
this is so ACCURATE-
The Oklahoma one is nothing short of accurate
Oklahoma should have been the tall dust devil that lifted SpongeBob’s house
4:09 Relatable if you put a clip from the sandy hibernation episode that's also relatable
As a Western New Yorker, I can and can't relate.
7:19 - 7:45 as a Coloradan this is accurate
Some what
3:00 oh good you didnt treat us like a joke.
But yeah, thats bout right. Whethee the north one or the south theme park
3:29 I completely forgot about this and how funny it is 😂
Living in Illinois, this is completely accurate, Abraham Lincoln is a legend there
The Massachusetts one is so accurate 😂😂😂. You got know-it-alls here.
2:40 Tennesseean here, just want to say that it’s funny you chose that clip in particular because our State capital Nashville has been dubbed “music city”
As a Californian I can confirm that the IRS is not too fond of me
Yeah AZ is pretty accurate. In Tucson alone we have two little theme parks based on the Wild West and a couple ghost towns too
2:32 as a fellow Tennessean, I can say this is 100% accurate
lol I thought New Mexico was gonna be the pie going off 🤣🤣
4:23 Florida looks like it's taking a whiz on Patrick
"Delaware - He was number one!"
Very accurate.
3:07 as a Louisianan myself, I can confirm or state is in fucking shambles and on the brink of collapse.
I like how you put all 50 U.S. states in order of statehood date.
Okay that makes sense for Wisconsin. You could’ve also put a waterpark but I get the point.
I can accept Illinois in this. Another great option would be any time with the Krusty Krab Pizza
Hello from Louisville, KY!
As a native Floridian, I can say that is definitely Florida. 😂 We have the monsoon season from June-September.😅
As someone from AZ this is so accurate there is a part of Scottsdale that is like that.
In Michigan, people will spend more money on boats then they will cars or homes. Boats are our "Ferraris" in this state.
Watching this on a vacation to Florida while I’m from Michigan and they come after one another….idk just felt like adding that
Personally almost every state in New England along with New Jersey can relate to the phrase “so peaceful”
3:56 as a average person from Missouri I can confirm there are a lot of farms
As a Pennsylvanian, I can confirm, S T E E L
1:45 total missed chance of that one time sponge bob was a pilot being NC was the first us state to have a successful flight by the right brother's back in 1920
As a North Carolinian, this is something we do.
Ohio should have just been squid ward in clarinet land
As a North Carolinian, I’m embarrassed at how long it took me to realize what NC was referring to 😂
The only thing I can think of is Heroes Con
@@rudasaeorien Krispy Kreme was started in North Carolina
I was so happy to see a nod to Krispy Kreme instead of tobacco or airplanes. Unexpected, but appreciated.
8:23 as a Montanan I approve this we get a lot of snow during winter
As an Idahoan myself, I can confirm thats how we defend ourselves from Californians from flying in.
5:55 as a Minnesotan, this is very very accurate😂
As a Wisconsinite I approve our designated segment.
Michigan should have been the scene in the crusty crab where plankton was messing with the temperature dial.
I do appreciate that they actually represented West Virginia in a somewhat positive light
The Oklahoma one is 100% spot on. Like bro it’s perfect lol
As a Missourian I found that accurate
5:03 as a Person living in Wisconsin, this seems pretty funny to me!
5:50 I lived in Minnesota for a while this is pretty accurate give or take, but the summers are really decent, hot but decent
hot and more mosquitos in the air than oxygen
Fellow Minnesotan Here
For California, you should've had the clip from the episode where Mr. Krabs opened a hotel and they went to the hospital at the end, and after the doctor gave Mr. Krabs the bill, Squidward asked him if he was going to have a heart attack, and Mr. Krabs replied "Not with these prices".
I'm in shock that the one about Arizona isn't about the heat that affects one half of the state
Ive lived in Florida for over a year now and though my new state is hurricane prone summer is the rainiest time of year in my area.
Yup. Visited from Oregon decent amount times and it rains a lot more in the summer time and more prone 2 thunderstorms in Florida compared 2 Oregon. I do like the humidity as well in Florida compared 2 wut most people say about humidity.
As a Floridian I too tell the rain to go away and that I'm in charge
here to represent VA because no one else commented about it !!
With new SpongeBob episodes coming out recently, SpongeBob is becoming a portrayal show not only is morden SpongeBob bad for some people but for me it feels like that SpongeBob will portray almost everything depending on the scene,no matter what
"Florida: storms literally almost every day there"
in august it might, but that's about it
3:36 As an Alabamian, I can confirm we all act like this lol
as a hoosier. insanely accurate.
As someone that lives in Mississippi, I can't agree more!😂
the nebraska one is pretty insane, not because of the state representation tho. I just didn't know that there were episodes that bubble bass was actually happy. then again he's hanging out with squidward and they are both singing old macdonald so idk what kinda drugs they're on but they're bro-ing it up pretty nice lol
6:10 I live in Kansas and this is pretty accurate, but I would like to point out that the weather here is pretty flexible,
So you never know what your gonna get
Wow, you're a state traveler. I can agree that the state gets unpredictable weather.
As a Hoosier can confirm if you don’t watch racing you’re probably on the streets doing it yourself
Pennsylvanian. I guess they call us the Keystone state for a reason. (Also, what episode was that from?)
Ngl I'm a Texan and the clip in the video and the spongebob "no im texas meme" are definitely fitting lol and also theres hardly ever trees here only *G R A S S F I E L D S*
As someone who lives in Florida… wait is that lightni AHHHHHHH…
Missed opportunity to use the sea chicken for Kentucky
As an alabamian, I'm very happy with the clip they chose for us 😂😂
as a personal resident of north carolina, i can say that this is 100% accurate.
Because of Krispy Kreme…and I guess fat southern people eating donuts, iced tea, and fried chicken 24/7, lol😂🤙
as a native iowan i can confirm we drive tractors as a 9-5 with a straw in our mouth 👍
I was expecting cigarettes or airplanes for North Carolina, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a nod towards our state being the home of Krispy Kreme. :)
a better Arizona one would be the scene where the fish is literally on fire walking but is unbothered by it
6:23 yes as a kansin I can confirm this is true
I live in Oregon but i dont understand how the shoe tying song reps us. unless it's referring to northern oregon and implying they are too stupid to know how to tie their shoes. Cuz that's correct
0:03 so accurate
Virginia should’ve been: “Could you be any slower? And you had your blinker on for the last 4 miles!”
As someone from North Carolina, I don't get the one for North Carolina.
i couldn't think of anything and then I saw that Krispy Kreme was founded there so I just went with it :)
@@THERANDOMSTUDIO101North Carolina has the Wright bros and our tag line is "first in flight" (don't listen to Ohio people who try to claim the Wright bros. They belong to NC.) So a flying clip would have been a solid choice.
@@LimeWedgeLoejYet no southern man could have built a plane 🙄
@@rustyshacklefordrefined5756
And yet it happened, lol.
@@THERANDOMSTUDIO101Krispy Kreme and Wright brothers are what come to mind. Outer Banks and Carolina Panthers come 2 mind as well.
I swear, SpongeBob has a scene for everything.
Idaho is my favorite place! 8:43
And Then Along Came ZEUS!
He Hurled His Thunderbolt!
4:23
0:35 bro did us CT folks dirty 💀
1:38 I get the Niagara Falls reference, but that only applies to Upstate New York!
