It’s been 8 years, this vid has reappeared on my feed after so long and I still haven’t made this yet.
Needed the reminder to give it a try
You can use sturdy metal wire to make a circle base that you can clamp the lid onto using paper clips, and the the rest of the wire can be made into a long handle. Then you can hold the candle by the handle with one hand and pour the wax with your other hand, so you don't need someone else to help you. (Sorry if my English is bad)
These are some really good examples of what is possible. Your colors are excellent choices.

For my Halloween I have this tradition that is to meet up with my BFF and we go trick or treating around this awesome community that does Halloween like pro's in every house they decorate really creepily once they left knives hanging from the front door! Then me and my friend have an epic sleep over with the candy as an awesome midnight feast!

That was soooo cool. I have never seen candle wax do that before. If I had known this years ago when my kids were little we would have 3 had so much fun. I will be passing this link on to my daughters. Thank you so much. So for our Halloween family ideas we would use lots of glow in the dark spider webs and put them everywhere. We also made a small cemetery in our yard with a spooky fence around it and flowers in it. My kids and I would also donate can food to the Christian Service Center in town to give back to the community.

in this video you said that you couldn't find black wax, you can make it very easily by taking hard white wax and a black crayon, put it in a jar together and melt it together and you get your black wax. you can do this with any color crayon.😆😊

We of course since childhood carve pumpkins , we cut a lid out on top of pumpkin of course an we put light inside but I took my kids when young trick or resting at our mall an to also our church where ppl decorate their cars n trunks really cool an the kids trunk or treat n inside church are snacks n punch n hang out with kids n families n we dress up as I'm sure u have herd. We decorate our place n I baked treats n handed out candy when we came home . Hello, I would like to know at what temperature you lead your wax, for me as soon as I removed the fire, she already begins to freeze.
I can not keep it long enough to work well with liquid.

+Marianne Facultatif thank so much dear! I don't know the excact temperature, once it's liquid, it's ready, but it hardens quickly I know. Maybe if you kept a container with hot water near by, to keep it while you work on the candle?!
Marianne Facultatif If your not working in your kitchen get a hot plate to heat the wax on. Same as the stove use a double boiler.

+Mika Chan Sailor At 2:17, it looks just like mermaids' fins. You can make a bun of messy fins at the end of the mermaid tail. Just saying :)

How did you get the purple color and is it safe to put a jar in a pan that has boiling water?
i loved the idea soooo much so i tried it out today, and unfortunately it didnt work as hoped. When i poured the wax into the my lid and dipped it into water ,yes swirly lines and patterns were made but they werent as tall at shown in the video, the wax only swirled to maybe 3cm of my average t-light . Can anyone give tips on how to improve this because i would love to try it out a second time ?
+Natalietheunicorn thank you! you can try pouring while dipping, that's what I did. it took a couple of failed attempts and surely it was much easier when there were two of us! hope this helped, please let me know how it goes!
