i was kinda skeptical with the pick at first but Donovan has proved me wrong just based off interviews alone. He’s such a down to earth and just all around great dude. He’s got a character every team wants in their locker room. He’s going to quickly become a fan favorite. Praying for a healthy and long career for you Big D!

@@ThatinParticular he def wasnt the nba ready talent that was advertised but losing hope on a 20 year old pg after a season is hella overreacting. Look at his stats the last 30-10 games TOs are def an issue but 19 9 4 on 41 39 77 is a step in the right direction.

Uconn fan here, live close to the campus and have met DC several times just being in the area. Never heard a bad word about him and in my interactions hes just a top notch kid.

I was so glad that Portland made the right decision to draft Donovan Clingan. His interviews lately are wonderful. Can't wait to see him in summer league, pre-season and regular season.

Ik Walton jus passed recently n understand the leagacy of him. The 32 clearly has a connection for Cliagan it sounds like (not jus a number to him). He prolly wouldn't do it out of respect which is 100% understood, I hope someone from the Walton family has reached out or will to bless him wearing the 32 for Portland. Same position as Walton also ironically. My gut says he would've reached out to him himself after talking to Cliagan n blessed him with 32. jus my 2cents.. he's gonna be good player!
When I watched the Phil Knight Nike early season tournament his freshman year Bill Walton was doing the UConn games and he loved Donovan as player.
