Some Ships Use ASTM Table to find VCF and WCF to find actual MT. What is the difference between between this ASTM TABLE method and your method ? Which is morr accurate ?
hi ! quick question. After calculating the corrected density, i’ve gotten 0.9685 instead of 0.9682. With that, my volume will be 285/0.9685 = 294.26m^3. From the sounding table, i need to interpolate the values to get the sounding depth @294.26m^3 May I know how u got 0.9682 for the corrected density? Thank you so much.
At the end of the video, sir mentioned about the, how to find metric tonnes (mass)- actual volume × temperature corrected density........ Sir r u saying actual volume of tank Or the volume we found one . Let me clear about this anyone
The reason for the choice (15 C) is perhaps slightly arbitrary - but the fuel company wants to be paid accurately for measured amounts of fuel, regardless of temperature. And, of course, customers cannot be cheated into paying for fuel they did not actually receive. So there are very precise density and volume correction tables to adjust for temperatures above or below the chosen 15 degrees C
Excellent thanks from Dominican Republic
Thank u very much
Really appreciate it brother.
Great explanation buddy ...keep it going
Hi friend how are you please show every things step by step about bunker and 4/E machineries and duties
Great Video, must see video for all 4th Engineers.
Very usefull... Clear explanation thank you

Whichever is available u can use that.
It’s just some company have specific Tables in their Format. Like ASTM IS AMERICAN standards
Well explained 👍
Superb explanation sir.thanks a lot
You're most welcome
how much metric tonnes we are going to be supplied, where are we getting that info from, for ex 285 MT u considered?
Is the TCF is the same for all HFO/FO around the world so i can still confident to use it's TCF number in different country?
It’s is same for all.
Nice & clear explanation many thanks
welcome
Excellent sir
Great vidio. Thnks
sir, can I ask what is the unit of the density @ 15 degrees Celsius?
Very nicely explained.
Good Explanation 👍
Please tell me how to take through sounding take actually want to know how to measure the ullage of the bunker tank plz explain
after stripping of the Cargo tank, how much usually is the remaining volume of oil in the Cargo tank, consider the trim and listing of the tanker?
In case of framo ships I have experienced around 5m3 to 8m3
That is very nice explanation. Please let me know name or source of this corrected density equation.
sir could u please briefly explain about how we calculated temperature corrected density?
Please explain further bunkering ,like ullage and everything
I will upload a new video with how to take Ullage and Soundings.
If I have trim - 1,56. How I must calculate ?
U need the Correction book supplied by the yard.
Thankyou sit very helpfull
In the last formula to find out mass the temp corrected density can we put 0.9682 as shown in the example.
Yes u can

I also got 0.9685
Sure. I will put a new video. With the calculations.
video on trim and heel correction plz
kindly let me know what exactly u want to Know about the heel ?
I will upload it today.
@@marinetimelapsetv9794 yes we apply trim correction can you please make a detailed video like this with example it wud be much much easier
Why you didn't use trim in this calculation??
we have to use trim in order to calculate bunker figures , but in case of a even keel which means incase of loaded ship the. trim will be zero.
bro can you please do a video about types of hfo ar mo and hydrologic oils onboard?! sure it will help alot to everyone..
Of course if you could pls specify what exactly u meant.
I need bunkering calculation with proper chart...

Y density of fuel is taken @15 degrees??

Sir pls make one video of m3 to MT
As a cargo surveyor I use astm tables 54b for vcf
That’s also works the same.
Even I also use the same for Bunker calculation.
hi what is you vcf at this question.i want to check my table 54b if still correct?
Sir, if bunker is LNG, will the computation be the same?
No Bro.
What is the requirements for becoming a bunker surveyor..I'm a mechanical engineer
I really have no idea bro but will ask the surveyor next time for u.
Thank dor this video
Sir .beech beech me topic change krne time jo voice over diye h .bahut irritating h . change krte to shi rheta
Ok Bro.
Goodmorning sir please send bunkar calucaltion
Where did you get the 0.9909?
The density is Provided in the BDN by the Bunker supplier.
Thanq so much sir
Welcome
Can u share the actual onboard paper and calculations of bunker.
surely let me know what exactly u need
Where we get 0.000645?
PL COULD U MAKE A VID ON SFOC CALCULATION
Please upload how do we calculate the consumption of F.O...please
Sure.
How to get noon to noon report of bunker please
Thanks sir
Welcome
What is 0.000645
correction factor according to chart
