Daily tank sounding and ullage is the job of the ratings and cadets on ships!
Ships have irregular shaped tanks and with all the movements of working at sea its difficult to know how much liquid is inside, so we use sounding and ullage methods to monitor them manually!
Lets learn a simple job with a big impact onboard.
