I’ve never seen anyone organize their single shadows in such an organic, appealing way. I’m so inspired to get into my shadows now and NOT align them to the edges. Thank you so much for sharing this content ✨
The amoeba is everything. It looks like the most glorious little solar system of color and texture and size - so incredibly visually satisfying and appealing! Give me controlled chaos any day
I don’t know if it’s the new camera or the mysterious BTS Joe tweaking but these two overhead videos looked noticeably extra stunning. The brilliance of the colors and variation in textures comes through much more clearly. So so lovely to watch. I hope you managed to find some peace and joy this Christmas. I too spent my first Christmas away from family in the NC mountains- I can’t believe we missed the snow! 😢
Hannah, thank you for your work in the world! I especially appreciate videos where you play with and celebrate what you already own. You have helped me both learn to appreciate what I have, but also appreciate what you have rather than deciding that what you have is what I need. Thank you for your perspective on beautiful things! Also, thank you for being open and honest through this incredibly difficult year. You kept me company almost every day since March and you will never know how much you helped me this year simply by keeping me company and sharing your perspective. Thank you!
Me too! Hannah's eyeshadow amoebas are what made me realise that I don't like straight organised lines of single shadows. It feels stale to me, whereas an amoeba make me want to finger paint 😍
It makes me so happy that you pulled that bright turquoise metallic from your declutter pile, to me it's definitely the most appealing shade in your whole Adapt collection.
I am being reminded that your single shadow videos were the first things I saw on this channel and it really sucked me in. But after a year of suppressing that wish and procrastinating I am still so in love with the idea of a mostly single shadow collection that my passion for starting that project has reawakened, and I’m really happy about that
Looking at those Adept shadows made me go to the website and create a palette then I took a minute and decided to go play with my own single shadows and try to replicate this palette I’ve just made. To my surprise I already had all those colors that I was lusting over so I assembled my own palette from my already here singles! I’ve been using and Loving it without purchasing the shiny new thing 😉 thanks for inspiring me to be a better conscious consumer.
I love any video where you are playing with your singles so much because I love your approach to colour organisation even though it is so different to the way I would tackle the same selection of shadows.
I wonder if you could use a small towel to clean in between instead of using so many paper towels. I love playing with singles and moving them around as well and a towel really helps with swatches and cleaning! I love your decluttering videos! they really help me go let go of things I don’t need or use!
Been longing to watch your single eyeshadow collection declutter and organising them in your palettes since you did these kind of videos last year. It's so incredible satisfying to watch! Can't wait for next year's videos!!!
These videos are soooooo helpful. I know only other makeup aficionados understand how this extends to all of life. On a more technical level it helps me to take ownership over all this “stuff”. I find it an adventure. It’s fun to find a hidden gem. It’s just so empowering to pull it apart and judge for oneself. I mean I really can’t even see these things, because I have palettes that were curated by a brand and the entire color story doesn’t make sense to me ☝🏼and this is the key: for my eyes, for my complexion, for my age, etc. The other thing I started doing recently is to stop looking at highlighters as not suiting mr, but experience them as eye shadows. That actually helped me dump even more inner eye brighteners.
This inspired me to organize my singles in a circle and I'm honestly here for it. I think the configuration with my varying sized shadows grouped by color has been helping me get inspired to layer to create new colors/finishes!!
That was so visually pleasing and relaxing!!! Single eyeshadow videos are some of my favourites on your channel, I’m always super excited to watch them. It’s interesting to examine my own taste compared to yours because there’s definitely some overlap in the colours we’re drawn to, yet when I look at your collection I’m noticing so much red and teal, while mine is full of purples and pinks lol
I like that there is still space available in your new larger Adept palette to fit new shades/pans in the future. But it worked out well to put the other square pans in there.
The big pan of only squares has MAJOR “Colourpop So Jaded palette” energy!! I love my so jaded palette so much because I can dupe any palette with it. I’d love to see some duping the vibes and creations with the rectangle pans!
I loved everything about this! I love single shadows, I love pressed glitters, I love moving things around in my magnetic palettes, and I love LOVE building little custom color stories! I hope you're having fun playing with yours. Thank you for sharing, Hannah! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas. 😊💜🎄☃️ P.S. I'm glad to hear you like the smaller, white Adept palettes! I had my fingers crossed I might get one for Christmas this year, but it didn't turn out that way. Maybe next year, though! I'm so drawn to that size and shape, and I'm a huge fan of Adept as a brand. I can't wait to try their eyeshadows one day! 💙
Love love love ur single eye collection, I myself prefer single shadows than an entire palette, I gave away a lot of my singles and palettes so today I think I’ll reorganize my singles again lol tfs this was fun!! A d yes I see. Both videos, I can’t wait to see ur looks with the small palette u made
I only discovered you fairly recently and I've been watching a lot of your single shadow videos. You've really inspired me to depot a lot of my palettes into single shadows so I can really curate what I want. Also it allows me to see all the colours I have and stops me buying more ☺️
These 2 videos were fantastic. I've seen you making smaller palettes so it was great to see how the big ones were made. Virtually all my eyeshadows pop out (ND, Viseart, & now some Lisa Eldridge) but finding a small palette with a clear lid is impossible. And if I had a bigger one I could raid the palettes I have for singles and give away the rest to my sister & her daughter, both of whom have just started wearing makeup and have the opposite colouring to me. I make some space, and they can experiment without wasting money.
I would love to see more videos on creating your curated palettes from singles! I keep all of mine in 1 big palette, but since I keep reaching for it I forget to use my regular palettes as well. This seems like it could be a fun solution to get me to rotate them more.
Now I feel like making a palette around some shades I am considering decluttering and some shades that are all-star favorites and maybe depotting a couple. This was lovely.
I love the little 6 pan you put together. Its very appealing. I also love the size of the white adept palettes. So often when building palettes from my singles I have wished for a 12 or 16 pan size palette to work within. I have never noticed you use it before.
I do a rotating makeup basket situation as a way of going through my belongings. I am SO INSPIRED right now because I have been trying to think of a way to revamp how I rotate through my many single eyeshadows and having a separate smaller palette and designated storage palettes is genius. SO PUMPED. Also I did a makeup advent as well for the second year, also inspired by you. My friends love doing it 🥰 This year I had them include a piece of jewelry for each day as well! Just a thought 😉
Hi Hannah! I’m really interested in starting to use single shadows but don’t know where to start when it comes to curating a collection of them. There’s so many brands to choose from and it feels a little overwhelming. Would you make a video sort of like your if I had to start over from scratch videos but with single shadows? Maybe it could be a collab with Lauren or Angie cause I know y’all all have incredible collections ❤️
I know you asked Hannah, but... a good starting point is colourpop BYOP deals in my opinion. And from there I really love the Menagerie Cosmetics shimmer formulas. Just as a starting point!
This is sooo satisfying to watch! Single shadows are the best🥺❤ I wish I could get my hands on more indie brands but they are so hard to get in the Netherlands lol
The concept of large storage palettes is so appealing seeing your set up. I bought a few quad sized palettes though from Makeup Geek and a Tarte palette the size of your old beat up one along with a couple 9 pans from MG and I love my current set up.
You made me want to go make a custom palette, but as of right now I just want all my single/depotted eyeshadows to be in their place and I just pick from there. That's just what's better for me in the moment.
I love the finished two palettes, very satisfying to look at 😊 I bought the lovely double fold adept palette because of you but I do find it annoying the double fold
I loved seeing your thought process here! Just thought I'd mention that the pink marbled Adept palette you're decluttering can't be repurchased, as that style and color has been discontinued on the Adept website.
I so loved watching you form the amoeba!! It was like watching your mind palace in action. I hope this was a good way to spend Christmas Day in lieu of, y'know.
Usually, in declutters, I'm rooting for the letting go team. But when you passed on the pink marble Adept empty pallette I suffered! 🤣 I almost wish to see a clip from this palettes' adoptive mother, just to check out if it's ok. hahaha
I recently tried some colourpop glitters.... like you I have hooded eyes and by the end of the day I had so much glitter all over my face.... is there something you do to help the glitter stay put? Or you just accept you will be a glittery disco ball by the end of the day
Aw man! That's frustrating. 😕 Thankfully, the pressed glitters don't move around at all on me, but I would think some glitter glue would really help. The NYX one is inexpensive and works great. I hope this helps. 😊
I don't know why they don't give me trouble! For some reason I rarely have fallout like this, even from them. But yes, a tiny bit of glitter glue would be my rec!
that black is so black that I literally couldn’t see it in the palette. wowww!!
Omg same, I thought she just left that spot empty!
Same! It was bothering me until I thought "Hanna wouldn't do such a thing"
A pun from my husband: "Ah, cleaning all your makeup holders... Starting the year with a palette cleanser, ey?" 🤓🎨😆
lol
Who doesn’t love a good pun!
Impeccable!
Why is playing with makeup and watching other people playing with makeup soo relaxing? 🤗🤗
When organizing and makeup collide, it's my happy place. 🤗
Colors and shapes man
It's so satisfying!
I watch this to sleep, wish I was kidding 😅❤️
I’ve never seen anyone organize their single shadows in such an organic, appealing way. I’m so inspired to get into my shadows now and NOT align them to the edges. Thank you so much for sharing this content ✨
The square and circle shadows all together and organised by colour is so satisfying 🥰
That little click-clack sound when you move shadows around in fast speed is a perfect soothing little sound ☺
Such ASMR vibes with those sounds of the singles being slotted into their places 🤤
Thank you!
The amoeba situation is so aesthetically pleasing to me
I was playing with my new watercolor palette & got the urge to paint that amoeba of eye shadow, it's beautiful.
Me too! Hannah's eyeshadow amoebas are what made me realise that I don't like straight organised lines of single shadows. It feels stale to me, whereas an amoeba make me want to finger paint 😍
I own a lot of different pan sizes too and also like the more organic look of putting the shades in color clusters.
It makes me so happy that you pulled that bright turquoise metallic from your declutter pile, to me it's definitely the most appealing shade in your whole Adapt collection.
I was happy to see her keep it too! It is beautiful.
agreed! it matches that amazing bastet noir dress too, i'd love to see those worn together
I am being reminded that your single shadow videos were the first things I saw on this channel and it really sucked me in. I was *just* thinking, I would love another eye shadow single video to watch. Very peaceful and comforting. Thank you so much, Hannah!
🦋💜🦋
Finally someone who is as manic as i am about palette organization and wanting them to fit perfectly!!!! ❤
Something about your videos is like wading into a cool pond on a summer day. They're so soothing. I'm gonna go play with my singles now.
It is SO satisfying to watch you organize the circular shadows, it's like a glam rock solar system
This was so fun to watch! I will genuinely miss everyday Hannah after this month.
Have you thought about keeping one palette in purgatory (if you do that in 2021) for brands that may send singles your way?
I don't wear eye shadow, but I enjoyed every second of this video. Thank you for a relaxing half hour Hannah!
Very generous to give all those shadows away with the pallet! It's a beautiful gift for someone
I love seeing you create custom palettes. You create color stories I wouldn't see, which I like, feels inspiring.
I love when your smile is audible in your voice, especially when you’re excited about giving gifts to others!
I wonder if you could use a small towel to clean in between instead of using so many paper towels. I love playing with singles and moving them around as well and a towel really helps with swatches and cleaning!
I love your decluttering videos! they really help me go let go of things I don’t need or use!

Hannah, I click SO FAST every time you post an eyeshadow collection/organization/declutter related video! They are my FAVORITE youtube videos! :D
Gosh this was so good to watch! I typically love rows but goodness the rounds look like a bunch of beautiful planets! Love what you ended up with!
I appreciate you too Hannah, and all the work you do filming videos for us. They're always so great.
These two videos were so relaxing and satisfying, I'm itching to wash my brushes tomorrow morning and create a fun eye look!
This inspired me to organize my singles in a circle and I'm honestly here for it. I think the configuration with my varying sized shadows grouped by color has been helping me get inspired to layer to create new colors/finishes!!
One of my favorite things is when you speed through wiping down and spraying the pallets and your area it's so satisfying to watch and to listen to
That was so visually pleasing and relaxing!!!
Your round pan palette looks very christmasy, lots of red, cranberry and green with a couple of neutrals.
It reminds me of the red / purple and green train that's been on trend lately. Idk if it's a thing others have noticed but I sure have.
I love that your mini palette is essentially duping the vibes of the ND Gold palette with glitter!
Oh, all the singles in those 2 black palettes is so satisfying!!
I loved everything about this! I love single shadows, I love pressed glitters, I love moving things around in my magnetic palettes, and I love LOVE building little custom color stories! I hope you're having fun playing with yours. Thank you for sharing, Hannah! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas. 😊💜🎄☃️

I love this type of videos! I love it so much I decided to start my own single eyeshadow collection 😍
I could have a picture of your rounded shadows organized in big palette on my wall, that was so satisfying to watch.
Love love love ur single eye collection, I myself prefer single shadows than an entire palette, I gave away a lot of my singles and palettes so today I think I’ll reorganize my singles again lol tfs this was fun!! A d yes I see. Both videos, I can’t wait to see ur looks with the small palette u made
This video is so inspiring...I always feel the need to clean and purge at the beginning of the year.
Never clicked so fast in a video! Relaxing time is coming ❤️
LOVE the circle shadow palette 😍
This was so satisfying to watch! Ooh I love this size of the larger Nabla palette
I love watching these videos. So simple yet so satisfying. Hope your doing ok today Hannah!
I only discovered you fairly recently and I've been watching a lot of your single shadow videos. You've really inspired me to depot a lot of my palettes into single shadows so I can really curate what I want. Also it allows me to see all the colours I have and stops me buying more ☺️

I've been neglecting my singles and now I'm feeling inspired!! Gonna go make myself a little custom palette!!
I want some of those shimmery singles!!! They are so pretty
Sienna is my FAVE Natasha Denona eyeshadow 🤩 Loved these last two videos. So very soothing to the senses! 🥰
I would love to see more videos on creating your curated palettes from singles! I keep all of mine in 1 big palette, but since I keep reaching for it I forget to use my regular palettes as well. This seems like it could be a fun solution to get me to rotate them more.
It is so satisfying to watch you declutter, listen to your thoughts! 💕
So happy to wind down this evening with your content ☺️
So much fun! Vocab word of my week: nonequisative. Oh Hannah! I love your muchness.
Stunning visually all the way through! Especially the circle pans sorted and the palette you created at the end.
This video was so soothing ! It was just what I was needing
enjoyed the declutter portion of this, and now really enjoyed your reorganization
Now I feel like making a palette around some shades I am considering decluttering and some shades that are all-star favorites and maybe depotting a couple. This was lovely.

I'm so excited to see the upcoming looks with this palette!
Hannah! Have you ever considered doing a Project Pan? I love watching those
The palette that you put together stole my heart
I've been looking forward to this 👏
Hi Hannah! I’m really interested in starting to use single shadows but don’t know where to start when it comes to curating a collection of them. Lovvvving your channel Hannah! 😃😍
A belated Merry Christmas! I know this Christmas wasn’t what we hoped it would be. But here’s to a better year!
This is sooo satisfying to watch! Single shadows are the best🥺❤ I wish I could get my hands on more indie brands but they are so hard to get in the Netherlands lol
HANNAH THOSE ROUND SHADOWS LOOK IMMACULATE TOGETHER I'M NOT EVEN SORRY FOR SCREAMING AT YOU😂😂😂
This was relaxing and inspiring! Thank you Hannah
The concept of large storage palettes is so appealing seeing your set up. I bought a few quad sized palettes though from Makeup Geek and a Tarte palette the size of your old beat up one along with a couple 9 pans from MG and I love my current set up.
So satisfying!!!!
Here for this tiled floor and amoeba!
This video was so relaxing :)
Loved both vids. A+ soothing content. Thank you. ❤️
Sooo satisfying to watch!
So aesthetic!
I’ve been waiting for thiiiis ✨ excited!
You made me want to go make a custom palette, but as of right now I just want all my single/depotted eyeshadows to be in their place and I just pick from there. That's just what's better for me in the moment.
This is clickety-clackety perfection! 😍😍. I love the groupings even the give away. What a yummy playground!
Does anyone else love the sound that the pans make as they are being moved around?
I love your voice, it's so sweet and soothing ☺️🌼🌟🧡
You were just mentioned in Abby Williamson's latest video 😍
This was so satisfying to watch 😊
"Approachable Amoeba of Eyeshadows" is now a thing, I think.
I love the finished two palettes, very satisfying to look at 😊
I bought the lovely double fold adept palette because of you but I do find it annoying the double fold
Stunning, thanks for the video!
I’m going to watch this video a billion trillion times
I loved seeing your thought process here!
Just thought I'd mention that the pink marbled Adept palette you're decluttering can't be repurchased, as that style and color has been discontinued on the Adept website.
“It’s not convenient for travelling.” 25:14 Travelling? What’s that? 🤣
I so loved watching you form the amoeba!! It was like watching your mind palace in action. I hope this was a good way to spend Christmas Day in lieu of, y'know.
Loved it !
I like the way you talk, pleasant to listen😊
is adept not selling single eyeshadows anymore?? i cant find them anywhere on their site but they look so beautiful!
Or you just accept you will be a glittery disco ball by the end of the day
Nyx glitter primer dabbed on your eyelid before using a glittery eyeshadow helps a lot. 🙂
I loved this! I'm getting so into s9ngle shadows! Is adept your favorite formula?
