@@jordandyche2371 yeah I know, and be out of more money for the grip module and mags. I’ll just wait until they offer the macro with the regular xl slide since I’ll never use the regular xl grip module anyways
why wouldn't you want the comp slide? sometimes fire comes out and that makes it more awesome. it scares the robber more and he will run when he sees it because it let's him know if the boolit hits him its gonna burn. his ass.
I own a 365 xl have the Holosun 507k on it and the stream light Tlr 7 sub on it and I love it went to the gun store saw the macro fell in love all over again and now have both. Both are perfect conceal guns and really can’t be beat but the macro is definitely my preferred when it comes to shooting experience still carry the XL daily tho for whatever that is worth.
I was a Glock purist for MANY years with the 26 & the 19 being my primary CC for nearly 10 years right up until the 1st time I put my hands around the P365XL !
@@imrankhawaja410 IMO its not that great of a difference....I own both an X MACRO & P365XL and after just a few weeks of shooting my new X Macro I took the slide & barrel assembly off my XL an swapped it out /onto the X Macro grip module because I prefer the longer barrel /better accuracy of the XL ....overall the real world/felt amount of recoil reduction on the X Macro is pretty minimal but the grip module that holds the 17 rnd mags is PERFECT for CC !
Your reviews are fantastic. Allowed me to compare a bunch of models via video vs at the gun counter. I picked up a 365xl and my wife got a p238 this weekend.
I've had a 43x,shield,and currently own a p365xl,but I always end up leaving home with my p30sk v1.i understand the hype over these slimmer, slightly lighter, high capacity models but I feel more comfortable with the HK.it still a great carry choice
Coming from a G19. This is big news. Never wanted to give up more rounds. So I just stuck with it. This X macro is taking its place. The G19 will be retired in the safe.
Great video, (as usual)! I have an H&K P30 SK with the light LEM trigger for my EDC. I absolutely love it and shoot "lights out" with it! Where did you find the extended mags for the P30 SK?
gonna stick with my x for now, mostly because I am broke lol would be a nice second option, maybe down the line I will get one, btw, they are going for $799 most places
I bought one a few months ago...had to send the Romeo Zero back to sig, sent a replacement for free, and I'm still having issues with the damn thing! I shot it without a red dot and still didn't print as good as I expected for the money. Will be going back to the range in a few hours to try and salvage this. If not, the whole thing is going on the chopping block!
Bought the Macro and it shoots reliable and accurate. If you are looking for a compact now it's a good option. The optional Large back strap and extra length for me offer great control. My HS507k fits perfect and low. If you have the XL wait for the grip.
Why are so many reviews done by people that didn't actually purchase the product with their money telling us that we should spend ours? Oh and i own this gun and carry it iwb at 3 ish oclock. Sometimes my shirt does get caught on the grip. So at this point this has reached my size and weight limit where i might as well carry a 19 that fills my hand better or even a p320 x compact.
I predict the military will jump to the p365 platform very soon. Since they use handguns as secondary weapons, the weight savings and thinner profile will make it worth the switch.
no way too expensive to swap out at this point. they need duty grade heavier and thicker. we just got them in september last year a month after i got out the navy.
This is a must carry for sure but truth is with SiG it’s best to wait for 2nd gen of every new model for them to work out all the issues. There has already been a lot of issues reported sadly but I’m sure SiG will fix all of them and in 2-3 years the gun will be pretty much 100% reliable
Let’s call a spade a spade. I’m sick of this new calling something a carry gun for 1 good carry attribute. It’s not a good concealed carry gun. I own it. It’s an awesome firearm and I do carry it but. I’d say at best it’s a good winter carry gun. If you are wearing a jacket cool but EDC carry year round the grip does not allow a good concealment. It is what it is. I’ll carry it every chance I get. I love it but in jacket weather only. With just a shirt it’s not nearly the best carry gun.
Man the p365 line is eventually going to have a 10 inch grip and still call it a carry gun like "bcuz the grip is skinny!!" Like nawww bruh...you gotta cut that shit off somewhere.
The Macro is almost the exact same size as a G43X or G48. I have a 48 I carry often, so the Macro is easily concealable. Then it’s the question of whether I would prefer a factory 10 round mag capacity or factory 17 round mag capacity, and that to me is a no brainer.
I compared the x macro to the P320 x5 carry in the store. They are the exact same hight and length. Only the macro holds 2 more rounds. I did this because I thought the same thing about 365's getting to big. Now I will be getting one.
Carry and Conceal don't mean anything anymore. They never meant much to begin with and words like "Micro" had to be tossed around. There are pocket guns and there aren't. Pocket guns are only going to advance so much until pockets start advancing. If it fits in the pocket it will conceal almost anywhere. Concealing guns in general is a huge ballpark of possibility where there are mfers walking around concealing G17's. If you restrict the concealment to situations where you are wearing particular clothes and concealing in a particular manner, you have a lot of "carry guns" that are falling out of the bracket. When you go back to the days where a G43 was somehow king to a lot of people, it was because it shot well and was literally a pocket gun. You could conceal it practically anywhere. Since 9mm bullet casings aren't getting any smaller there is a reasonable line of physics that manufacturers can either cross or not cross when continuing to call these guns compact and concealable. A true compact concealable gun in my mind is no bigger than a G43 which means it also doesn't come with the full weight of 15+ damn rounds. Imagine trying to tote a fully loaded Macro with any loads in a front hoodie pocket or something. This is why something like the 365 line is not exactly competing directly with Glock compacts IMO. I'm not going to use the 43 in any situation. I could see myself doing that with a 365 except for when I actually need a pocket gun.
Love my X Macro. Sold my XL
Absolutely love this gun, feels amazing in hand and so much more enjoyable to shoot than a standard 365.
I’ll buy a p365x macro once they offer a model without the comp slide. I just want the regular xl slide and barrel.

I prefer the comp myself. Had a XL and swapped slides of the XL to the Macro frame, and still preferred the Macro slide.

Personally I feel it’s good not because it’s a better 365. But as someone who likes a little bit of a larger gun it’s just a slim 320

Frankly, I've kind of nailed down my choices to either the p365 Macro, p365 380, or the Hellcat Pro. It's going to be one of those 3 pistols.
yea frank would have picked those three as well.
I have the Regular p365, the XL and just bought the P365-380. Love the 380 what a sweet shooter. Macro is next on my list.

Can the XL slide work on the X Macro frame?

probably not. because workmans comp.
