Looking back, I just realized that Casita may have taken over the town. Before it was limited to the house, now and now it was able to use the stuff from the pathway, something it wasn't shown to do before.

Exactly! Mitabel maybe the main hero but the casita helps way more. A.) It helped the madrigal family out to safety B.) It helped Mibabel to get the miracle even though it went out (sad) C.) It saved Mirabel and Everyone. So basically it's the hidden hero of the story. It needs SO MUCH more credit that it already has!!!
A fact I have just found. When Casita is kinda breaking down, Camilo and Isabel go to help Mirabel yes, but when their powers stop working, they are rushed back outside, and everyone except Mirabel is kicked out of the house, so Casita was trying to help Mirabel get to the candle, and Casita also protects Mirabel when it finally breaks down ❤❤
I mean the mountains are the place where the invaders killed Pedro, so she would not want them to come back and kill somebody she loves again. But true tho lol-
