I was wrong, it sounds a LOT like Somebody I used to know, even her lyric "someone I knew before" at 1.50, a bit rich don't you think?
Sounds similar but so what? All I know is that Gotye couldn't rock those pants.

I do have to admit that this sounds a little like Someone That I Use to Know. Only a little. Either way Bat did it better anyway.
