Remember when Bruno's perception of time slowed to a crawl during just one of Gold Experience's punches, while his sense of pain was exponentially multiplied? Now apply that to a beatdown more than twice as long as the one Steely Dan got from Star Platinum.
Cioccolata suffered more than every torture victim in human history combined several million times over AT MINIMUM before he finally died. Jonathan's drive for justice and resourcefulness combined with DIO's ruthless brutality is what makes Giorno so terrifying to face, and that is perfectly encapsulated with Cioccolata's punishment.

Price of shit deserved every punch, killing patients, driving old people in nursing homes to overdose and kill themselves. This moment was coming to him from the very start. The shit deserved it
Don't forget, Gold Experience has the ability to make someone's consciousness go berserk, making them feel pain tons of times worse. Plus they feel like time has slowed down for them.
I like to think Giorno used it on Cioccolata to make his suffering worse in the 7-Page Muda.

DIOの用心深さと、ジョースターの策士っぷりを併せ持ってるんだから、そりゃ強いわ
Just... the composition of all the elements of this scene as a whole... masterful. The way the intense music switches to a hushed, tense, ambience around 2:37, despite Cioccolata's head almost exploding, really makes it feel impactful. Notice again how the way it switches to almost total silence around 3:18, making Giorno's fairly straightforward speech feel weighty and significant. THEN the lighting changes and in total silence he drops his coldest line.
The 7-page muda is great, obviously, but what I think makes it all the more amazing is this KILLER build up to it. The PACING, the COMPOSITION, the SOUND DESIGN, the MUSIC, all come together to make your body just PRIMED for something exciting. AND THEN we get one of THE most intense and well deserved beatdowns of the series. Again, just masterful, I love it.
Careful Giorno, your DIO is showing.

I just realized how clever the writing is in situations where Mista is out of commission. For those who don't know Mista's stand, Sex Pistons, are 6 small people who deflect his bullets to hit their target and number 1-7. They skip the number 4 because Mista views the number as a sign of bad luck. Technically number 5 is actually number 4, and so on. So, technically speaking, the only one remaining when Mista is in grave conditions, is the one that represents bad luck to him.

Knowing the pain increases with each hit this gets all the more satisfying.
The 6 page muda is satisfying and all, but with how sick and twisted Cioccolata was with brutally torturing people to death I kind of wanted to see this part shown through his perspective similar to how Bruno felt when GE made his senses hyperactive and thus felt the full intense pain of every subsequent punch in slow motion. Hell, Cioccolata's the one who really deserved to go through GER's infinite death loop over Diavolo all things considered.
Remember the whole every punch makes time feel slower and his punches feel more painful?

It actually happened at 3:40, you can see Giorno's aura and if you listen closely, you can hear the life giving sound effects
Can we just appreciate how Giorno knew the exact extent of his injuries? He doesn't have any medical training! But he knew exactly how bad his injuries really were.

When I first watched this beatdown, I was literally screaming "YES" out loud repeatedly.
dio is looking up from hell, smiling with pride at giorno in this moment

Imagine cioccolata is in berserk mode, he experienced 9 hours of muda
He was in beserk mode.

I'm assuming that since the punch that Giornio hit Bruno with originally only actually took maybe a tenth of a second, but it felt like 10 seconds in slow motion, Choccolata felt the whole entire beatdown over the span of many minutes. You can hear at 3:40 Giornio is using the life overcharge technique on him, so you know he was beating him while purposefully keeping him alive. Remember that the life overcharging makes pain feel worse too.
