Deborah as a DM is just amazing, she not only has flawless acting and storytelling skills, she also excels at leadership and community building, the teams she puts together always have great chemistry and everyone looks so happy and engaged. I love watching anything she DMs! Thanks for bringing her to D&D Live!! :D
I always click like on all of Deborah's D&D videos: huge fan of hers even before I knew she played my lifelong favorite game. But I am a SUPERFAN of the lovely Amy Acker! I am so grateful she decided to try her hand at the game, as first time playing also being on air would seem daunting, but it totally works!🤩💥👍
When Matt Mercer says you are an amazing DM ,that is saying a hell of a lot .After playing with Deborah on SOME, (Stream of many eyes) ,his reaction on critical role was exactly that."Amazing,Badass" and he is absolutely right,Deborah is brilliant, beautiful, elegant and graceful, a true lady in my eyes , huge crush here.Same with Amy Acker, since I first saw her covered in dirt in a burlap bag on angel, to see them both together here was a dream come true.I want more of this story, and some more relics and rarity's .Someone better make that happen. They would be fools not to!
I appreciated Matthew's little interactions with the other players, to try to get them more engaged. For example, asking Amy to look for traps on the bridge, handing Sam the torch, protecting the young wizard, etc. He was a good assistant for the DM in that regard. As always, I love Deborah's DM skills.
Wow. What a great one-shot. It was really nice getting to see Deborah facilitate so much experimentation and learning with all of these brand new players. It was also super nice getting to hear Matthew’s character’s reaction to, y’know, *everything*!
WOW!!!!! i LOVE this. Just like Video Games, i can Proudly say i was there from the Beginning. Late 70's,early 80's . Heading to my Friend's Basement After School For the Third Day in a Week Long Campaign.
Deborah you did such a fantastic job. I absolutely loved Relics and missed it afterwards. Everyone did great and the adventure was fun to watch! If only we could see more!!!
Deborah is absolutely amazing. She is so warm. Her charisma is drawing everyone in. She is the perfect DM for newcomers. I love her story telling, too.
@@tusktooth4122 that and Fred(Winifred) on Angel (Buffy spin-off). Also on The Gifted, that X-men lite show. so basicly, if you're into a certain type of shows she is kinda an Icon
Not that i could afford it, but would love to pay Deborah to come and run a one shot for my group. She’s a great storyteller and has so much passion for the game. This was a great game!
Deborah has been my Hollywood crush since I first saw her in Trueblood and seeing this just sealed the deal. She's always going to be my favorite actress.
@@randomcitizen9960 I'm still a major Karen and Frank shipper, not gonna lie. Their chemistry was palpable. Jon Bernthal needs to reprise his role in every Punisher-themed MCU project, going forward.
I'd like to give a shout out to Janina Gavankar: I loved your character in 'Star Wars: Battlefront II', and was really disappointed when the game didn't tie into 'The Last Jedi' and 'Rise of The Skywalker'.
Dexter The story add-on ends with Iden’s daughter being sent to gather allies as 8 is happening. She should have been involved with, if not leading the fleet that shows up in 9
Deborah is such a great DM, I wish she had her own stream. Love how excited Janina got to all of Deborah’s description and how everyone was getting more confident at the end.
I'm amazed that I'm watching actors from days of old play a game that I know very little of..Played twice I would play , I'll ask around but ppl in my neighborhood won't admit playing DnD hahaha. Wish me luck hahaha
GG Deb! Descriptions were clear. That ending was actually really nice for me. And everyone were in character and were wonderful! Awesome to see Mr. Lillard. Fav part was when Jae was asked to transform, that look lol.
Deborah does a good job as DM, especially for only having done it for a couple of years. I'd like to see her players challenge her a bit more, as she seems to be a bit too much in control sometimes. I think that could help her grow into a great DM.
I love seeing new people playing D&D. And I'd be even happier if I thought most of these people would continue playing in their own time instead of just as paid public appearances. But either way. I love Deborah. She's such an engaging DM. I'd play with her any day.
Yassss! I love DND and I'm of a fan of the panel, especially Deborah Ann Woll. I am still praying for a season two of Relics & Rarities and a return of Daredevil on some othet streaming service. Deborah, you are a masterful DM and the love for the game just seeps out of you as play. All the girls here are extremely super beautiful 💛. Congrats on Amy playing for the first time, and its great to see Matt, Sam, and Janina return. The Escape Room was excellent and Both Jay and Deborah were brilliant in it. Please continue with these, for the love of God ☺👍👍. Also, I would love to see you do a Let's Play of the upcoming Baldur's Gate 3 game, if that is at all possible. In fact, you can all play together as a group online 👍👍. The computer/game would be the DM, and you can play along with others and form a party.
I recommend making a quick reference sheet for your character with categories like bonus actions, reactions, damage types, targeted saves, weapon and spell ranges, what recharges on short and long rest, concentration spells, ritual spells, and so on. You can cram a lot of easy to sort and find information on a single page using 2 vertical columns tracking all these things and more. This is incredibly useful for both new and experienced players as you can instantly see all you can do with specific actions, abilities, attacks, spells, unique class abilities that are hard to remember, background features, even a "who's who" section to keep track of your party info (irl names, char name, pronouns, discord name, etc).
Great group. Of the group I've been a fan (and knew of) Deborah Ann the longest by far, 2nd would be Matthew Lillard but I've seen everyone appear in things. apparently I saw Janina around the first time I saw Deb (True Blood) but for whatever reason I didn't follow her like I did Deb as far as shows go. Deb is a fantastic DM and I agree with some others -- I pretty much auto-like any content she puts up. As a DM myself and long time fan of the game this stuff makes me happy. Our hobby has come so far in the (over) 30 years I've played. And I'll stop my rant with a funny thing....to think my boss thinks DnD is ridiculous because only kids play and its only full of nerds (yeah I joke back with him on that).... he thinks no woman play to boot. LOL as I watch a stream with three very attractive women play...yeah boss totally...sure.
I really enjoyed the game. Deborah is GREAT. Sadly I really hope Sam gets a decent mic before next episode (hoping there is one). His mic literally killed my ears, started trying to mute as soon as he started. Great episode, only pointing out the negative as I hope to listen to more.
15 minutes in, and with one exception, it is going much how I would expect. I know Sam has an improv background, so I knew he would be great, and Janina also did the League, which was improvisational, so I figured she would also do well, even if it was the first time for both of them. I know Deborah and Matthew were already D&D players, so I knew they would be good as well. I had never heard of Jay, but he seems to be able to keep up so far. The one surprise is Amy Acker; she is my favorite actress, and I know she had done Shakespeare at Joss's house, so I assumed she would be doing much better, as far as keeping up and contributing. I know it is her first time with D&D, and I hope that she enjoys it, but so far it seems like she is more of a fly on the wall. She is such a good actress, and I had assumed she too has probably taken some improv classes, so I guess I expected her to dive right into her character, as Sam, Janina, and Matthew quickly did. Her intro and limited contributions so far consisted of her race/class, and a rough description of items that she possessed (which actually reminded me of Britta in the D&D Community episode, lol), but I guess given her acting skill, I assumed she would dive a bit past the surface and into who her character is (background, motivation, etc.), much like Janina had done right before her (didn't just list class/race, but explained a bit about her history and personality). I have to have to stop now and come back to watch the rest, but my hope is that my favorite actress can find her footing, and jump into the ruckus. Perhaps a bit more character development beforehand (doing actor-y stuff like "sense memory" exercises or whatever) would've helped, but I know my girl has the chops to steal the scene, if she can just get acclimated. I'm glad that she is laughing and seems to be having a good time, but she also seems nervous and disoriented at times, and I just hope that she also gets a chance to shine in the spotlight; I want to see more of her, and I have a feeling that if she gets to come through at a crucial moment and cause the team to rejoice in her success, she will be hooked, and want to play more.
Couldnt stop laughing with Matthew. He symbolized every adventure I used to play...getting into character and staying there til the bitter end. And if I'm not wrong, they never did pick the statue back up after hitting the door with it. So wasnt it left back in the room? Lol Would love to see this group continue on...to see what happens to them next 😁
This was so fun. I was so sad when it ended. I would love to know what the new players thought of it (Amy, Janina, Jay). Towards the end i thought they were really into it. Good Job to the entire party (And DM!).

YES more R&R!!! It's my favorite D&D show!!
Seconded! er, thirded! I miss R&R for sure.
I really like how she adjusts the story based on what the players decide. Occasionally, veering way off on a hilarious side track. :)

She has one Relics and Rarities I think it’s called. It’s behind a paywall though.
Relics & Rarities is on hiatus now, and has been since last fall (if I remember correctly).
