- heartbreaking treasure found metal detecting Seal Beach during a low tide. 2 rings and a 18k not so gold cross and a lot of coins found using my Minelab Equinox 800 with the 15" coil.

Ever since you found the gold chain in the sock, I never let one go uninvestigated. One day while checking one I got no beeps or chirps and was about to walk off but a little voice in my head wouldn't let me. I picked it up and turned it inside out revealing $68 in cash. Just because a sock doesn't beep, doesn't mean it isn't full of treasure.
Normally I notice if a sock has been squared out by the shape of cards and cash, good point I need to remember that. Thank you 🤙

Your in Long Beach, Calif. I was raised there. Seal beach was where I had my very first jellyfish attack. I was a kid back then, but since that day I have NEVER been back to Ocean water again. And I’m 63 now. Them jellyfish taught me a lifelong lesson.

That pocket knife is a Columbia River Knife and Tool Septimo worth about $60 and someone is pissed they lost it for sure. Great finds all the time!
That would explain why the knife was in such good shape, most are usually destroyed by the ocean. Thank you 🤙

I hunted on Kadena Air Force Base today and found a whole pouch full of Nickels! They ring the same as the Japanese one dollar coin! Fun hunt, stay out of the water.

Jim right where you found that Crucifix is where I found a Rose Gold Diamond ring last year. It's a bummer that the Crucifix wasn't solid 18k, but still a really cool find. Keep up the great videos and maybe I'll see you on the beach sometime.

The CRKT knive is actually a pretty good brand knife. I'm calling a platnuim ring with a tent stake in the hole.

Hey Jim,,,The Cross you found in this Episode with the Fake 18k Stamp. Well check this out. I live up here in Tuolumne ca, and there's a Black Oaks Casino here in town and across the way there's a gas station,BEAR CREEK. ANYWAYS I stopped to get gas in my work truck and had a worker with me and 2 Arab ladies we're driving in separate car's stopping and asking people that they need gas money too get home and they we're using 18K rings as a pond too get the money and they had kids with them. I looked at some of the rings and it just sounded too good too be true. They went as low as 20 bucks for one and my buddy that was with me I did up buying 1. Anyways the next day he took it too a Jeweler and they told him it was fake. LOL 😂. Anyways I seen that cross you found and it reminded me that day how my buddy got Scammed . Take care Jim, thought I would share that with you. Happy Hunting👍

Jim when have you found is the best time to detect on the beach I usually go after everyone leaves but I see you go early in the morning.
Usually the tides dictate time I hunt unless I am hunting dry sand then late afternoon after most everyone has left the beach. Thank you! 😎👍

after getting it out of the hole it rang up a high tone 26 on my Nox and that is what made me curious. Penny, quarter and kay is a great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
Growing up in the 70s and 80s, my guess is that that big gold crucifix belongs to an older Italian guy. Maybe someone else found the chain. It’s a shame they got scammed on the 18k!
