The Underground Church in China is by far the most attacked. Love them dearly.
If pastors are preaching the true Word of God, they won't have enough members in their congregation to be a mini church let alone a mega church. They will be a church that is persecuted for their beliefs. Mega churches are ear tickling gospels according to the world, not God's Word. God said they will hate you because they hated Me. The path is narrow and there are but few that find it.

GOD has to get ahold of them; at that point they have to make a choice.
South Korean Christians are pretty hardcore though. They'll be praying with you all over the place. Regardless of doctrine, I'd have to say that Christians in South Korea are more devout than they are in the U.S.
Too bad they got exploited. The most devout group of Christians being led into false doctrine. Yes they are saved, but lots of deception here.
It used to be...but unfortunately not anymore. Heaps of mega church are all rotten to the core. They have accepted and agreed with WCC and part of people admire Kim Jong-Un which is face against God's sovereignty. I reckon that underground church in North Korea is much better than South Korea's church
I know of one church in South Korea that prays and reads the Bible 24/7 and helps refugees from North Korea.

I live in Chicago area near Willow Creek Church, Pastor Hybels was removed last year for sexual harassment and having affairs.
And another mega Church in my area was in the news a couple weeks ago. I guess the pastor and some of the elders stepped down because they got caught acting inappropriately and got the church into over 40 million dollars debt. Very sad indeed.
why have you left out the catholic church ?
When you mentioned Calvary in Ft. Lauderdale, my heart sank. I dropped off someone there once, and I asked her how the church was, and she said she had never been there before, her mother-in-law had invited her to their Christmas shindig. When we got there, we both commented that it looked like government centers with a shopping mall rather than a church. On our way up to the main building, there was a woman in her Sunday best puffing away at a cigarette, while people walked past without a glance or word. The main building looked more like a mall than a traditional church. I've never seen anything like it
what preachers DO teach SOUND DOCTRINE?? so I can learn from the correct teaching.
I did not think about these mega churches around the world. thanks for inspiring me to look into these matters more.

Pastor i don't go to these church's around here an i can't go anywhere else am disable an i watch ur video's to see what's in them then share them with the youth to help them that can't go to ther church's around them an ur a great youth Pastor an if they get started with good wisdom an knowledge now maybe they will be better Pastor's an will not be in these church's...
Universal church in Brazil is very big and the pastor is a millionaire. It has almost 6 millions members.
Is he biblically sound or heretical? Cause rich with a big church doesn't mean much. I've been to an heretical struggling church.

Yes, I thought so also..Given their huge influence in the music biz...I have had a few years now learning about Bethel, for a while..I almost wish I had not turned down the invitiation to go on that Friday night in Redding, CA....so I could have seen the inside...and see what they were all about in person..However; at that time I has nothing to do with churches and had not read my bible years after being baptized...Today, it is a different story.....Multi-million dollar "church" businesses and marketing schemes...What is new?!

I suspect that most churchgoers sleep through tedious sermons or pretend to be listening to the passionate pastor while actually thinking about other interesting things like dating and cheating on one's spouse et cetera. Then why do they flock to churches? To seem very devout and holy, I guess.

Amen and amen! Charismatic they are pick and choose and all they did its healing, prophecy,speaking tongues,laying sprit and go by feeling and emotions and the words of Faith! Always crying for money,one time they were prophecy my friend she will getting Marriage soon, it been over ten years now she still single! I always doubt everything they did , and I told her don’t believe them . I always check the Bible I think is wiser . I hope those riches pastor they use money to help the needy.
