I watched this guy once in Botswana around 2009/10. He was soo beautiful. I was really hurt when i learnt he had passed on. He was one of the greatest musicians of his generation. Rest in peace Nana!
From all the way from Eswatini with love to Stimela.......reminds of my boyhood days . This song was a hit those years . May their souls rest in peace . Amen
YE Madoda, lalelani iinsimbi, the intrumental backing is just out of this world. Best live performance ever for this song, great composers and performers. Stimela must be proud to have had Nana Motijoane in their fold. HE DID justice to this song. LIQINISO LELO MADODA. I am proud of our South African Music. We stand our own!
The music of Faso is an inexhaustible source of sweetness. It allows us to plunge deep inside ourselves and at the same time resonate with our fellow man, Yé Lassina Coulibaly❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Everything about this performance is excellent! I am embarrassed to admit that I knew nothing about this fellow and Stimela, even though I have been a fan of Ray Phiri's since I saw him on Paul Simeon's Graceland album and performances in or about 1987. I had not heard this beautiful song until just yesterday, and hearing it was because I heard of Ray Phiri's death and was exploring his musical exploits. It is sad that Africa has lost these two brilliant and exceptionally talented human beings. On this performance though, can anyone tell why that lady backup singer (in the middle) always twisted her head to her right every time she belched "I am inspired, I cannot understand hate"? That was kind of funny.
