i tried it with Markyn, but to get to 30k health i would have to spend some points into health. that would mean less Magicka. so Sithis was the mythic piece of choice for me. Markyn works great too, though. if you're in a group with a healer even better than Sithis..
Do you have a video of some playthrough with this build? Just came across it looking for something for a new character and I am recreating it now, but would love to see some play testing so I can mimic the rotations until I find my own rhythm. Many thanks in advance. ☺️
Wow rattlecage might be really good tbh. Having that extra ability slot is underrated. I feel like mechanical acuity might be better than war maiden tho.. not sure
possibly. but since you can't use MA in no CP i have opted for War Maiden. Templar's damage is all Magic damage, so that 600 Weapon/Spell damage increase is nothing to scoff at..
@@theinquisixion8134 yeah that’s my bad I actually forgot it was a no cp build lol. I wanna try war maiden. The problem for me is that I use meteor and war maiden would be wasted with that
@@Barba223 i would try to make a case for the Crescent Sweep here - it's cheap, it gets bonus damage from War Maiden, extremely hard to dodge or block and deals a ton of DoT damage (that can't be avoided if it hits the target). on the other hand Meteor (and/or morphs) is more expensive, can be blocked easily (you can see the telegraph before the impact), players can walk out of the AoE after the impact so they only take minimal damage from it, all in all i would take Crescent Sweep instead of Meteor any time. not trying to convince you, that's just what i'd do..
@@theinquisixion8134 yeah I feel that. Problem with sweep is I play a ranged magplar build right now so meteor is easier. Also I find a ton of success using a javelin right before meteor because it can’t be blocked
@@Barba223 hmmm, that is actually a great idea. Javelin and Meteor together. must try it tomorrow. thanks for that, appreciate the suggestion. or, as my grandad used to say - "you learn something new every day". in that case i will probably try the New Moon Acolyte instead of War Maiden..
hi there, it's because of the 2H passives, mainly Follow Up (When you complete a fully-charged Heavy Attack, your next direct damage attack used within 7 seconds deals an additional 10% damage), Forceful (Your Light and Heavy Attacks damage up to 3 other nearby enemies for 50% of the damage inflicted to the primary target) and Battle Rush (Increases your Stamina Recovery by 30% for 10 seconds after killing a target). all useful in PvP. i know that DW gives you more diversity, as you can use more types of weapons, but i'd still go with 2H maul, since it gives you more penetration. but it's a matter of preference, i'd say, so if you prefer DW go with that..
Really solid build. I opted for Markyn but would absolutely go with Sithis as non Vamp.
