Love your little Vanden Plas and you got a real bargain. It was well worth the wait. It looks beautiful and the damask red looks to have a good depth of shine. I'm pleased that you can pronounce the name properly too many people nowadays pronounce the S. The keys on the counter just made me think- Proper keys none of this modern day new fangled electricary that can cause no end of issues to replace. In those days you just went to the local garage/halfords /key cutters and thats it all done. I remember somehow i left my keys in my Marina the drivers door closed and i couldn't get in. What do i do? I walked into town to my local high street Halfords when they used to be a good motorists shop and stocked lots of good things(not any more and not in the high street either) they gave me a board full of keys to try. Went home found the key to open the door and took the keys back. Cost me nothing. The P6 did look particualrly nice and it suits the Lunar grey.Its a nice colour. The little Metro your correct its Arum White. The 1300 estate i remember sitting in the boot ,me and my sister as we went of with the family to a local fair. 6 of us didn't have things such as seat belts then. The twin carb marina in citron was a popular colour for them cant say i was keen on the colour but its great its survived they are a rare sight. Lovely to see so many VP 1500 together. Fantastic. The equipe so rare. So many nice cars its impossible to choose a favourite. Enjoyed the video thanks for sharing the day.
