Awesome update, David! You are single-handedly opening the world of luxury yachts to the average person. From there dreams of ownership and for some, reality!
Well holland is just the name for two provinces in the Netherlands. One is North Holland with the capital, the other is south holland with the main port and government seat.
11:07 I'm not going to say it's going to be the most exciting thing on youtube... but if you are into yacht, it's going to be the most exciting thing on youtube!!!! 🤣 👏🏼
65 comment showing: cats back right leg so weak it can't jump up on table chair either usually seat, so on couch, but crap back to healthy range 1st time in nearly 4 weeks. He didn't eat much & temp dropped back in winter again 4/2/21' after heavy! & brief warm up for a week.
Ever since the Dutch East India Company (VOC) over 700 years ago the Dutch have done battle with the Sea. Both these 3 ship builders are simply unrivaled in their quality and reliability.
Great profiles of these builders. Their abilities to construct these floating palaces is astounding and I've been admiring their work for years. The evolution of yacht design and construction has been a sight to behold! Thanks so much, David, for this excellent overview of some of the best in the business.
I wonder about safety and security. There are many desperate crazies in the world and how do you keep armed Somalis at bay? I was once on a superyacht of an Saudi prince and I was told it was built from specs that requiered it to be able to withstand an Exocet missile attack. That was quite something, I must say.
Your channel is the most exciting thing *for me* on RUclips! Keep it up, David! Only suggestion: skip the "pointing" to other videos at the end - the thumbnails do not appear in sync with your pointing and, besides, everybody knows how to click on those thumbnails to find more videos from you.
I think this vlog series is a good idea; you bring a more human aspect to these builders. I hope that in the future, you'll give Germans the same treatment; Abeking & Rasmussen, Blohm & Voss and Lurssen are among my favorites.
Hey, 2 years ago I found a yacht called Hargrave 80 voyager, and I cant really find a good walktrough of it. I dont know if you ever covered hargrave yachts in one of your videos, but it is a really nice company with even better yachts, I think you would have the influence etc. to do a walktrough of eventually that yacht in particular, but also cover hargrave and other yachts. Greets from germany and keep up the good work and high quality vids :)
Did a hd-pe welding job on location at feadship at de kaag, very intresting and professional to see them working on the ship, its their lastest 94m build
I love your Channel very much, thank you Can you explain why no one design any yacht use wind turbine for run a yacht ? That way can save a lot energy Thank again
@@pauljanjacobs I love the Dutch & think highly of all Dutch people. But I admit I hate all communist Chinese plus all Muslims & Google & RUclips employees
I don't like the cable in the back of the ship. It would be nice if they have the bridge closer to the front of the ship then I would be more interested in buying one of them with more space on the ship in cabin.
Feadship is definitely a favorite, however, I will say that the Oceanco is definitely a close second. I like the style of a yacht who could be mistaken for a cruise ship. Having my dithers monetarily speaking, that is what I would have: a yacht which contains staterooms with balconies only.
now i love oceanco just as much as the next guy, believe me i worked on the Bravo Eugenia and another 125m beauty which will reach the media this year i think. but to be honost, you don't see the problems happening in the build till its ready or either the fuckup is just so expensive that it gets leakt generally
David, could you elaborate more specifically on what exactly these builders are doing to enhance their levels of quality over the rest of the builders?
I would love to build a yatch from scratch with some specifications which I cannot drop here but I seem to prefer the sinot yatch design architecture.. What do you think about Sinot?
The country of Netherlands David, Netherlands. Holland is a county. Or rather two counties. It's like saying England includes the whole of UK. So unless the actual shipyard isn't in the county of Holland, then it's in the Netherlands. It's annoying with these minor errors, that totally takes away from your credibility. Also, women can be yacht owners, keep that in mind next time you talk about owners....
Feadship has, Feadship does. You are selling high end yachts, make sure your english is good. A company is always a single entity, same for families when talking about their name. The Damen family is, not are.
Although I'll never can afford a 30m+ yacht, I like this guy 😉. Very likable and relaxed talking, like it 👍.
Never say never.

Its the Netherlands
Not Holland.
You wouldn't call Scotland England either.
Dang: good catch.
Next video: Royal Huisman & Vitters!
Awesome videos by the way.

Dutch built is a whole new class of its own.
Interestingly ‘Icon’ the yacht was used in DC’s Universe in The Justice League film as lex Luther’s yacht at the end of the film.
Great idea to give an overlook over all those yachtbuilders. I hope there will also be vlogs about German, Italian and British yacht builders :-)
Always a good video from you, David. Love your delivery and information.
Always getting better. Keep it up Dave. Onwards and upwards!

Whoa- those Germans are no slouch in the business either! B&V are now owned by Lurssen and I'm anxious to see what that combo does together.

Lucky you! If I weren't too old and retired now I'd give my eye teeth to work at one of their yards. Their craftsmenship is impeccable!
Excellent David! Looking forward to the next video of this series. Always a joy to see one of your well produced videos.
Love this video David! I hope this becomes a series with you featuring other cities. And a docuyacht video!! Excited about that!
3:41 You've put a description of their RUclips channel in the link below. Wait a second, what? :'D
Yep...you spotted my fumble. I only noticed after we had finished recording!!!
Awesome video can't wait to see that conversion video you come out with
I worked on Illusion during her refit in 2004 in Makkum at Amels. I spent some quality time with the Designer and her crew. Good Times.
I love your Channel very much, thank you

Ragnar is interesting
She'll be featuring in another video very soon. I was filming her last week, there are a few teaser photos on my Instagram page! /yachtsforsaleblog

This has to be the ugliest boat I've seen a big hatchet nose but nice I guess if it weren't for that nose
Black Pearl is owned by a Chinese man, who made the request for a very specific S/Y.
Gekoloniseerd
One good video after another. I feel like I’m in yacht school. I can’t think of a better subject to study. Thanks David!
"Now that is quality"
Powered by who? Lmao Really??? Stealth Yacht lmfao rofl yes!
Nice.
Agree Holland would be my choice, together with Germany.

I wouldnt want to be mistaken with a cruise ship to be honest
If I won the lotto I would get 1 built. :D
I been looking at that poster you’ve got about the floor plans could you give some details about it please

Would love an Italian version of this kind of video
💗
Many breathtaking boats! Really nice video. Thx!
Great information on the yacht building world.
Bravo.
The Ragnar yacht is La Datcha right?
David, could you elaborate more specifically on what exactly these builders are doing to enhance their levels of quality over the rest of the builders?
their Dutchness.
Icould never afford a yacht but i still love youre content. Keep up the great work

Sinot is a design studio, not a shipyard
bad audio volume.
Thank you
Only a way of money laundry for the maffia
How much you get paid to do this
