About Zack Snyder's Justice League
In Zack Snyder's Justice League, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad, and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.

"I'm not broken. And I'm not alone."
Epic
I love that line 😭
Slightly better line than "booyah."
Dude, Cyborg may be my favorite character in this movie. He was so well acted, written, and his backstory really tugs at the heartstrings. This is one of my favorite pieces from the movie’s score.
Move over Booyah
This whole sequence was beautiful, emotional, perfect
I wish the scene was on RUclips
@@pablomuniz3039 I think the high quality uploads of scenes of the movie always come a little later after the release
@@filmpalace2426 yep, sounds quite right
@@pablomuniz3039 i like when Steppenwolf came through the door growling
@Frogger no actually this was all filmed back in 2017. Then WB cut it all out and made the movie into the abomination that is 2017 justice league
I like the scene where Cyborg took the time to help a struggling mother. He had every reason to hate the world after his accident and susequent transformation. He had all of this power to control and dominate the world. Yet, despite having all the power to lash out against the world, he stayed true to his humanity and chose to help this family in need, which is remarkably touching and establishes him as a hero.
Yeah, that’s what I loved the most, the first thing he chose to do with his newfound powers was to help a struggling mother.
@anon
V
@anon and Cyborg's ability to empathize parallels Clark's ability to empathize as well. He truly is the heart of this movie.
I mean it took little to no effort so he was like might as well. He hates life but hasn’t lost his humanity, if anything he’s the same exact person he was before he became Cyborg. Doing that was just what any other person would do if they had his power.
@anon Just like Barry, who made "the rule" to not spam the speed force in order to rewind time not only for selfish reasons but he himself doesn't know the ramifications if he did. It's a scary power to have. Superman with all the powers he has none of them involve the ability to control time itself.
The Cyborg arc alone demonstrates that an entire solo film isn't always necessary to give the audience a complete sense of who the character is as a person. The way his sequences were stitched together and was essentially its own short film weaved inside an ensemble film is masterfully done. Definitely not an easy feat.
agreed
I mean I agree with the sentiment but not every film has a 4 hour luxury. If Snyder made a film the length of the theatrical cut, Victor Stone wouldn't have an arc as big as the one in this version with the gravisas of the Snyder Cut.
@@AJ-ct8om he actually would have. Zack Snyder confirmed in any version of his movie cyborg is the heart of the film so his arc would have been prevalent either way
I’m still hoping for that Cyborg movie starring Ray Fisher
Yeah, this film was like Victor’s solo film
Anyone else almost cry when he helped the poor mother? That choked me up hard
Me
Me too 😔
I was saddened by Silas death
Same for whatever reason I got choked up the two times I watched it
Yeah, that was truly a beautiful scene.
This and At the Speed of Force made the movie extra special for me
Indeed, though I liked the new upgraded WW’s theme too but at times it was too much. Like the screaming started whenever she showed up😂 but this was soo subtle and sad and alittle horrifying. And yeah flash’s time travel music tops all.
@@TAHIRMAQSOOD15 ikrr
Same here. Easily the most emotional scenes of the film and both add A LOT to Cyborg and Flash.

There better be some Oscar nominations out of this.

@@MissMysteriea little late to this but you couldn’t if explained it better man
This movie is quite literally a dream come true. Thank you Zack.
Victor watched the life of a struggling single mom and chose to save her finacial issues. Watched her give money to homeless when she had none for herself or kids. He recognized the selflessness and that inherhent trait in him makes him the hero he is. So much said about a superhero and without words. Cyborgs story hit so hard this time
To some extent, watching the struggles of a single mother who still took time to live life with her own kid reminded Victor of his relationship to his own mother who is busy all the time but still takes the time to be in the audience for Cyborg’s college football games. This 10-minute sequence with Victor Stone as Cyborg really did feel like a short film but it was weaved into the film real well...
Side-Note: watching this movie reminds me of another amazing aspect of Zack Snyder - how he represents motherhood in his movies. The moms in his movies are portrayed as actual mothers!

Zack Snyder was just ahead of his time with his Art.
I agree
Yes, because he is genius. His vision take us to the limit of art.
Always has been
@Frogger yes your one
@Frogger I see you everywhere crapping on this movie so hello troll.
The moment in the car that Victor starts to cry because of his father absence... I almost cried together 😭😭😭
Man hate to do it but here its justified,i think that scene speaks to alot of us younger men who have grown without a father being there to support us , even of present in our lives sometimes its not enough to be there ,i think fathers must sacrifice some part of themselves to be what hopefully we would want are children to be worth sacrificing for...to be unnaturally loved & supported no matter the state of life we need that faith restored & pushing to keep us uplifted...& flying in life.now a days like cyborg theres too much background noise to focus on it ,too much of society & labels being shot @ all around that one cant escape in peace the sound.
Yes that scene really felt like a punch in the gut when he started to cry. Extremely powerfully acted.
bruh me too
.
And when he needed him the most on his death bed he was there. And made sure he didn't die.
This track perfectly captures Cyborg's humanity. I've never seen such a moment in a superhero film where the hero expresses empathy in a way it was shown in this film.
It's also so regal to me with the mobox theme and Cyborg's being entangled. Each Mobox had a royal guardian, Chris Terrio placed Cyborg right next to WW and AM in the pantheon I love it
Love this sequence, plus Ray’s performance in the entire movie was so perfect.

To think this scene was taken from us by WB. Zack never gave up hope. Im glad I didn't. Amazing scene.
This music gives me Frankenstein's Monster hiding in the shadows vibes. A "monster" (Cyborg) hiding in the shadows afraid of how people will see him and even afraid of himself.
True
You know his name is a pun on Victor Frankenstein?

@@sunsetman22 Absolutely. The score greatly enhances the scene. At first it’s just a football game, albeit the championship (where his dad should’ve been). But it goes so hard!! The visuals and audio just...it’s truly incredible.
"Your kid was one of them dad! One of the best of the best."
The relationship with Cyborg and his dad was beautifully done
How Joss wanted a joke about Cyborg's toes hurting and him not understanding why rather than this awesome backstory scene beats me.
Think Ray in that scene along with the 'Booyah' scene he looks like he's dead inside lol

Cyborg is the best character in Snyder's cut. I almost cried during his entire arc

Sometimes you don't need an entire movie to describe a hero's backstory.
You just need plenty of runtime that's all. 4 hours.
@@stevefromminecraft832 actually you need 10 minutes like Snyder did
After watching Watchmen and especially Dr. Manhattan's origin scene, I have never felt that depth of emotions again in such movies. That scene made me love Zack Snyder's work. Visuals...Music...Dialogyes...Emotions. They somehow all come together beautifully complementing each other.
I have been waiting for it to happen. But none of the movies reach there.
Years later, felt same in the BvS opening scene (A Beautiful Lie) and now during Cyborg helping the lady scene and Flash reversing time. These are my absolute favorite scenes in every sense.
Thank You Zack for creating such deep and beautiful masterpiece!
The work that Snyder does is amazing
mash dr manhattan origin story with cyborg soundtrack
@@thyxreaper That would work out well.
Comic book issue come to life!
The huge buildup starting at 6:00 and coming to the maximum at 7:30 just hits differently. Victor’s dad sacrificing himself... That hurt. The scenes with Flash and Cyborg in this movie were so surreal.
I totally can understand the rage of Ray after watching Snyder cut and realized how much Ray's play has been cut by Joss.
I liked how even though he had a grudge against his father he didn't want him hurt or killed. He still had a heart and a conscience in spite of all that armor covering him.
He loved his father. He just wasn't happy that he didn't give him time. But he loved him and would never think of hurting him
But for his father’s absence, Victor would’ve perished along with his mother, as would the rest of the world. 🥹
Cyborg theme is UNDERRATED !
this track is not for everyone... but those who understand this.. have found gold.. like me!
This was Cyborg’s Dr. Manhattan origin moment.
“What you can do now, Victor… Your physical strength is just the tip of the iceberg. The tip of the tip. In a world of ones and zeroes, you are the absolute master. No firewall can stop you. No encryption can defy you. We’re all at your mercy, Vic. From our power grids to our telecommunications, everyone’s lives are controlled and dominated by complex digital networks that will bend, without effort, to your will. The fate of the world will literally rest in your hands. Its entire nuclear arsenal, you could launch with a thought. The world’s monetary systems and its complex interactions will seem as easy to manipulate for you as a child’s plaything. The question - No, the challenge - Won’t be *doing* it. It will be *not* doing. *Not* seeing. It is the burden of this responsibility that will define you and who you choose to be. Victor.”
i love how his father delivered those lines it was beautiful
Now let me speak to you from my heart not as a scientist as a father your father twice over
@@elishawilson5342 *crunch*
I just hope I can get to a point where the cash scene doesn’t completely tear me to shreds every time I see it 😭😭😭😭😭 it’s so powerful, this whole project is incredible
Can't believe they cut out all of Victor's scenes just to have him say a line that isn't even from the comics originally
Well booyah has become his catchphrase because it’s cool and the teen Titans show was great. They’ve even used it in the comics once or twice now.
Other storytellers need a whole solo film in order to present a character.
zack did it in under 20 minutes. Cyborg was the heart of the film

Cyborg is the heart of the movie. Yes. he is. Victor Stone had me teary eyed. Only BVS opening sequence of Falling of the Waynes, made me feel like this before.
3 of my favorite scenes
1. Cyborg helping a struggling mother.
2. Cyborg smiles right before his helmet closes as he is flying.
3. Cyborg fixes Batman’s cargo carrier, when the best minds at Wayne Tech couldn’t fix it.
This movie was perfect
So touching
Even with how the mother box changed Cyborg, even with all his armour, even with all the sorrow he carries, the hate he has towards his father and the world, in the end he still has a heart.
Cyborgs story is too much touching and this soundtrack makes me sad 😥
This music and the Cyborg scene refers to a lot of people these days.

Ray Fisher was awesome in this movie , truly a talent that I see now thanks to Zack.
I personally think the scene where Victor views footage of Linda Reed before hacking into her bank account to give her $100,000 would not have been as powerful without this breathtaking and beautifully-composed soundtrack.
Victor Stone was already promised a bright future, either as an American football player or as a computer genius, and yet he was destined to become something even greater: a hero of the earth. Sometimes fate has a really peculiar sense of humor.
A hero who physically has nothing human left but mentally remains one of the most human characters in the DC universe. And Ray Fisher was able to beautifully transcribe that in his acting.
This track deserves more views ..
It is a crime his scenes were cut in the 2017 version!
“I couldn’t save him…my father.”
The helplessness of Victor standing there, moments after losing his last surviving parent, without anyone comforting him was heartbreaking. The Justice League was there, & Barry did ask “Are you ok?” But that poor young man deserved a hug. 😢
Edit for exact quote:
“He’s dead. My father! I didn’t save him…I couldn’t!”
this scene was heartbroken and emotional 💔
DC always has the best scores
Cyborgs deadly smile after helping a mother gives me goosebumps all time
The part right after that is sad.
A couple passing him by on the sidewalk shuddered in horror at the sight of his mechanical face…which prompts Victor to cover up.😪
What a scene.
Best track of that very, very rich soundtrack. The whole flashback dedicated to Cyborg reminded me of the one dedicated to Dr Manhattan in Watchmen. So atmospheric.
My favorite composition of Tom Holkenborg, sad but also inspiring.
Man this piece is terrifying . Ray fisher absolutely nailed the part
Who cries when cyborg helped that lady with financial issue
Just seeing her excitement
Me, I can hear her sound of joy when she got the money
I was crying when the woman saw her bank account. A woman, single mother with 2 children, no home, and only 11 $ in her bank account. It showed the problem in our society. And when he hacked it and made it so she had enough to start over, i cried. I understood him, his heart, his pain. How helping that lost family helped him in a way. But mostly, i cried at the INJUSTICE this vision received. In 2017 we saw a CORPSE!!! They cut out the soul of the movie. I was crying so much because what they did should be seen as a crime. I saw it. And yes, this IS the Justice League we were promised, the one we deserved. If they make the rest of it, it can top the Avengers. Because this universe feels real, while the only real feeling i got in Avengers was in End Game. Not saying i did not like the movies. I did. But JL now did much more than the first avenger movies did for me. And i am happy.

What a theme. It will likely go somewhat unnoticed during people's initial viewings, but later on, many will recognize how perfect this was. Everything that went into Cyborg paired with Ray's portrayal brought something truly special to the screen, amidst an ocean of fairly standard super-hero fare.
