(11:30) You have a real talent for making your audience feel like they're part of the story. Your visit back to the farm is so nostalgic and beautifully described!
To all those asking Jordan to add more to the story he can only do that if the author has written a part two. The author to the story is Rene Rehn links to their other stories are in the discription of the video. The author's name is displaied on the bottom right hand side of the screen even if the sorty was written by Jordan himself. I've seen this time and time again where people assume that becasue Jordan is both a narator and author that all stories he reads are his own when in fact their not. Please remember to either check the discription of the video or the right hand side of the screen also at the end of each story Jordan will credit the author so before you beg Jordan for a part two make sure it's his own work if not then show love to both Jordan for narating and the actual author for the amazing piece of writing.
Great narration! I love the different voices. It totally gets your imagination going! Absolute cliffhanger of a story, too. I really need to know what happened, lol
Hi Jordan 👋. Thank you for the video ❤. My birthday is on the 26th and I requested the day off of work 😁. Looking forward to joining everyone in the chat on my birthday!!
Rehn habitually misuses the phrase “out of it” to mean “frantically terrified” and “hysterical or frozen with fear” and not its real meaning of “disoriented." That's how I always know it's Rene Rehn.
I think it's down to writing styles as well as the types of characters they create. Like 02312 their stories tend to have a romance hidden or in the forground and it's normally between two non humans or a non human and a human. Normally where the non human keeps a human safe from a movre violent non human or they simply want to keep them as a pet.
@@ca-li-co689 Thank you so much for this comment! I always thought 'out of it' or 'out of one's mind meant' literally losing one's mental faculties due to fear or terrifying events. Guess I might just have caught it somewhere from a different story back in the day, and just got used to it. Please never shy away from pointing out errors if they annoy you, it really helps. As a non-native speaker, I think there might be quite a few phrases I'm using in weird or entirely wrong ways still.
@rehnwriter I had no idea you were ESL! That's crazy! You honestly don't write like it's not your native language. The whole "out of it" thing sounds like an error a native speaker would make. I definitely feel like an asshole now but I'm gonna own it and try to be constructive? My understanding as an American English speaker is that "out of it" and "out of one's mind" also mean different things from each other. "Out of it" means disoriented or disconnected from reality, generally with more of a physical rather than emotional cause. Someone so tired that he doesn't hear anything said to him for several minutes, or someone concussed and confused about where he is can both be accurately described as "out of it." The phrase "out of one's mind" on its own usually means extremely crazy. Context dictates what specific flavor of crazy, but it's typically a bad thing. I had no idea you were ESL! That's crazy! The phrase "out of one's mind" on its own usually means extremely crazy. Context dictates what flavor of crazy, but generally it's a negative or bad thing. I've heard "out of one's mind with fear/terror" used to describe a person who gets so scared they start acting irrational or crazy, for instance rapid, nonsensical babbling or frantic, almost animalistic behavior. A drowning person who drowns a rescuer by trying to climb them is someone I'd describe as out of their mind with fear. I personally associate it with particularly extreme flight responses, but I'm sure it can be used for fight responses too. The correlary phrases for a freeze response that I've most commonly heard are variations of "frozen" or "frozen in fear," but I'm definitely not a good creative writer, so I don't know if that's considered cliche or overused in the horror genre. Any other people who want to round out this explanation better, please do, because English is stupidly fluid and hard to describe.
@ca-li-co689 Hopefully we can agree to disagree here but Rene's use of "out of it" seems perfectly on point to me describing frozen in fear or hysterical.... Meaning out of ones depth or level of comfort in dealing with negativity or frightening things. "Out of it" in a disoriented definition seems more slang IMHO. In doesn't explain or have obvious meaning as to what you are "out of." Adjectives that convey fear or terror are pretty basic and obvious. There's no guesswork of the root cause of use of said adjectives. And we (Americans) speak American. We're not exactly in any place to question the rights and wrongs of the use of the Queens English; language used all over Europe and in most of Canada. I can't speak for Québécois tho. 🤣 They confuse me. That's Jordan's wheelhouse! 😂 But YES....every author has a "tell." Actually, every HUMAN has a "tell." Some more rudimentary than others while the others can be quite complex.💯😂
Omg! It was sooo good!!! Please, please, please add to this. This could really take so many amazing twists and turns. This story really locked me in. It is so good! Thank you. Part two would be amazing!

👍👍tremendously sublime, this story was a fantastic and thrilling pulse pounding suspenseful nightmare. I was hoping he gets out. I loved and totally enjoyed this amazing story. Thanks Jordan.😇💖
Man Rene, it's a chicken COOP not a chicken crop. Jordan has to faithfully read these things aloud even if they're wrong. :/ Proofread for him, not us.
Honestly, I'm not sure what went wrong there. It might have been one of the phrases I remembered incorrectly and had stuck as 'chicken crop' instead of 'chicken coop' back in the day. I think there might be some others that I misuse or just write / spell plain wrong, unfortunately.
Fantastic story and really well-read!! I hope the author makes a new story where Gregor shows up again.
This was a really good one.
Greetings from the Netherlands
That was a really good creepy story I Loved it Thank you Jordan ❤
One might even say that cow was... Udderly ridiculous? Oooo! 😂
Nicceeee😂

A key detail that signifies that it's one of his stories, is that it will portrait his obsession with those damn blue sunnies.
Great narration! I love the different voices. It totally gets your imagination going! Absolute cliffhanger of a story, too. I really need to know what happened, lol
Great Story … thank you very much ❤
Thanks Jordan
