How far is 25 to 34 km on a map in World of Warships Legends ?
Wargaming has introduced a huge patch, where flight distance is now limited. And fuel/distance amount is given per squadron.
Going left to right in the tech tree, the planes have progressively shorter flight distances. Summarised at 12:50.
The video also tests to see if the fuel usage is linear, or instead if you burn far much more fuel at full throttle. Conclusion is that there is no difference, so you may as well go full speed all the time until you find your target.
Caption at 8:59 should say : same as Ryujo torpedo bomber. But essentially there’s not much between 30 and 32km, covering three CVs. Comparatively 28km feels a little short and requires short burst runs such as the Furious torpedo bombers; but the Weser and Serov are significantly hampered in distance.
It may make sense the Serov does not need a great distance due to unloading all in a single dive. But with low health, they easily shred and end up de-planed if the opposition has semi decent AA. Same can be said if you’re relying solely on the Weser torpedo bomber.
