Well, I wrote this album around the time I was graduating from high school, and it took a while to record, because I was doing most of it myself. I'm wondering how Glass Animals can be touring when this album is my intellectual property, my creation, music and lyrics. I'm really pissed off. I'm watching all this figures and colors with such fascination that I get lost in its magic. It's hard to believe that all of this was made by a human being, and the only thing that reminds me that fact, are the fingerprints on the clay. The voice, the sounds, the atmosphere are simply amazing. It's the greatest music that I've ever listened to. I wish I had the correct grammar to express the ethereal effect that it has on me... I don't think that's fair; I've listened to all there albums on repeat - and every album feels different. And Dreamland is actually a solid Album - heat waves is only one song from that album - Domestic Bliss? Water falls? incredibly Loud? At the end of the day this band experiments with each album to convey an atmosphere. Guarantee there next album will have a totally different sound and style.

This makes me imagine 6 boys in a jungle running from a dark shadow. They all take separate paths and separate. Than each group up into groups of two each later on in the song. At the end, I imagine one of the two boys in the group protecting the other one, who is scared. I don't know why I thought of this, but I love this song. Glass Animals in general!
