Did you guys take any travel package ? How did you know where to go. I am thinking about traveling there, what are the recommendations places you recommend ? How many days would be ideal to stay
Hi there! We planned and booked everything on our own. On top of the places featured in my recent videos such as: Jack’s Point, Arrowtown and the Lakes District. I would recommend going into Mt Cook for a day hike and also spending a night in Lake Tekapo and another in Lake Wānaka. If you’re into hiking definitely do Roy’s Peak, hike up there to see the sunrise. So going for a week would be enough to see all the above. Yea we stayed in one accommodation for the entire time as it was on special, otherwise we would have stayed in different towns. The place is called Kamana Lakehouse in Queenstown.
Even though it is a bit chilly in winter, life in the Lake districts seems pretty nice to me. Thanks Strabo excellent photography
