I bought the Makita Lantern with the digital radio based on your review for camping and around the house stuff and have just bought the kit with the extended pole saw, hedge trimmer and whipper snipper with more batteries and another fast charger. Seems that I now have as many batteries and chargers as a tradie. I think I have issues.................. Thanks for the videos. Hope you have a great festive season.
Got some money for Christmas, and low and behold, it's the right amount for the Microwave... I'm gonna do it! Been wanting one since we brought them into the store!
My surprising favorite makita tool is the 40V Brushless 270mm Rail Circular Saw HS011GZ. Great for fencing, run the track, get all the posts square and level. The saw is light enough and manageable to use every day. I was expecting a scary horrible torque monster, it's surprisingly controllable even when cutting posts at 1.8m.
I got the impact from Japan. Your recommendation was spot on - it is perfection. Coincidently the small blade left saw has seen a lot of use in my hand - very good saw! Somehow the battery appears to run longer on this than on the large blade left saw doing the same tasks.
I can't believe the little 6 1/4 with the removable side of the base plate wasn't in there... awesome little saw and bought it from your review for a large floor removal during the year. Love your work Merry Christmas bro
Knew it......your top choice of 2023 had to be what it is for sure. Can't wait for the UK to get the DTD173 (even though i just got another DTD172 in my collection) Can't beat the functionality of this DTW172 impact driver compared to other brands. excited to see what Makita has to offer in the way of LXT Batteries as from experience here in the uk Makita takes their time to make sure things are good before they get put out. Have a great Xmas ans see you in the new year 2024.
76mm grinder I think 173 impact is japan only so i bought a 172 by mistake still pretty good but i want that ring light Waiting impatiently for 3 inch nailer Couple of grinders Heat gun The lxt barrow is fantastic
Hey tools. Do you know if makita is planning to release some of their battery powered staplers in europe. They have them in japan for more than a year..
they could make snowmobile and electric bicycles for kids 😮 or even for grown, with 4x18v 😳👍 kind of if you dont work anymore but have a lot of accumulators. or invent kind of screwdriver that you could use as a motor for bicycle with usual 18v 🤔
I bought 7, 2 LXT 5 XGT, Gotta say all the tools I upgraded to 40v were worth it, especially the router, it tears through much tougher wood and the bits seem to last longer
This gives me a headache! Why would they make the best impact in 18v and not the 40v, where do you go to see the latest versions of tools, it's so confusing with all the different #'s for the same tool! My head hurts!
They alternate back and forth between the 18V flagship and the 40V flagship. The 40V is still rated for more torque, has a couple extra modes and has the Dual Spring Technology (which increases IPM quite a bit up to 4600). But in reality they have about the same torque.
Did you see yesterday's Makita vid? ruclips.net/video/gfXOetj6rXo/видео.html
I did, loved the power cut🖖
Thank you tools! For all you do! Makita fans everywhere applaud you!🎉
I just can't take the nail gun suspense any longer 😢!

Thank you Mr. Stuff.
For me, as a gardening professional, the bl4040f is the best. I want to see how it improves the use of my small pruning chainsaw and saber saw.
Any news on when that BL4040F will come to the USA? Or maybe there is an overseas source?
Thanks for all the good videos, keep up the great work.
Thanks, will do!
Merry Christmas mate! Enjoy some quieter days and the new year's fireworks. 🎆
Just finished the last vid. Cheers for the content mate

Love your work Merry Christmas bro
It's a 5" saw and was released a few years ago, that's why it wasn't in the list. It might have been in last year's list? Great little saw.
Merry Christmas! To another year of fueling my tool addiction
😂 good one. Thanks for all the reviews. 🙏🏻 it really helps me buying en selecting my tools and stuff.
Merry Xmas Makita Elf ! … preying to Anjō Santa for a small XGT inverter of some sort in 2024!
I can offer you an inverter of sorts...
I'd love to see an oil impulse version of the 173. Merry summery Christmas over there!
That'd be sweet. Well... it rained all Christmas day here unfortunately.
Don't worry. Santa has rain gear. :)@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL
Things are going to get MUCH better by the end of November 2024!
Been using the td173 for a year and didn't know about the feature that keeps the light on! I might need to buy one for my camping set up.
Merry Christmas to you and your family mucka!!!, keep on making awesome content my friend 🤟🤟
Same to you. One more to go tonight.
Oh i thought the dtd713 was out last year. No glow in the dark bumber ring though. Hard to say what my favourite tool was they made this year
Cheers to another year! Don't feel you have to pump out content at this rate if it's burning you out.
Cheers man... might be some changes next year...
Thanks for all the reviews. I just bought the tiny grinder! Can't find the small SDS in UK. Happy new year!
The SDS will be out in the UK in January.
I want all of these tools as I dont have any of these, and thats saying something form someone with 27 Makita cordless tools!
Merry Xmas
Even if I diversify (which I might soon)I will always love Japanese tools, and I will always have makita in my kit.
Actually they will start producing dtd173 for europe in 2024 september, according to my sources, so we will have to wait
Lol. Way to get your hottest product to market, Makita. 🤣

Merry Christmas! That was a really cruel way to end the video.
Hey tools. Do you know if makita is planning to release some of their battery powered staplers in europe. They have them in japan for more than a year..
Good question!
what is tabless cell? are those like the dewalt's powerstak?
I explain it here ruclips.net/video/btr6vj8OEiY/видео.html
Any word on a 173 impact xgt equivalent? Cheers
Nothing definitive yet.
Gotta make the 40v waffle iron first.
I just got the Makita JV002g and I haven’t seen anyone else with one!
4 hours until my review...
Cant find the DTD173 in NZ yet. 😢
You can get one cheaper from Japan anyway. Delivery in 5 days. Links in description.
I would like to purchase the TD 173D. How can I purchase this impact driver. Thank you in advance.
There are some links for purchasing in the description.

Thanks man, much appreciated.
How many Makita tools did you buy in 2023? I’ll start off…. I bought 9 (all LXT)
I bought 7,
2 LXT 5 XGT,
Gotta say all the tools I upgraded to 40v were worth it, especially the router, it tears through much tougher wood and the bits seem to last longer
Started year of with six piece xgt set from mitre 10 using beat it by 15% guarantee. Then xgt 270mm saw and xgt impact wrench.
2 CXT, 11 LXT, 17 XGT))) From Russia with love!
This gives me a headache! Why would they make the best impact in 18v and not the 40v, where do you go to see the latest versions of tools, it's so confusing with all the different #'s for the same tool! My head hurts!

I just googled Makita DTD 173, came up on Aliexpress for £46.69 and free shipping, could this be genuine?
Most definitely not.
No dtd173 available yet, only td173d as of now
Thanks!
Thank you and Happy New Year!
Thanks
Thanks for your support.
