Huge congrats on 100k James! Amazing accomplishment my friend!
Thank you so much!
Good old military surplus. Thanks for sharing the info. Congratulations again on the 100K . Have a blessed evening
Thank you so much, my friend!
Hi from Syracuse NY brother and thank you for sharing your thoughts and information on camping and adventures
Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the heads up. I've been looking for some type of case for my big boy pro 2000 and hadn't been able to find one that would hold it well enough. God bless and stay safe.
Great, thanks for watching the video and I'm glad that you liked it! God bless you too.
Congrats on 100k!
Good video. Being able to carry securely and access quickly is just as important as having in the first place.
Thank you so much! Indeed, carrying it around where it's accessible is pretty much why I started searching for a pouch of some type to carry it in.
Gotta get me a couple of those flare pouches, Outstanding👌🤠👍
Congratulations on you're 100 thousand, much deserved.
They are pretty cool and work very well. Thank you so much for the kudos!
I have and love the silky saws , I’ve got the gomboy and bigboy both in the outback edition they are awesome . I put the big boy to work this year helping to process the deer I harvested in hunting session it works like a laser . Thanks for the vid and congratulations on hitting 100k subs
Excellent. Thank you for watching!
Awesome pouch !!! I'll be looking later on for that ,for sure. Thanks for your time
Thank you for watching.
Awesome video James and way to go on the 💯 k subs, hopefully many more to come. I really liked that military surplus pouch that you have your saw in. I myself love military surplus items. Everything from packs, pouches to clothing and accessories, you can get some really durable items only downfall is you may have to hunt for a little bit, but it's worth it in the end.
Thank you so much and I'm glad you liked the video!
i have been looking for something like this for a long time thank you so much
Thanks for watching! Glad you found it helpful.
I am picking up a Silky 240 soon, and that ammo case looks perfect! Great recommendation, thank you!
You're welcome!
Nice demo brother.100k congratulations you worthy it.
Thank you so much!
Another of your great dyi. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much, my friend!
I really like silky saws and I've had a military pouch like yours for a year now and it's perfect.
Excellent. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the ideas for the carrying of our saw.
Thank you for watching, my friend!
@@WayPointSurvival always my friend! Congratulations on 100,000 subscribers today ! Merry Christmas to you and your family !

You are a groovy dude....
🎅 Merry Christmas!!! 🎅
Thank you for watching!
Excellent needs me a case for me Silky... thanks James.
Thank you for watching, glad you liked it!
i have two silky saws dont like the folding ones much though . Silky Tsurugi 400-10 is atm my favourite i can slide it down between the side detachable pockets on the bergan and clip it off to a bit of webbing then it is easy to attach to belt when in use, my other one is Silky Gomtaro 300-8 slightly shorter and a courser cut good on fresh wood but not so great on dry the finer is better. But this is in a black scabbard and plastic, while the other is an aluminium scabbard so shiny and less easy to lose in the grass haha. i have seen people cut themselves with the folding saws they forget just how sharp a silky is.
I like the folding ones because they're compact and a little easier to pack into the backcountry. Thank you for watching!
@@WayPointSurvival i am now off to find yer katana boy vid , i am trying not to buy one haha
I was using a corona saw one winter to cut down a small tree that had fallen into my grandmas backyard, my hand slipped on it and i reflexively closed my hand directly onto the first 4-5 inches of the saw blade and that thing punctured my hand and fingers, the teeth on most of these saws are like razors!
James , good tip , thanks for sharing , God bless !
Thanks for watching, and God bless you too!
Love ur video's I've learned so much from watching them
Thank you so much, glad that you are enjoying them!
Interesting Carry options for a very important tool.
There is NO way I am going into The Canadian Northern woods without an axe or folding saw !
Indeed. Thank you for watching, my friend!
Didn't know that Silky offered other saw pouches besides their clear plastic one (that I don't use), I use a the same flare pouch!
Congratulations on 100K, James
Thank you so much!
Thank U for the Info and the Links 👍

Hi James,
I have the Silky 240, 170, and 130 saws and I use the OneTigris X-Sheath Multi-use Tool pouch Holster for all 3. Available on Amazon for about $17. It is adjustable, has both a Dring and Molle compatible strap on back.
Very good. Thank you for watching.
Good call, I've been looking for a case for my Silky.
Got all the info I needed by hitting the ten second skip all the way through without stopping
Thank you for watching.
Hey Jim congrats on your 100.000
Thank you so much!
I have the gomboy 240 with the straight blade. Found a P90 magazine pouch fits it perfectly. Its very similar to that pop flair pouch. Only difference is no fast teck buckle, only velcro. Think I will pick one up and give it a try. Thanks for the info.
Excellent. Thank you for watching!
Great idea, thx for the vid
Thank you for watching.
Nice ideas. Thanks
Thank you for watching!
Merry Christmas from Syracuse NY brother
Thank you so much, and Merry Christmas to you too!
Good episode thanks
Thank you for watching.
I made my cases out of PVC pipe , I customized mine to hold other things and to fit any belt . They work so well I've made some for friends and family members .
Excellent. Thanks for watching.
Have a nice christmas. 🎄🎄🎄
Thank you, and Merry Christmas to you too!
Well wouldn't you know it, I looked and looked for a pouch for my Corona saw and finally ended up sewing a leather one from a woman's boot top. I like mine but that flare pouch is just shat I was looking for.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Excellent, glad you liked it and thanks for watching the video!
Did you buy your lady a new pair of boots? :-)
That military bag looks like it was mad for your silkie saw.. nice review
Indeed. Thank you for watching!
amazing size, only in USA , very interesting video
Thank you so much!
I love my silky saw 😁👍
Thank you for watching!
P.s I've got two of those pouches coming and I will be getting my selfie saw next month
Looks very good I would keep it on my pack
Thanks again for watching!
🤔 Saw stored next to tourniquet? 🤔 Hidden message there?
Awesome video!
Seriously though, congratulations on 100K subs! 😎👊☕️
Thank you so much!
@@WayPointSurvival you are most welcome.
Thanks for the video. I've been flirting with getting a Silky saw. Just not sure what size to get. You have other videos on Silky saws?
Nevermind, I found one of your older videos and it was what I was looking for. Although I'm more into 18th century type of survival, I'm more than willing to have a nice Silky to cheat with. Wasn't sure which size to get but I think you've helped me narrow it down which I thank you for that. Merry Christmas from us to you and your clan🙂
Excellent, glad you found the other video and that it was helpful for you! Merry Christmas!
TK JAMES IS VERY PRACTICAL , I SEEYOU LATER
Thank you for watching!
I hear about the choice of tooth size on videos. I have the F180 Pro and the BigBoy Pro. Both are large teeth and I find I can still cut small branches fairly easy with my F180 even though it's the large teeth. I just have to saw into it more lightly and it works good. I haven't tried small stuff with the BigBoy. I mean it is a long blade used for the _BIG_ stuff. Maybe I'll try it out next chance I get.
Yes, it can be used for that. However, for the smaller saws I do prefer the medium teeth.
I don't really need the belt sheath for my BigBoy. I either have in in the side pocket of my pack, carry it in my hand or at camp I can just hang it up. I made a paracord lanyard on the end to hang it up on a branch, hook, etc.
Excellent, thanks for watching!
👍🏻 on 100k
Thank you so much!
I have the Gomboy 240 curve, i love it, what was that suplus case called again?? Pock flair??
Pop flare case.
My BigBoy is the 360 Pro.
Sounds good!
Do you have any suggestions for one of the smaller Pocket Boys? Thank you.
I carry one in my fire kit. You'll find it listed under the DIY fire kit video. It fits in a maxpedition zipper case.
I do wonder why the F180 Pro didn't come with a plastic case? Not that it's a big deal for me. I always keep it in my pocket for easy access anyway. But it would be nice for any time I'd like to store it away in a pack or in my room at home, etc.
I think they were just trying to keep the price down.
To Mr James Bender of waypoint survival
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and God bless my friend
And the same to you, my friend!
i do need a saw for my emergency gear ill do some looking
Great, glad you like the video.
@@WayPointSurvival any recommends for someone on extreme budget to have a good saw for emergency use in a car kit about that size?
I need a Silky saw. Someone tell Santa please.
I know, right?
Where's the 100k subscriber giveaway??
I don't usually do giveaways. Thank you for watching.
P.s I got 2 for about $5.00 dollars a peace
Excellent. That's a really good deal!
In America does your - how you say - beeg brother - approve of such a dangerous weapon?
In Russia we have no beeg brother. But our drunk hairy uncle say it okay. Lol
Lol paruski?
A guy that worked with me would always talk about the fat hairy uncle with drinking problem. I used it here but cannot pinpoint its actual origin. My coworker lacked originality so he must have heard it somewhere. Lol
Thank you for watching, lol.
@@barrykelly2722 that's funny but I think KGB is big brother
@@barrykelly2722 im not russian I just know some slang.....lol
The pop flare is exactly what I'm looking for, I know this is an older video but do you think the gomboy outback curved 240 would fit the same as the regular version? Is this coyote brown? That is the only colour option I can find online but this looks more olive?
Yes, the Gomboy Outback curved 240 will fit the same. The color is a coyote. There may be other colors out there but I'm not sure of it.
@@WayPointSurvival fantastic thanks so much!
